Hi Belinda, I would like to know your thoughts on using neem extract as a preservative? A friend of mine uses a product that contains no preservative but neem leaf extract as the first ingredient and it concerned me but he said that neem works as a preservative. It seems too good to be true to me.

Make sure to discuss with the Cosmetic Chemist you would like to work with and ensure that he/she has experience in formulating this type of product. Look for their qualification, you should work with a qualified Cosmetic Chemist.
