Honestly, this video is super underrated. At a club level some of the hardest serves to return well are the half long serves to the forehand that is hard to tell whether its underspin or backspin, and most of the time I'll miss the ball or hit a poor return. Waiting for the ball to drop and spin up is actually super incredible advice. It's not obvious because most of the time you want to hit the ball where it doesn't feel "ugly". I think learning to hit the "ugly" shot and having the ball drop is honestly a secret tip that will tremendously help people receive serves better at an amateur level.
The auto generated subtitles are doing more harm than good apparently theyre terrible at understanding your aussie accent. Instead of spinny it said speedy and instead of start beating players it said stop beating players
