If I’m not wrong, your Caliburn’s primary colour is black, and your secondary is purple. While on the website the have it opposite, that might be something to lookout for. Edit: Has been fixed now so there’s no problem :)

@@valleyguns2288 still impressive for that platform and that price. If you're out in certain conditions you'd 100% have to adjust for wind and other elements. But, for a nerf blaster? It definitely works.
I fear no blaster, but that ‘thing’ ..... it scares me. If you brought that caliburn and those darts to my war man, you be keeping everyone’s head down in pure fear lol. Great vid as always mate 😎🤙
Fantastic video! It is refreshing to see such a direct response to the question of Nerf blaster accuracy. I have plenty of non-Nerfing friends who smirk at the idea that Nerf blasters are capable of utilizing the same basic principles and methods used in rifle marksmanship. And you have demonstrated that at 30 meters, the blaster can, on average, hit a target the size of a torso or even a head of lettuce at that distance. I admit, I was initially concerned about the wind leading to poor results and thus negative conclusions about their accuracy potential. But given your results, I would argue that the obvious presence of wind only further solidifies the conclusion of your results! If the blaster can shoot with such a group through gusts that are moving tree limbs, imagine how precise they could be without! Your clearly presented and articulate videos are doing those of us within the hobby a great service!
When I saw the weather forecast my first thought was to put off the video, but then I decided it would be representative of worst-case real world conditions so proceeded regardless. Glad you enjoyed the video!
Sometimes I forget the southern hemisphere has opposite seasons. I saw what looked to be a trench coat shadow and thought, "Damn... He must be sweating bullets" 😂 Great video as always man! I almost skipped through the firing part but listening to each of those darts whizz by was just too satisfying!!!
i was just thinking about how he took what looks pretty damn similar to an ar15 from a distance and fired a bunch of shots down his street then walked three blocks wearing a gopro and pushing some weird wheel with a screen
That is a wonderfully smooth camera. Is it a gopro? I'm dead impressed that pretty much all of those shots connected with the bin. I'm not surprised that I kept on getting hit at range at BoB last year! Thanks for your time in recording and editing ^_^
Hey mate, so the shots with my Go Pro Hero 5 Session have been stabilised using software called Reel Steady Go. Justin from MTB introduced me to it. The higher quality shots are from my DSLR using a slider.
@@BradleyPhillipsYT It's buttery smooth! I never used to appreciate that sort of stuff, but a friend of mine talked me through what he did and why, so I notice it now. It looks awesome!
@@huhrawz if you saw the original footage of that part it looked so shakey. I was holding the Go Pro in my hand attached to the helmet. Reel Steady Go has really smoothed it out.
Love how the darts fizz loudly as they fly through the air. Nothing gets a player to duck into cover like hearing that fizzing noise right next to their ear and feeling the pressure wave pass by their head.
It's hard to say accurately how windy it was, but personally I would have preferred you firing with as little windage affecting you as possible. That being said, I am thoroughly impressed by the sheer accuracy both rounds displayed in spite of the perceived wind. Never paid much heed to people actually firing nerf guns stronger than maybe 100-150fps. Seeing those rounds going at a velocity equivalent to lower powered airsoft guns (Tokyo Marui or a bit stronger comparatively) and hitting those groupings at that distance is mighty impressive. Definitely an interesting watch. Keep up the good work mate!
Glad you enjoyed the video. While the wind does skew the results a little, there's also the thought that it makes it more realistic to what you could expect in an actual skirmish, possibly even as a worst case scenario as it was very windy.
Thanks to your videos I have just purchased your caliburn from frontline foam. I'm a 50 + year old in newcastle nsw. Now I need to find like minded adults with a kids heart to play. Thanks for your vids
I was curious and thought I'd come here for a good laugh, then the bin cam happened and those darts don't mess around. That thing is pretty darn accurate at 100feet.
This is my new favorite video to share to people who know nothing about the NIC I think the laser rangefinder would be more accurate than the measuring wheel though
Wow that’s actually really impressive. The device on the barrel to make the darts spin is genius. If I remember correctly many of my nerf guns had grooved barrels but the grooves were straight, not sure why they didn’t spiral them. Great video!
The grooves are just for looks, a nerf barrel has a larger diameter than the dart. The dart should never be touching the barrel in a regular nerf blaster
This guy: A good dart blaster should never miss at 30 meters Hasbro Nerf Guns: Yay I hit my 10 meter shot with my 50 dollar sniper 1 time out of the mag!!!
whoa, that caliburn is super impressive. nerf guns have gone a long way, never ever considered them being able to mount proper optics or reach such power.
Ya know you can get something that shoots at 150 FPS for 50 dollars at Walmart, It's called the adventure Force Nexus pro Also check out some reviews of the Nexus pro
I've been loving the s*&^ out of mine. If You go any heavier on the spring you'll need the worker bolt sled or need to beef up the stock one some how....even tho jet says the stock one can handle a 14kg spring I've found this NOT to be the case. Oh and go ahead and order a different pump grip the stock one is way too slippery. I got the foam technician one and its awesome. @@nissiendoesyoutube6333
Your accuracy test is actually a precision test. Accuracy is the ability to hit the target, precision is the spread. Since you centered both spreads on the same point in post. They are equally accurate, but differ in precision.
Thanks for the clarification there. I used the term accuracy because more people would understand that it's referring to shooting and hitting, where as precision has multiple definitions such as how good the tolerances are of parts, etc.
Great video - as usual. To be able to vicariously watch helps as we are all 'shut in.' Just a side note - I was shocked at the huge price leap for the Quikdarts outside of the USA. Here it's $9/100 Europe it's around $18.50/100.
@@iBert0 Yeah no problem bro. I totally get it, there's nothing wrong with playing with nerf, heck I play with toy guns (airsoft) all the time, there's nothing wrong that.
Bradley Phillips thank you so much I just got back into the hobby and wanted to have a good blaster for wars and you are one of my go to nerfers because of your technical approach (I love numbers) and I think that good budget blasters could make a good video both for starting nerfers and experienced ones
For all kinds of nerf and even with the gel ball I prefer a 1x red dot sight. Your max range is only 70m so there's no real point to going magnified, it just slows you down.
Hi mate, Ive just started getting into the hobby and Ive just ordered that caliburn. I was just wondering if you could send me an amazon link to any good scope that works with the caliburn. Thanks.
What kind of spring do you use for the caliburn? I saw one for sale online but the seller claims it’s shooting oh s 80-100 FPS. Another great video, Thanks
@@BradleyPhillipsYT Me currently stucked in Malaysia because of Covid, hopefully can go back to Melb by September :( ...overhere and Melbourne cant even play Airsoft...its illegal..so sad. Maybe need to move to Brisbane I think LOL ...I wish they allowed Airsoft in Melb
