Too many hours and too much time away from your family. Great if you're young and single with no responsibilities. Great way to get a head start in life.
@@johnwicksdog4399 Alright swap it for the word “simple”. If it were that simple, then everyone would do it, etc Less people doing it = employers have to motivate employees with higher wages (or understaff projects).
I’m a sparky in Perth on the Kwinana strip. I get to go home every night $78 an hour. $3340 a week after tax. It is long hours but it’s temporary. Once I have the house deposit my plan is to step back and go back to a basic 40 hour week.
Thanks to the CFMEU as a casual construction worker for a EBA labour hire company here in Sydney City I am a manitou operator on $59.60 an hour plus $20 casual loading per hour on top , then $5.80 site allowance and then $4.20 productivity allowance p/h and also $65 a day travel which works out to be roughly $90 an hour I'm on for the first 8 hours and then straight double time after that (I do 10 hour days) and double time on Saturdays all day ......pull home about 5k a week thanks to the CFMEU 🤟
Another option, try and get into a role as a commerical glazier on the union rates, it's basically the same thing, if your lucky and the company your in with is pumping you can make 3k a week working 50 hrs and you don't need a trade, half the boys are hard workers that learnt in the job, the guys with the skills are installing, if you got half a clue and pay attention your good
It sounds like a lot when he says I can make 3-4k a week, but remember that’s only working 2 weeks a month. So he’s really making 1500-2000 bi weekly . Which don’t get me wrong it’s okay money. But it’s not as if he’s Making 17k a month
You don't get time and a half or double time for mining bro, the money comes from hours worked so like entry level at $35+ an hour and 168 hours which is 14 days at 12 hour shifts is pretty much $4200 a fortnight and if you have a trade it could possibly even double depending on what company and experience you have. Good luck mate 🤘
Maybe 2300 if you can actually get on a tunnel or rail job and working in the mines is 24hr days especially if you got kids that’s why the pays high. I reckon do a trade start your own show and easily turn over 3-400k a year or load up on bitcoin
I’m a big fan and not tryna debate. But that’s the starting rate under any industry that’s with the union cmfeu, I now I earn $2800 a week 8hours as a foreman Formworker over time will hit $3200 also have a petrol card an company car. There’s alot of opportunities in Sydney but I guess you gota know people. But hope all is good Tommy if u ever need any connections in Sydney lmk I’ll hook you up. Especially if it’s Tommy the cowboy everyone loves here in the industry maddest cunt
Shutdowns paid good 👍 You have to have a understanding family for the coin you get💪 but it's better then jail or get rich quick scames. Love your vids 👍
@@tommythecowboy Ive been in Mackay for 3 yrs with a small family kids and wife born and raised here myself Canadian. I called mastermyne to get in as a clean skin . I have a few references for my resume that work underground but they don’t have anything as of right now as far as clean skin training , hopeful for the future though. Hi guys I’m an excavator operator from the uk England I really wanna bring my family down under what kind of money can I expect to make on them ? Also can anyone please tell me how the 2/1 3/1 7/7 situations work money wise Any help would be so appreciated 👊
I no probs 50 ppl that wrked in mine, not one of them did anything gd with there money .. also talk about how u dont get paid on ur time off .. .. Expect to travel to the mine on your time Off, could take a complete day, unpaid.. .. You can finish your roster and they're not be a Flight until the following morning.. So now uve wasted one of your days off, on camp.. And we haven't started to talk about the suicide right of fifo workers, talk about that bro.. You dont need to live away from ur wife an family to survive in life.. Mines r putrid .. I wrk on tower cranes , I earn 3.5 k a week take home an c my family everyday.. ... Mines are not the answer. Gd way to end up divorced ...than lose half ur shit in a divorce. Witch in turn makes none of it worth it..
Interesting opinion mate and I respect it. I don’t have all the answers to all the points you made brother and there are definitely a lot of things to consider when choosing this life and this industry. There are many reasons why someone may or may not choose to work away, wether it be FIFO or DIDO or BIBO but ultimately it has to work and suit you, your family and your circumstances. I always try my best to make a point of knowing all the risks and challenges that come with this life and all the points you have brought up are valid. I’m not going to measure sticks with you mate in terms of take home pays etc but what I will say is what I earn is enough to provide a comfortable and joyful life for my wife and kids. I’m able to give my kids a life that I only ever dreamed of and for me this is the only way I know how. It may seem strange to you and others but where I am now is a long way from where I was and could have ended up. At the end of the day brother I have nothing but respect for your views and opinions and wish you and your family the best. I respect any Man that works hard to provide for their family whatever field they are in. All the best and God Bless, Tommy
@tommythecowboy818 Fair enough , if u live where there is no work available. Then I guess you have no choice, But if there is work available, my Kids would rather a dad home with less money ,Then a dad with lots of money at the expense of having a dad only 50% of the time, There's. No point tommy being able to buy my kids the best push bike for sale. But having no dad there to push them on it, cuz he busy at the mines. Full respect cuz. Just my opinion Cheers tommy. Love ya videos man
Its not mate. Crypto is BS. You can make a fortune investing in growing businesses (shares) or if you dont have the stomach to ride out booms and busts stick with property - high yield or capital growth.
@@lachlanbrown409 It's not? Bitcoin went from 1cent to 64K today. It's literally, factually the best performing asset ever. That's not a debate, it's fact. Ethereum is another one, it's 100X outperformed the stock market. Solana another one. The list goes on and on.. If you've had a bad experience in crypto that is what it is but if you know what you're doing and time it right the returns are unmatched. Property is a good investment but it's slow. How much are you making on a house over 10 years? Double your money max. Crypto you can 10X your money in 2 months. Again, timed right and with knowledge on what to invest in.
