Hopefully, whatever happened, will not impact team chemistry. Saturday will be interesting. As to the TE position, Shamar Easter was a consensus 4* as a recruit. Go Hogs.
Hitting many targets by T. Green is a new thing. TE's have benifited with few Td's. Leaving the team at this moment is'nt the best option unless necessary.
Ty Washington refused to go into the game at the end of the MSU game, that's why he was kicked off the team. Not sure about Gums. Watch the High on the Hog Podcast for details.
Ty left because a family member is on their deathbed, and he said he's mentally destroyed. He told the coach he didn't want to play against Miss State and kicked him off the team.
No offense. Saying that right off. Several things. 1. A coach wouldn't get rid of a player that is playing for his team unless there are some internal issues. Most of the time it's that player breaking team rules and is usually either a major situation or he has done it multiple times. 2. Coaches are not aloud to tell the public about those things that are not public dealing with an athlete unless authorized by the AD and/or other top administrators. To me in this situation it's common sense. And if a coach is not being specific about what happened.....Something serious happened and as you say, more to the story than just not being on the team. I will bet my bottom dollar they were excused or kicked off the team. Coaches may say they were asked to leave. All of it amounts to the same thing. Again, coaches are not going to get rid of players that are playing right now unless there is a serious problem. Without discipline you will never have any team chemistry. Rather it's a highly rated recruit or an athlete currently on the team.
hare to see Washington leave he has a lot of potential.gumms has been a big disappointment and probably was going to hit the portal anyway after season.rules are rules
That is a good question. Easter is a superior athlete. I think the jump from Ashdown to Arkansas has proven to be harder than he expected and put him in a shell. NOW, he has an opportunity to make a difference this and in years to come.
This is the dark side of the NIL era. Team is not a important as me to too many players. So, it is not important how it happened, but it is directly linked to Gumms and Washington putting themselves before the team.
It’s a prediction my guy, they are more often than not wrong cause well turns out that’s it’s hard to tell the future. If you took what he or anyone else said pre season as fact that is on you sir.
How is this post related to dismissing two players? You must not be living in the NIL era. It is ALL me first in a period where you can quit and transfer multiple times without ANY penalty.
Constantly? Other than last year, that's never happened with Pittman. And from I'm told, the locker room is more together than ever. Guys want to play and when they don't, some handle it maturely and some handle it immaturely.
