Hidden Characters in Spider-Man 2 Enter Electro 

After 20 years, I'm still imagining a sequel of these two amazing games, involving Goblin, Vulture, Kraven, Morbius, Vermin as enemies and possibly major appearence from already seen characters from the first games like Venom, Lizard, Black Cat, Daredevil...

In Enter Electro, Hobgoblin is also mentioned in one of Spidey's lines. Specifically, in the level "Gangland", he says "Hey, who dresses you guys anyway? Hobgoblin?"

I really love classic Marvel.

I was so disappointed back in the day when i realized i was never going to battle beetle.

I really wish a third game was made, or a fourth if you count the Gameboy game. These games felt like the comic books in video game form. I remember as a pre-teen thinking a third game would happen and introudce Goblin. I know some people see the movie tie-in game for the first Spider-Man movie as a spiritual successor to these 2 games as it had those villains missing from these games like Goblin, and Vulture and gameplay was very similar to those games. Also glad I'm not the only one who thought it was weird that Beetle just disappeared from the story. I honestly think a boss fight was either cut or had to be scrapped. Would love someone to interview people who made this game and ask those questions. I know a year or 2 ago the lead developer of these games said he would love to remake these games and I'd love that honestly. I know the Open World Spider-Man games Insomanic are making but I don't mind linear games either that are more comic book-y.

I wonder if Blade in Prague was an Easter egg about Blade 2 which was filmed in Prague

I love the superhero references in this game, because you can feel like Marvel was investing big in games and was building a whole universe. Blade had his own game, mostly due to the movie's brand new popularity, but the X-Men also got their own game and that game got promoted in 'Spider-Man 2' (PS1), which was different from Spidey being put in 'Tony Hawk's Pro Skater'. It's like they were really going for something bigger than just a few games on the most famous superheroes, until the first Spider-Man movie, when the games became... straight up movie adaptations, and that was a double edged sword. So came along games closer to the movies such as Wolverine, Hulk, Punisher, Fantastic Four, Ghost Rider, we almost even got a Daredevil game, all of this 20 years ago, so you can see how Marvel is finally coming around. If not for how bad movie games got around 10 years ago, we would probably still get MCU based games, and thankfully that didn't happen lol.

I wonder if they even made a model for Beetle. Also, in the cutscenes before and after the Hammerhead fight, Spider-Man mentions Elektra. Confused me when I was a kid because I didnt know about Elektra and the main villain in the game is called Electro lol

Not really sure why beetle wasn't in the game. Maybe they wanted to stay away from flying villains? Would make sense, since you never fight any flying villains in the 2 games, where they could've used one of the goblins, vulture, or the beetle. When they released the movie game, they focused more on these guys since they hadn't before.
