This was the ultimate MTV anthem from a lost time when America was full of confidence and blockbusters truly were huge and America truly did rule the earth politically, culturally, everything. As a Brit, half of my cultural content was American. 9/11 changed everything They smashed it all that day and what’s left is still forming and honestly, much smaller and quite dark as well.
