There are three class: Business class, economy class, and baggage class where people like me who cannot afford the ticket will be thrown in the luggage compartment.

Y'all should completely redesign the cabin so each passenger has like a coffin-like area to sleep in. Obviously not as claustrophobic as a coffin but you can cram more passengers into a plane and the passengers are more comfortable. Win. Win

I flew delta for the first time , for my birthday this month , & they’ve won me over .. whoah , the difference quality engineering w/ comfort in mind makes !

As a regular size Asian male (178& 5’11) , I found myself barely fit Delta Economy seat since 2019. Thank for the innovation Delta..... Now I choose Alaska and AA .

The honest title of this should be “How airlines stuff as many people as they can in one airplane”. The fact that the leg room in most economy class planes is less than my local bus tells you something.

You should update or upgrade your planes to half seats and create more room. People now are exposed to higher stress and higher anxiety levels. If you want to succeed in the near future and lure more customers, you must reduce number of seats and make it look more roomy!!

As a disabled person I really appreciate the wider aisles. It's a real problem getting to seats when the aisle is just an inch or two too narrow. My crutches get caught on the legs of the seats lining the aisle. It's a hassle for me and every poor soul I bang into. Sorry lady in 28C, I didn't mean to whack you with a metal crutch.

Fun fact: my country is so small they dont bother to schedule planes with 3 seat rows here. So its a skinny legend plane

Delta is my fav budget airline, its like the polar opposite of united which provides no room at all

I flew first class from Philadephia to Honolulu in one of the new 777’s and it was amazing the seats were heated, cooled, massaged, and they turned into beds it made the 11 hour flight bearable and I think it was definitely worth the price

I used to reconfigure, refuel and wash DOE airplanes at Ross Aviation. Tested for A&P and the practical was taken next door at Robertson Aviation.

Actually.. you got economy wrong, their mindset is actually “Let’s fit the most seats as possible offer them window seats, then seat them next to a wall with a small view of their neighbors window. Or half the window.

I love flying on planes, it's so exciting!

I have a fix for those that don't like the middle seat: just get rid of it. No, no... hear me out. Being the one stuck in the middle seat means that you have to say excuse me every single time you get up to hit the John, and every time you come back to your seat. it gets annoying for other passengers as well, to the point where if you keep it up they'll wanna (how should i put this subliminally?) make your sleep long and comfortable. Removing that seat ensures that no one gets stuck in either predicament. There's no reason to get up out of YOUR seat so the middle passenger can get in/out if there's NO MIDDLE SEAT TO BEGIN WITH!!!!!!!!!!!! I know what you're all gonna say "How's the plane gonna accommodate for 240 passengers?" Well that's easy as well... YOU DON'T!!!!!!!! But that's a good thing, because if removing a few mere pounds of cable can relate to less fuel consumption, and reduce cost, just think of how much you would save with at least 4 pounds less mass + the added weight of the seat missing???? It also means more savings for travelers as they don't have to pay the extra fees. It also creates more overall leg room for the passengers and the crew. which would also equate to the fixing the similar issue of having to say excuse me every time you wanna get in/out of the window seat was well. "but i like the window seat" I'm sure you do, but it doesn't mean you should be left trapped up against the window, at the mercy of the... hard working passenger next to you - you know, the one who sounds like he's working the construction site? 😴😴😴😴😴 Without the middle seat, that leaves more room to bring the outer seats in so that the window seaters can just get up and go without disturbing the wood worker next to them. IT'S WIN-WIN!!!!!!! And besides, who the hell wants to be crammed in a tube with 238 other passengers??????? With my idea, you have less available seats for passengers, but at least everyone can just get up without disturbing their neighbor, and no one has to feel smashed into a sardine can, either. IT'S WIN-WIN BABY The irony is I'm scared shitless of heights and refuse to even fly in the first place, and this is MY idea?????? WHAT??¿??????????

As someone who's 6' 2" I now drive everywhere unless I have to go overseas. The comfort is worth the added time. I'm not rewarding these companies with my business that require me to fit into a seat sized for children.

US carriers' business class can't even compare to the luxury offered onboard the airlines in Asia like Singapore, Emirates, Qatar, Cathay Pacific, Thai and the list goes on.

I always choose comfort+. It seems as though these seats are inching closer and closer to each other. Pay extra for more room and maybe a bag of chips. However, I've found American has more legroom in their version, especially on the 787.

I think that everyone involved in the design of aircraft interiors should be required to fly coach/main cabin whenever they fly so that they can experience what most customers experience. I am 6'2" and I'm fortunate that I don't have to fly much but when I do I fly First Class so I'm not jammed in behind someone else.

I wish they spent some time talkning about how they design seats for disabled passengers. As a disabled person who relies on mobility aids to get around, I want to know what thought went into my potential seat.

Those Engineers think everyone is under 5'9". I'm 6'3" and I hate flying and I'm sore after flying across the US.

another issue is storage, each storage bin should have seat numbers on it.

Pro tip: Board the plane knowing it's going to suck. Really visualize it sucking. Then, if it sucks a little less than you thought it would, bonus. People act like a few hours of discomfort is the end of the world.

Remeber, business class makes more than economy, but economy is usually 60% or more of the space. They would love to just have business class. The only way to make it cheaper to fly, is smaller seats and weight
