Creator of this video how could you put in so much effort into a video and get your facts wrong Lamar Jackson is not the second youngest MVP he is the youngest ever MVP of all time and youngest unanimous MVP both Mahomes was the youngest the year before and Lamar Jackson was younger than Mahomes was when he won it and if you even Google who the Frick the youngest MVP of all time is it Lamar Jackson be smarter and if you’re going to take the time and effort to make a great video what you were on track at least get the facts right which is the simplest part of the video
People could not accept that what he did in HS, he could do in college. They also couldn’t accept that what he did in college, he could do in the pros.
There are alot of great players who never got rings but winning rings doesn't make a great person or a respected athlete. I respect his abilities, adversity, and dedication to his craft. Also his negotiation strategy is working beautifully for him.
I do believe winning rings is the amalgamation of talents with great coaching, faith in team, and sometimes a bit of luck as well. Many great athletes may never win rings because the locker room is not conducive for it
I think his so called lack of respect was a bit exaggerated by nonfootball people. He got offers from Florida, Auburn and Clemson- that is 5 star talent offers. He was selected in the first round as a QB in the NFL even though it was a late pick it was still first round.
I love that man. The adversity he faces and the past family situation is something I can relate to. I wish him the best and I do think He is capable of being a top quarterback! He seems to be making very smart adjustments in his play and negotiations to cement him into this league.
One of the dopest stories in sports history. Drastically better than everyone drafted before him. And he’s been an amazing QB in the nfl while never having an elite WR or WR1 for any of his seasons.
Lamar Jackson is my favorite athlete of all time, I'm also a Louisville fan too, so we when traded up to get Lamar it was the best day of my life on draft day.
Lamar has been one of my favourite players since I started watching football. I still have his jersey in my room. He’s one of the most underrated and under-appreciated players in the league that still gets called ‘just a running back’. I hope he does really well this season. GO LAMAR!!
He is a Unicorn as an NFL player. What I love most about this young man is his Humility, Leadership, Respect for his peers, his Ferocity and his ability to keep proving his doubters wrong. His highlights still look the same as when he was in High scool. He's doing the same thing against elite level athletes. I hope that he experiences incredible success throughout his career
I guess it was the same people who said LJ could on be a receiver in the NFL overlooked him in high school. All I know is when I heard UofL was recruiting him and I watched his HS footage, I said, this guy is going to win a Heisman trophy. What they didn't see is mind blowing to me. How could anyone not see his amazing gifts of talent.
I found out about LAMAR his sophomore season at Louisville i watched him score those 8 tds on ESPN then the Clemson game my goodness! Been following him ever since!
He's a great QB. He doesn't need to throw for 4500+ yards to have his team in good position to win games. His legs open up the passing game better thanany other QB ever. He's what Vick could have been if he'd worked hard in Atlanta.
@@Balmighty7 Yea, if he had worked to be great in ATL like he did in Philly, he'd have been incredible. He's come out and said that he didn't work like he should have early on, which is scary cause he was still really good.
I am a diehard EAGLES fan, but I pray that Lamar continues to shine! He is great and no one can take that away from him. I pray God continues to bless him and his family and that he remains humble in the grind.
I'm so damn happy he's on my team man. I backed him from the moment we drafted him too and fully knew what he could do. So glad he's been successful. We need to break the bank for him immediately.
I remember when Lamar was recruited by Louisville (I’m from Kentucky). We were all very excited to see the talent he had and see it coming to Louisville of all fucking places it was just amazing
As a Ravens fan, 2019 was an unbelievable MVP year for Lamar. I still watch the highlight reels from that year. He was simply Lamarvelous. Now he is facing another franchise tag for the 2023 season for the Ravens. His injuries have not helped. Hopefully, the Ravens work something out with him because letting him go would be a grave mistake.
See this is very nice to see just how moms can keep there kids heads on no matter what to see her son rock the world and she and the rest of his family stayed behind him great moms stick by your kids
lamar jackson is top 10 in, passing yards & top 10 rushing yards. a quarter back. he has more yards then 17 other teams. he lead the "NFL." in ypc & ypc. unanimous 1 of 2 mvp's. he has led the league in "passing" touchdowns. while being a thousand yard rusher. he's had the best start to any qb ever. he accounted for 500 of a teams 550, total yards in one game. he has highest completion percentage with over 40 passes with 400 yards. a heisman winner...& he still learning the position. hes so gifted. knows how to make take hits..doesn't get hurt. hes more available then your favorite qb. He's been doing this. I won't mention his visable undeiable, love of the game. leadership characteristics. zero running backs still. missing a offensive line. run first, stuffing defense, control the clock team. pass last team. elite beyond comprehension. he's just moving at a different speed. 31 teams should be ashamed..he was the best player on any football field in the world a long time ago. improvisational skills are sublime..faster. superior. he 64th notes. high speed. difficult, He's a musician. a artist. a master. Jazz. improv. When you have a guy riffing. It's incomprehensible. football genius. A savant like..telsas. the beethovens, einsteins. Lamar is neo in the matrix. watch the game. But yet you can still look at the stats. still most hated. Hed done redefined the laws of nature, throwing the ball longer distances, more accurately. while taking the least time in the pocket.. & without getting sacked more. (think about it.) ..it doesn't matter who's catching, or who's he's handed the ball. Nowhere ever are you supposed to get a greater distance of the ball throwing it. & it gets more accurate. yet, your not taking more time to do it. while not getting to me. he has calculated the situation.. & he will come out on top no matter what you throw at him. everyone just stop hating, enjoy this. Be thankful your alive. he's the greatest player to ever play. thiis comes around every 100 years., this not not anything we've seen. When he plays you feel your watching something special. you watching him play is baltimore, md. he has inbodied my city within his game. he's superman. the criticism is blasphemous. there other oq goes through this. This imaginary bar that grows. I realize now. it's like that because you all eyes see something unimaginable. hes been playing like this.. think he just 25 I'm from bmore. 🔥
I'm a football player and I still want to play ball. My story is just like him, where nobody gave me an opportunity. I played DB and Wide Receiver and I have great athletic skills, as well as being smart in the two positions. I still haven't givin up and I know I can make a push again to get back into the groove. Just like Lamars hungry attitude to prove everyone wrong. Players like us that take the game seriously, we take that energy and thrive to make it happen. The best result for us is when we are laughing at these haters that doubted us. I ain't a big guy, nor the fastest, or the strongest. My heart for the game is pure power, and so was Lamars heart. Athelets like us struggle early because nobody knows how to use our talent and when to use it. Lamar should have gotten first 15 in the first round pick. Instead he got last, and just like I said Players like us use that to our advantage. It makes us angry, hungry, and act out on the field winning a game and proving everyone that doubted us wrong. And again the result is we get to laugh at those haters because we did the impossible that no one thought athletes like us were capable of proving. There is a fat respect for those that were doubted in life. Don't give up keep pushing and prove your point to those haters. Lamar did that, while I am still in that process also being young at 21 years old still having a love for Football and wanting to take it further. Keep pushing and prove your haters wrong!
im a middle school slot receiver that can catch really well and the coaches didnt start me much as the dudes who were in the athletics program last year and i rarely got to play for most of the season even though i could play slot receiver and wide receiver, but the defensive coach said i have had amazing catches and the offensive coach finally starter making attempts to pass to me in the final games but the qbs got sacked those times, and the championship for our school district is on october 25 and i hope i get a pass and touchdown
The NFL has historically made Black “Athletic” quarterbacks switch positions. A lot of good quarterback careers have been torn down for him to get where he is now. Great to see him shine.
everybody dismissed Stephen Curry before he became an NBA all star and created a dynasty now he's considered the greatest player in the league all it takes is a chance
If we’re being real being a 3 star isn’t a struggle. I know it’s not 4 or 5 stars, but being a 3 star still gives you power five offers that 4 and 5 stars get.TBH I’ll take being a 3 star any day. Good stuff for Lamar Jackson as one of my favorite qb’s. Just saying for all the young people to not give up on there dreams and even though your not a 4 and 5 star your still gonna get big time scholarships if you work hard enough.
So his Talent has Been from pop Warner to High School on to D-1 college into the Pros same Lamar #8. Crazy how something So GREAT that the NFL an Gatorade advertisement haven't put on a commercial that's an NFL stories about tragedy to triumph being God given Talent. An having to be doubted at each level, seeing him perseverance through it All with your mom at your side.
People always talking about his playoff record, but there is so much nuance to it.. 1. We forget his 1st playoff game he was the youngest QB to ever start a playoff game… I remember that game. The 1st half he played very bad (probably nervous) the second half he was like a totally different player. They almost came back…. 2. His 2nd year, they beat the Titans, but lost to an incredible Buffalo team (that’s the buffalo team that came within 13sec of winning vs Chiefs. 3. In his 3rd year, he got hurt during the playoff game.
Action Jackson is like another Baltimore great, Eddie Murray. They are so consistent great they get over looked. Of course Josh Allen is already in the Hall of Fame as an active player. Funny, because Lamar never had a bad season.
Tbh the clip you showed was a debate of who to build around, Josh Allen or Lamar Jackson. I would have taken Jackson then but now knowing what I know I’d take Josh Allen
To me, a prerequisite for a QB to be a superstar is they need a championship . There are some notable exceptions that were in the league for 15+ years and were very good to excellent the entire time and they are in the top 10 statistically in meaningful categories.
