I bet auto buy is a whole lot worse when playing a flank or dps or even tank, over a support. Even the game seems to realize you are not a damage dealer, which is nice
I haven't played paladins in a month and im on ps4 and this vid reminded me of the PAIN of the auto purchase constantly auto enabling every time I open paladins F in the replies for ps4 players
Do the one hour special dedicated to all the "non meta champions" so grohk, pip, skye, moji, talus, lex, torvald, khan, ruckus, imani?, I dunno about damages dont play much.
@@n0ies Ruckus and Khan are in pros a lot, but Ruckus isn’t that good, I am actually a Ruckus main, highest champ, but there are a lot tanks you should be playing over him. Khan is gonna be meta, I agree. Skye is really good, and so is Lex.
@@triple-touchdown-master2770 I'm learning to play Ruckus more and more and I always play him as an offtank/flanker. He is supergood when played right and is so annoying since he can deal lots of damage, has good movement with aerial assault (which is the best talent) and he has a large health pool. As if that was enough he has a shield aswell. There is no surprise he is played quite a bit in the higher tiers.
@@n0ies I’ve been playing him for a while, I’m level 62 with him, and it would be a rarity for me to play him on a map not named Brightmarsh, Warders Gate, and Ascnesion peak however. He is very good, but he’s not hard to counter, that’s why he’s not in meta
1 - Right-Click Paladins from your Steam library and click “Properties”. 2 - Click “Local Files” tab and click “Browse Local Files.” 3 - An Explorer window will pop-up. Got to ChaosGame-Config then open “DefaultEngine.ini” file. (full path is Steam\steamapps\common\Paladins\ChaosGame\Config) 4 - Look for “bSmoothFrameRate” then change the value from “TRUE” to “FALSE”. 5 - Save the file.

Frosty I went up against a makoa today who used a half shell type build but used pluck and it worked out really well. Lots of shield reset, shield duration and hook cards working together. Definitely was not possible before the recent changes to Makoa
IM EARLY!! Also auto buy is terrible!! Buys illuminate for flanks even if the enemy team doesn’t have invis characters!! I love you frosty an keep up the entertaining content!
somebody has probably mentioned this already but you might be experiencing more lag than usual because of all those friend requests, some say it helps to clean your friends list out
Also, I think that maybe the people who have it on are newer players who may die a lot more often, so they do not have enough credits to afford useful items, so being cheap, it picks stuff like veteran or bulldozer as nothing else is open
About the hour long special. I'd love to see Soul Collector Seris, Mana Rift Imani and Maelstrom Grohk in some Siege games. Maybe try playing and recording some Ranked games in the hour long special?
What if for the hour long special, you play theme teams? Like characters in a row that correlate to each other in the lore such as lian/khan, vora/io, koga/zhin etc.
Me and my girlfriend both play Paladins on PS4 and there seem to be a bug where the first game of the day, auto buy is on even though the setting is Disable. Is it just me ? Been doing it for a week
The items with auto buy are not the same for every class.For example: Grover buys Nimble and Kill to heal and Furia buys only Chronos.Or Viktor buys Morale boost,Willo Cauterize and Tyra Nimble and Cauterize.
How about in the one hour special you grab a champion who’s main fire is the opposite of the rest of your team? As in, you’re all direct damage, so you pick Evie? Or everyone is blast, so you pick Khan? Just to see if you can get them to buy Haven/Blast Shields even though you’re the only one with that fire. That might be interesting :o
PS4 experience is so poor atm, autopurchase and game tips enable on their own everytime I reboot and also I get annoying flickering while loading matches
The last match was against Ladji. He plays stacked with the grover and andro (not sure if nessa too) cos he cant do so in ranked. Nessa probably was hated by his/her mother. Sad life.

Rip console in general for Auto-Buy. Used to work when you disabled it, now everytime we boot the game it turns back on until you turn it off in match.
Frost, could you do more a strategic commentary when you’re playing? Like, why you’re choosing this one champ over another, why you’re going to the part of the map at a specific point and time, etc?? I’ve been watching the PPC and they make comments like “of course xxx is gonna happen/be chosen” but I want to understand why. Trying to learn and get better! Also, if you do a special, can you give us a heads up?
I think Furia should be able to heal in her solar blessing when it hits another player. because half the time I use it, it skims a teammates heal, it stops, and the teammate just walks out of it without it doing a thing! I need to get some value out of it!😭
wow they improved auto-buy item picks lololol I remember back in beta I used to get stuff like wrecker when the enemies had no shields, and other bad picks like that.
