That is something they'll have to deal with that shit from that point in time. They knew that someone can have their guts and a deranged mind to kill the co-founders if they wish.
You know what makes the 500 crystals even worse? In Honkai Impact 1 pull costs 280 crystals. So while we got only 1 pull the Chinese players got a free 10 pull.
Yeah we can see who's favourite child Its just so infuriating that when global finally gets something that they don't , they went mad like an entitled toddler while they always get everything :/ While we global players could be rightfully mad for unfair treatment here Im just glad if we get something sometimes, not really mad but its still unfair Im more mad at how some deranged chinese players just getting mad when global gets something, while they always get something we never can
@@Super-7327 well the game has gotten censored alot But it's still a coomer game to this day, there doing there best to stick to "that audience" as best as they can with Chinese laws
Let’s not forget about when the global community wanted to play a male character everyone was hyped for (Kevin Kaslana), but Hoyoverse made a poll only for the Chinese community to add him or not, and the CN players said no because they didn’t want their game about hot women to be tainted by a playable male 💀 it was so revolting lol

Man... I remember this incident. As someone who started RIGHT BEFORE Global 3rd anniversary, it was a wild time to start because it arguably was one of the best times to get into the game. Right before Herrscher of Sentience came out, one of the most beloved characters Mihoyo has arguably ever made... everyone was having a great time... and then it just got followed up with... this. Slight correction I just wanted to add. There are men in Honkai Impact 3rd, as in male characters that have relevancy to the story and characters. Outside of some alternate game modes though, only women are playable. The men in this game actually have a decently sized following in the global fanbase, if anything there was a survey released last year where Mihoyo asked players if there would be any interest in adding them to the game and... they got shot down HARD by the Chinese fanbase. I genuinely think Mihoyo has some amount of regret on making Honkai Impact 3rd a purely waifu-based game because as seen with Genshin and Star Rail there is an audience for it, and making Honkai Impact 3rd this type of game has bred a very specific type of unhinged player in both Global and Chinese fandoms. The "love-live" type of fan who are HYPER possessive/obsessive of their waifu's and will see ANY man, even a fictional man, in the same scene as them as... competition. No. I'm not kidding. This is a thing. There are genuinely insane people out there like the ones I mentioned and the one's covered in this video. Regardless this is just a sad incident all around as it's created some serious segregation among global and Chinese Honkai players when it was just a loud minority who ruined it for everyone. The effects of it in the global players are still felt to this day any time this incident or mentions of Chinese censorship comes up. It's a shame too, Honkai Impact 3rd is a wonderful game that is far more than just a waifu game/fan-service bait. It represents some of the best of Mihoyo's writing and I would recommend anyone to genuinly give it a chance.
If I'm not wrong they wanted to add Kevin as playable but they saw the consequences with having Adam as a playable character so they went back on their idea unfortunately
@@Ikaririnn I don't remember if it was specifically Kevin they wanted to add, but it wouldn't shock me. The guy got a whole segment in last year's concert solely dedicated to him. So it's clear Mihoyo acknowledges the love for him. We can maybe hope he'll be in Star Rail, Welt got that treatment. So you never know after all.
Even tho i am asian i still hate the fact that the chinese players are the reason why we cannot play as a male character. I just hope that in star rail we get to play some of the Flame chaser
Still crying for the fact we wont get playable Kebin (he dead), and the only thing that could work is another universe version of him in HSR@@arcflamearcanum7579 Also because of this, CN part of the misandrist will be forced to play male character (lmao) Dreamseeker is both male and female collaborator character, one is physical buffer and one is Lightning buffer
Former honkai impact 3rd player here. This entire incident made me realize that the chinese players are such self-centered psychopaths that anything that isn't targeting them and them alone, will cause an uproar on the community. This wasn't the reason i left that community, but it played a big role in it. Genshin Players complaining that "oh mihoyo never gives us anything" or "oh hoyoverse cares more about the chinese players than global players", well it's not exactly their fault... if you wanna blame someone blame the chinese players, not the company.
Also former honkai impact 3rd player here, you are right, like extremely correct. Idk why this even angered them like, generally they get a lot more than the global version so when the global players get something a bit extra, why ruin it?
Ah yes i remember this one. What is funny is that after that incident that disapoonted global players, azur lane casually release a bunch of bunny girl skins.
I love how Azur Lane absolutely always comes out of no where with the "fuck you" to every possible person they can, I mean just last year they went through severe censorship cause of CN and had to post pone some of the events they had planned and by the time they were done the first thing they did after months of no event was release probably some of the lewdest skins that we had ever seen up to that point. Manju literally will do anything just to throw shade at any one that has a problem with censorship.
AL has a lot of skins that border on sexual and are too suggestive (last year were New Year, Hot Springs, DoA Collab, Summer, September, Senran Collab, and Bunnys to end the year), and even with prior censorship and removed skins in china servers, they continue doing it F for hoyoverse
I was one of the players who manage to see the bunny girl event before it got taken down. And to this day, there are still some honkai players salty about this incident. What was meant to be a unique event exclusively for global players became a huge reminder and example that the CN community will always have the GREATEST influence with MiHoYo then any other player base. Not only did they effectively ruined Global's 3rd anniversary event, they also got rewarded with a free 10x pull. Global servers simply got 500 xtals which is not even enough for 2 pulls. I'm not complaining since I've moved past it but it's just a dark reminder of who they'll prioritize over
It not just that, it's a warning as well in the future. If the conditions are right, it will happen again, and this time, the co-founders (and to the extent other players, both CN and Global; assuming if the potential murderers use tracking technology) may not live another day.
@@ROBLOXGamingDavid Oh it definitely did. I also think this incident destroyed any future exclusive in-game events for global community in any Hoyoverse game. Even if the event wasn't something as extreme as sexualizing favorite characters, the CN community would still be jealous for not being included
@@ROBLOXGamingDavid Welt Welt Welt, what do you know... GENSHIN FINALLY STUMBLED UPON THAT PATH FOR PISSING OFF CN FOR THAT DISRESPECT OF LANTERN RITE REWARD GRANTING (10 PLUS 3 IN MAIL EXTRA FATES)!!!
A large amount of the bunny girl drama also came from Chinese players being mad that Fu Hua, their Chinese lovechild, was being made to wear that, so they felt they needed to protest against the event to protect her due to a scene in the video where Senti takes over her body and feels up her own ass
I wasn’t playing Mihoyo games at the time, but I kinda followed the drama. So in another RU-vidr’s recent video commenting on the bunnygirl event, I mentioned Fu Hua, and that Chinese players were angry at her dressing up as a bunnygirl. That triggered (presumably) one of the Chinese players, ranting that, no, she doesn’t “represent” China, that it was a lie, I must be dumb, etc. Now I’m seeing comments talking about the exact same thing. So I WASN’T making things up…
@@Aona_Music I was starting to doubt myself since it was 2(?) years ago and it was from memory. So people WERE angry about it, and I wasn’t misremembering? That’s good to hear.
What sucks is 500 is only one pull since a pull is worth 280 crystals yet chinese players got 2800 crystals, a free 10 pull. Its not only special to this situation. Mihoyo always treated/gave better rewards on ANY event for chinese players.
Considering that chinese players are way too diseased in their affection for pngs to the point of murder, I'd say a 10 pull is what it takes to make them chill off. 500 isn't a slap. It's saying that everyone else in the world aren't crybabies and can handle their emotions well.
simple: because the people working there or at least the higher-ups are suckers for money and the tyrannical CCP. They'll do anything the moment CN players would rant or complain to their sugar-daddy government.
The Bunny Girl incident was a major collab that HI3 Global had since God knows when also... Also, it was the explosion of the conflict between Global and CN players. Many CN players were displeased that they got nothing from that anniversary, and in the end, many Global players were displeased that CN players got more from destroying their event. But the conflict was there since the beginning, CN got lots of collabs and free goodies, Global got lots of uncensored skins, Asia got the old skins that you can do weird stuff with ... and Global got blame for it... Because none even remembers the Asia server exist... lol. CN players blamed Global for a lot of things they don't have... and Global also don't have because only Asia server or maybe Japan server have... lmao
to be fair, this problem was around since the start of honkai and it just continued all the way until that point in time. CN was always mihoyo's focus and it was evident from the events + colab they were doing in the CN server (and not in global/asia/japan server) Sadly they never gotten around addressing the issue and just left it that way (Maybe they gotten better recently but thats after years of missed events + opportunity between servers). Used to remember the days when i hoped we could do fraction wars with other servers but now, its just a forgotten memory
There was an "Interactive system" in HI3rd, which you can touch their bodies and they will have different reaction according to the heart gauge, and yes, because of some GOOD CN players, we no longer being able to interact with those waifus anymore.(Only early characters still remain the feature though)
8:50 WHAAAT THEEEE- 👁👄👁 Bro really said "You peasants don't deserve the skin for free, you don't lover her like I do, you're not devoted like I am, you didn't save for it like I did!" 😂
As someone who plays HI3 for like 4 years by now, I will never forgive Chinese players. And no, it's not the only reasons. Another reason is when CN players forced Hoyo to remove Kiana stretching animation when her final suit came out
BTW you didn't see some reviews from cn community because you dont understand Chinese, some like the Strecthing some don't like, for me I don't like because you are beating kelvin and making this kind of movement tho😂.
@@rjacks3284It’s the CCP. Get enough people complaining about your “indecent” game, ESPECIALLY if you piss off someone with connections to political power, and suddenly your game is restricted or other BS.
@@琪亚娜公主很漂亮 The Bayonetta-Pose was indeed a bit awkward and goofy infront of Kevin fight. But the snap and slash replacement? It just seems very bland and not that much appealing, like it was overused and a bit straight copy of HoFS. They could have just keep that in combat not story mode. But i guess things worked out, so theres really no reason to continue this topic.
As a competitive player I actually like the snap better. Much faster animation resulting in faster rotations. Also the point of fighting Kevin does sounds really odd if Kiana literally stretches. I used to be really disappointed when CN Beta v2 change it because they removed it, then I got into the Global beta test and I prefer the snap more to be honest, much smoother and faster is always welcome as a competitive player, it opens a lot of rotation possibilities.
That whole situation is the definition of entitlement. When you are unable to recognize your privilege any attempt at balancing the scale feels like an attack. Then add mental illness, there is no way mental illness wasn't part of the equation that lead too all that.
True but in less scale the reasoning is because every companies in china is not making actual good game matching triple a qualityof the western games, but just some shitty ass gacha mobile 2d animation garbage can stuffs where as mihoyo slaping everybody's faces by making games like honkai impact 3 and genshin. Fun Fact: I had an assignment in my elective history class to do a crime board and summary on an assassination, could be attempted or successful. Guess what this video inspired me to do? Fortunately got an A, mostly thanks to the information in this video, so thanks Mujin. Actively keeping my grades up over here!
Worst part of it though was that when the teacher was talking about the variety in crime boards she was like "There was some of ancient times, and our most recent one was the one Real Person did on THE BUNNY GIRL INCIDENT" then proceeded to explain it to the WHOLE CLASS! I kinda did it to myself, but still! AHHHHH
@yaycb Eh, my teacher mostly seemed happy with the work I did. Meanwhile, I don't think the majority of my classmates cared. Or at least they haven't told me otherwise, so that's nice.
The lack of Skins issue is just an Genshin problem tbh, in Honkai allmost every Character has atleast one other skin (ofc not the ones that released in the same version like Susannah but at around 3 Versions after the Release) and Old Characters have multible.
In Honkai they basically release new skins almost every patch. The lack of skins is a GI specific issue and the quality of skins is not even comparable (e.g in GI only Diluc's has different VFX, while in Honkai many have custom ultimates, idles, voicelines and VFX).
@@KikuraKun What's hilarious is that the NPC character "Raymond" doesn't even EXIST anymore in the final game (Replace by a character name Lily who's yet to be seen), and they still HATE him because of Daiyan Lightning pandent translation name "thunder", it was THEN stated that it was given by Groza, the mascot girl of the game. All because of a data leak from the CBT3...
If I had a nickel for every Honkai controversy, man. The Bikini suits incident The Adam incident (CN players had an aneurysm over a playable male in a seperate game mode) The Bunny girl incident The Male characters AGAIN (Mihoyo at some later point issued a survey to CN players only, asking if they had warmed up to the idea of playable males, after Mihoyo's efforts on making some more guys playable in Story mode only. Needless to say, the response was negative) There was also a character who had a cameltoe in her design during the beta but it was removed in the official version. No drama, I don't think, but still pretty much no one recieved it well. Kiana's latest battlesuit charge attack got cancelled bc CN players found it inappropriate/insulting. It was literally just her stretching and yawning while freezing time before striking.
Yea, as a global honkai player, when the genshin anniversary happened, I actually understood why Mihoyo barely did anything, even though it still sucked that they barely did anything at all. I understood that the company was sort of still freaked out about the bunny girl incident, and they didn’t want a repeat, so they just played really, really safe, which led to a different incident with genshin’s first anniversary. The bunny girl incident, is also probably one of, if not the reason Mihoyo did the whole rebrand thing, Hoyoverse.
While I enjoy this video from an entertainment perspective, it needs to be said that the bunny girl incident is way more complicated than just salty CN players complaining. The main takeaway and life lesson in general is that when there is an outrage and people getting mad, it is easy to generalize them, but usually there are multiple reasons why they are doing so. No group is completely unified. In the case of the bunny girl event: Yes there was dissatisfaction from CN side, since this was a Global only event. (Global and CN does not have the same anniversary in Honkai Impact and they are on different versions) However, at first Mihoyo was ready to wheather the storm and ignore the complains (like how they weathered the genshin first anniversary). If it gets too bad then they compensate CN. Things got real when the patriots appeared who claimed that the front girl, Fu Hua being dressed in a bunny outfit is misrepresenting China. (Minor spoiler warning) Fu Hua is basically like Zhongli for Honkai Impact 3rd. She is "the protector of China" and revered by CN players as an actual pseudo goddess/symbol of the nation. So the REAL problem that got the event scrapped, the videos taken down, the DMCA crusade, the unfair compensation sent etc... was that the representative of China was dressed up as a slave for the west. This is unfortunately a big enough reason for Da Wei to fear (not some random knife boy) but the CCP itself coming down on his ass for being "not patriotic enough" which is an actual crime in China. See the Alibaba's billionaire CEO disappearing after talking talking about how "China does things in a worse way than America". So the whole incident started as pathetic crying and then went 0-1000 real quick, promting Da Wei to scrap the whole thing in order to preserve himself and the company. This made the bunny girl event the first and last in Mihoyo's history where the global audience was favored more than CN. Also, some time after this incident Da Wei joined the CCP to hopefully prevent things like this from happening in the future.
In other worlds, china being a little baby for the 542148th time. They are the most offensive and racist to other communities but get triggered when someone does the same to them.
I feel sorry for the artist that sang the song for the global anniversary. Imagine working so hard and releasing a song for a game just for it to be removed by a loud vocal minority of toxic cn players. Not only did they change the design of the yae sakura stigmata but also the compensation was trash. I stopped seeing hoyo in a good light ever since.
The Azur Lane community caught wind of this exact incident, and begged one of Yostar's known people, Intern-kun to have bunny girls implemented onto the game. One AL fan on Twitter: "I just want to say that we all in the community would absolutely love a bunny girl event in Azur Lane @InternKun" Intern-Kun: "Ok" This eventually led to Yostar releasing their very first batch of the bunny-girl skins for sale in the game, with the American-themed event Mirror Involution featuring America's first Ultra Rare battleship New Jersey. She and the rest of the Americans that came along with her banner each has their own bunny girl skins.
A few years have already passed, and the game has already pumped quite a number of bunnygirl skins that are mainly American shipgirls, but the Japanese, German, and French shipgirls are starting to join in on the party as well. The last bunnygirl of 2023 was in the Light-Chasing Sea of Stars event, yet another American event. USS Guam CB-2 incorporating American bunnygirl and futuristic riggings simultaneously
Azur Lane players are too degen to even care, lol... Irony enough, Azur Lane is red zone of China government since long ago (lewd outfit, Japanese culture, Japanese WWII history, etc), instead of back down like Mihoyo, they double down or even triple down.
@@Quadrolithium They won't stop. They even got the bunnygirl New Jersey literally as marketable figurine. Whether it be Nenodroid or a literal 1/4 sculpture.
Now I know why Genshin Impact is so reluctant/slow with releasing skins. Especially when they could easily milk bikini costumes for characters like Raiden Shogun, Yoimiya etc
It also kinda make sense as to why they are very cautious with just about everything in GI, from free stuff to special event stuff to bubbling characters buts while they swim, and why they seem stingy at times. They have literally had innocuous stuff bite them in the ass because there are way too many people emotionally invested in pixels.
nah, the devvs have made it clear that they only release skins with lore behind them. each skin needs to have a reason to exist. hence why they are releasing few skins
this wasn't the first time someone had such intent just for a game item(s), but hey, that's how some "hardcore" gamers are, getting frustrated over pixels
You missed something, I was playing hi3 arround when that was happening, there was this yea Sakura ( artifact) that u could obtain during the event that was wearing a bunny girl suit the ( artifacts ) in this game or rather stigmatas are modeled after actual characters and this was an event exclusive one that was wearing a bunny suit, mihoyo during this entire fiasco posted that they will be changing the stigmata ( artifact ) appearance and that also caused a massive outbreak 😂😅
There's a line I encountered a long while back then: "Better to stop what would accumulate the plague than to expose the damage that has been done" so I think that move they did is similar to this. I could be wrong. I joined HI3 during 2022 so this is the first time I heard about such incident here, therefore my reference could be false
about what you said about sneaking into Ubisoft Paris at 14:00, you wouldnt believe how easy it is to sneak into that building. I ate breakfast there with employees for a year before anyone questionned why i was there,

worse part is that they kept giving shit ton of free stuff for the chinese server, and the one single time they gave stuff to the rest they cry like babies
It was kind of offhandedly mentioned, but Fischl was indeed put in Honkai Impact 3rd, and is a permanent character in that game. She's also *way* more powerful than in Genshin. Maybe worth a video reviewing it?
@@mikonyx7712 I could have said it better, her abilities are different and way flashier than in Genshin, and just the feel of the attacks themselves in HI3 seems way more powerful and have more weight behind them than in Genshin.

Also, can we just appreciate Myth and Roid, the music band who made the song for Global 3rd Anni, for sticking with Mihoyo despite the Bunny Girl fiasco. Might I add that downloading the video was tough back then, since mihoyo kept claiming the videos while brave global fans kept uploading them. This went on for a long while and they always created new fresh RU-vid accounts as well. I'm happy that they stopped going after the video at least, but still angry that they changed the in-game stigma art.

The Chinese community is why _HI3_ has no male playable characters in the main roster. Yes, there's Adam, but he's restricted to APHO. The Chinese response to "would you want any Knights added to the Valkyrie roster?" is another reason Mihoyo listens _very_ closely to their Chinese players. Which can be unfortunate for the rest of us. BTW, the _Evangelion_ collab is a completely separate matter: Mihoyo got the license for that with the promise there would never be any reruns. Those of us who joined after can never unlock Asuka or any of the related costumes, and we certainly cannot play through the event story.
After all this sh!t I can kinda understand why now miHoYo is so cautious with their content in Genshin which has a lot of players. One wrong move and you have angry fanboys on your door step or even worse THE CCP itself.
That moment when you realize the actual toxic part of the Genshin community is the Honkai 3rd Chinese community who proliferated outside of their place.

@@gokuswanson2037 Oh "Honkai Impact 3rd" isn't necessarily a 3rd version or a sequel or anything. It's just that (from my knowledge, but you should probably confirm) it's in game that it's the 3rd world being affected by honkai. The other games that Hoyo made before HI3 no longer have servers up (again, to my knowledge) and it's hard to compare it, Genshin Impact, and Honkai Star Rail with each other. None of them are really connected to one another, so it comes down to your preference. Do you prefer super traditional gacha games? HI3 might be the one for you. Do you like open world games? Genshin's is honestly one of the best and something you can sink your teeth into for awhile. Do you like something in between traditional gacha and innovation? Then Star Rail can be a very good and easy blend. Alternatively, if you don't like to deal with powercreep, it would be best to avoid HI3. Whats annoying to me about this incident is: even tho I wasn't playing honkai yet, my friend was playing and I got to see it all go down in real time and I didn't understand it. Fast forward to now and while the reaction still doesn't make sense, from later incidents I have gotten to witness first hand, I've realized that if global players complain about something we get shut down or ignored but If chinese players complain about even the smallest things, or throw a tantrum over stupid shit, they'll get rewarded for it.
Not only that, The bunny girl video was actually reported to the officials inC China by A LOT of parents, saying it influenced their kids and stuff from what I know. It one of the reason they took it off too

Also I heard that the bunny girl incident reach the Chinese government ears because That one salty guy reported the game to the Feminist organization as well so they also got attacked heavily because as you said for Chinese bunny girl outfit represents prostitution…and Seele was in there as well (she’s 14 at that point of story) so they probably attacked them for sexualizing children (albeit a fictional one) So Mihoyo got attacked by both conservatives (the govt.) and the woke freaks (feminists) at the same time because of a few salty Chinese players
kinda crazy knowing 13 year olds and younger is pretty common in prostituting if you look up the sites. but hey feminist giving a damn that's not themselves is a blessing
As a Chinese player I must say that this is 100% correct, both the video and the comments. Chinese game community can get really toxic, like, they can argue the tiniest things. Maybe some other big companies in china (like Tencent or netease) bought the comments to hate on honkai impact 3rd, but I remember that I experienced the whole process at that time and saw people gloated at the game and the amount of hatred people have for strangers, god damn It makes me feel that twitter is a friendly place ngl
At the minute hi3rd was out I played this game (bcs im was a honkai 2player) and this incident was really shocking for me. People spammed prostitue and wh*re on the chat and I realized that these people are just crazy, so I quit and never returned because the community is so toxic
