After 15 years of trying real estate, textiles, and import/export and not having much success, I landed in agriculture. I have a similar story of spending many years abroad. I am form the middle belt of Nigeria, Benue State. I can confirm that agriculture is the way to go. I was and structural engineer in North America and it was fine, but nothing like giving jobs to my people and watching us grow. I've been following Maya since he was in China and I can say this young man is the truth. We are blessed to have young people like him.

Our parents didn’t tell us that there is money in agriculture simply because few decades ago, most of our food was imported. However, technology has opened up the eyes of African people who just realized that Africa possesses the most fertile land on earth and agriculture is a very lucrative business. When we see the likes of Bill Gates, Jeff Bezo, Dangote, etc, are buying lands and investing massively in agriculture, it’s not rocket science to realize that there is so much money in agriculture. In addition, the Ukrainian/Russian war has depicted the importance of agriculture. Ukraine is one of the biggest producer of wheat and fertilizer in the world. That war has impacted not only the price of oil but also agriculture products.

Hi Bro. Maya, I sent a message asking of the phone number of the Man who gifted you the land at Volta. I've wanted to ask him if he can produce Yams for me to buy for export. Since he has that vast land and serious to do farming. I already export Yams to South Africa, but the quality of Yams these days are not the best. Full of chemicals and it doesn't last long. So I believe he can produce for me to buy with a lesser chemical application.

Thank you. I can't eat the corn here in Europe, I am allergic, yet I ate the corn my mom use to plant back in Jamaica and I could live off it. It is best to eat your own food, foreign food will shorten your life. The soil lacks nutrition here so much it's frightening.
