@@danielawesome36 the funny thing is that in one of the movies, "The Dark Knight Returns 2", Green Arrow only has one arm. It didn't stop him from shooting arrows, although it did slow him down quite a bit.
Batman actually is aware of his weaknesses and have made a recording of himself in case the other justice leage members need his help in defeating him. He said it would be best to distract him, like with taking a hostage that is his family or friend, or exploiting his endless crusade of helping the weak and innocent.
Yeah but thats not really anything to work with.... because if they needed to stop batman...you would think that he wouldnt care about the weak or his family anymore.
Wtf… we are talking about batman going nuts or brainwashed and going for domination yet he thinks evil batman would still care about alfred or smth lol silly
I like the school of thought that it's not that Batman doesn't view Green Arrow as a threat to have a plan against (besides breaking an arm), it's that he can't conceive of a situation where GA would become morally compromised. He'll never turn bad. That he wouldn't even be a security threat if brainwashed because he's too sociable (can you picture him walking through the halls of the Justice League *without* flagging down somebody to talk to, or flirting with a super powered lady'ma'am?), somebody would notice something wrong _immediately!_ High praise, honestly
I wouldn't be surprised if Bruce had contingency plans for those plans for defeating himself and his friends. He's the type of guy who has backup plans for his backup plans.
tbf Batman has all human weaknesses, but no specific one (except maybe trauma) but one of is greatest strength is his focused mind. One like scarecrow, joker or ivy could wipe the league given the means, but batman has demonstrated a resistance against mind altering effects and proficiency in making antidotes
Batman actually does have a contingency for himself that isn't just relying on the rest of the Justice League. He has a robot that was designed to outmatch him in every way that combs through news 24/7 looking for signs that Batman has killed someone or gone rogue in any way. It's named Failsafe, and in some alternate universe The Penguin tricks Batman into a situation where it looks like he killed him, leading to Failsafe activating and stopping at nothing to kill Batman, even going as far as to kill several other members of the Justice League, including Superman, and does eventually kill Batman
@@freedomenthusiast3301 id say take the clown out first since in the moment the jokers almost never doing anything good and batman has had many chances too no matter how many people the joker kill, and after killing the clown which should be easy, then think about killing the gods 😂
I personally feel the only reason batman didnt make a plan for green arrow is not just because them both being human means he has a 50/50 chance of winning vs losing against him but because he also see him as one of the ppl he’ll always have as a teammate he doesnt really need to worry about the guy with a similar backstory turning to the dark side they’re more likely to be at the apocalypse end together before they end up as enemies
@@Jawzah Or you watched one of his contingency plan videos that is around here on YT. That's what i did and well, the Nr. 1 wasn't so much surprising anymore. :) Also: Batman's greatest weapons aren't his gadgets. It is his superior and analysing intellect plus his readyness to do what has to be done IF one ore more League Member goes renegade
@@Anthyrion The Licensing Letter listed Marvel's Spider-Man global retail sales at $1.3 billion and Avengers at $325 million in 2013, compared with DC's Batman at $494 million and Superman at $277 million. www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/superhero-earns-13-billion-a-748281 So batman is most popular out of DC heroes .. I'd list Martian Manhunter at highest threat level if "goes rogue".. Well flash is silly powerful of course too and superman would be if not for well known weaknesses and such. And sure BAtman himself is truly a threat to be taken seriously.. AS the video pointed out his mental state is questionable and he is quite resourceful - and has near superpower level of tenacity and willpower - neer gives up + cannot be killed of in mainstream DC universe = Batman "wins" always.
But MArtian Mahnuter.. HE cannot be killed of awith a flamewthower or anything let alone be depowered by simple red-wavelength spotlight (like superman).. He has "Pyrophobia" would freak out if tricked to feel/believe to be on fire.. He also has telepathy.. :O
@@needstoast Oli has a super high kill count is one of the best fighters in the world and has the league of assassins at his beck and call. that's just cinematic and batman should still make a plan
I think out of every member of the League that Bruce had a plan for and why Green Arrow never did was do to Green Arrow's incorruptible nature. The dude never turned bad no matter how far south events went. He was truly a selfless individual.
@@lmpuIsee You can't prepare for Batman. It'd be like preparing for a roundhouse kick from Chuck Norris; you know it's coming, you know you're screwed, you know you're dead, and there ain't anything you can do about it.
The Dark Knights metal series is really cool when it comes to showing how an evil Batman would kill the Justice League members. In Batman Red Death, Batman goes mad from losing everyone he cares about and he goes after Flash to steal his abilities and he catches him by killing all of his rogues and stealing their weapons and abilities and shit. In Batman Devastator he injects himself with Doomsday's DNA and he pummels an evil Superman to death, in Batman Drowned the atlanteans attack and she mutates herself to have gills and shit and kills Aquaman by spearing him through the heart with his own trident. Highly recommend it, there are many more Batmen in the Dark Knights Metal comic series
If they ever make a jusice league show they should build up to tower of babale and in one episode have batman interagate flash rouges ask how captain cold could fight the flash and just write that down, barry doesn't know he is takeing his advice. His anti flash plan should be pay the rouges
Love the original 'Tower of Babel' story by Mark Waid - I remember that Batman won Villian of the year in the 'Wizard' magazine year end awards (though they mentioned that that year was pretty lackluster for villians).
And that’s how the narrative works. The modern media are so obsessed with “evil” Superman because the writers never trust that a very powerful being like Clark could be a force for good. That’s why we got Brightburn, Homelander, Plutonian, Omni-Man and Injustice Superman to the point that general audience root for Lex Luthor (a literal villain) and Batman (a backstabber who’s willing to murder his friends but not the Joker).
i wouldn't say that batman is a backstabber. He's surrounded by countless beings with way more raw power than him. Anybody with that amount of power is deemed a threat. in a world where aliens, mins control, etc., are horrifically common, it's completely reasonable to have a plan if anything ever goes wrong.
@@trepapi6539 Did you seriously just ask that lol. Let's see, Batman is more experienced, better trained, is a much better combatant, is way smarter, is richer and has access to better and more resources, is physically superior and is pretty much superior in every category. They have similarities given that they're humans who used their wealth to become superheroes despite not having any powers but that's where the similarities end. In a fight, Batman would demolish Green Arrow and he'd do so very casually.
@@trepapi6539 Don't let the Arrow show fool you, Green Arrow is nowhere near Batman's level. I doubt he's even in the top 20 best combatants in the DC Comics.
@@zl3791 I don't watch the show I was just using their similar formulas for comparison. Batman us a way more popular character which is why he seems more talented but really he just looks cooler. If you check out their Wikipedia pages (i know its not the best source) it will show how similar they are written.
I think the whole situation with Green Arrow is basically a subtle nod saying that the same tactics that would be used on Batman can be used for Green Arrow as well.
I've always thought of it as a mutual agreement between all parties understanding that Batman is as deadly as he is intelligent just as the rest of the Justice League is deadly as they are powerful... except green Arrow
It also bad when it comes from a Literall Amoral Animal that eats people! that's like a Mortal Kombat developer saying "Maybe that's a little too brutal...."
EVERYONE: Batman's super paranoid. ME: If I was surrounded by that many superpowered beings every day and lived in a world were mind control and possession were that easy, I'd be planning for dealing with them too. That ain't paranoia; that's just common sense.
@Lövenge Genesis Stop projecting. I'm not worked up, so I don't need to "calm down". Depending on which iteration of Superman you get, he is capable of splitting a planet with a punch.
@Lövenge Genesis clearly you know jack shit about superman, he could fly to the center of the sun, chill there for a bit, come back and do exactly as suggested. Man can lift INFINITE mass!!! You dont think he can take out a planet???? Come on lmao
7:25 Justice Buster also had world's fastest super computer installed in it which was able to calculate Flash's movements so Batman could land one exact blow on him and knock poor guy out. And small red suns in suit's knuckles. Yes. Don't ask how.

@JAYDEN HERRERA he is smart but that means jack all with people like the flash whose brain is faster than a super computer. He should be able to think of plans that batman have in less than a second The problem with batman is that to make him win, they nerf every hero he fights
@JAYDEN HERRERA I just used 1 example. Plus what you said back don't even focus on what I was saying. I was talking about when the flash fights batman. Either ways I can give a bunch of examples so again the only thing batman have going for him is plot that the writer gives him cause people like that he is human going against these people
"Supes knows Batman has SOMETHING made of kyptonite on him." Uh, my guy... Superman flat out GAVE Batman kryptonite for the sole purpose of being the ONLY one he trusts to take him down if he went rogue.
terrifying fact about Aquaman. The human brain has some similarities to a fish brain, it's not enough that he can control people but he can basically give you a stroke at his whim
Apparently, the Batman Who Laughs taught us that the Justice League does NOT keep their trophies in check. So every confiscated artifact from villains is held 100% functional and loaded in their warehouse. So keeping Batman in check means shit since could easily access those weapons to kill of all the Justice League
so he could permanently cripple super humans and practically gods, some in a very inhumane and cruel way, but can't keep an insane clown in jail or an asylum... ok makes perfect sense
One way to distract Batman is a simulation of which he is constantly solving a case, that’s a bit close to him in which he’ll be so distracted that he might not be able to realize he’s in the sim unless he’s thinking subconsciously
Batman: *has plans to kill each of the members of the Justice League if they ever went rogue* Also Batman: *refuses to kill the Joker, the most dangerous criminal in Gotham City*

I remember reading a comic where the justice league was infected by Joker's toxin and batman used every tool in his disposal just keep himself alive. He came out with broken bones.
Batman is literally so broken. He is a human and literally can beat people with the most overpowered abilities like that's why I love him. And the way his enemies fear him because he isn't afraid to break bones and brutalize them, especially when he goes by a no killing code
People say “Batman is just a dude with a suit who’s rich and can’t beat the Joker” but the truth is Bruce Wayne is dead Batman isn’t the same rich dude he’s fear Batman is vengeance he’s the one everyone fears at the night the people who say Batman is weak and stuff clearly don’t know anything about him

Cause people who write them outside of their comics, has no respect or knowledge of how powerful they really are, so they make them joke characters. Plus doesn’t help that they have to many Green Lanterns from Earth. They were heading in a good direction by making Kyle a White Lantern and Guy a Red Lantern, then they changed them back to Green Lanterns.
Best scene in Justice League: Doom. Right after the league finds out about Batman's plans. Superman: None of us would ever do that to you. Batman: Then, you're damned fools. Me: Well...
The batman who laughed tower of babel one where he goes insane and the other he's mind controlled and he still single handedly kicks the justice league *ss add into his contingency plan is the justice league wonderful plan for my favorite character he seems to miss the small things like he has the plans to take down the league if he ever Turned
@@treycavendish740 But Batman Who Laughs is just one time where it didn't work. There are like 10 to 20 other times when Batman was mind-controlled and was taken down by the Justice League easily. You just gonna ignore those?
@GGR Makes I mean do they really need one for batman I can think of two justice league members that batman alone would have completely no way of winning flash and shazam if either of them really wanted to beat bat's they could do it in a heart beat
Literally everyone has plot amor in comics. Lex has survived even worse shit done to him and no one brings that up ._. Besides does death really mean anything in the DC universe? It's even less of a consequence than Dragon Ball.
I remember in Teen Titans vs the Justice League just before he, superman, and Wonderwoman were about to be possessed by trigon, Batman, the mortal of the three, had enough willpower to stick a knock out serum in his leg to make sure he wouldn’t be possessed and try to kill the titans
Well batman did record these tactics for others to be able to use if he himself can’t. He’s pretty adamant about being a thorn in their side even after death lmao
Other than Simon’s wrestling videos (who is THE SINGLE GREATEST HOST WC has EVER had!), Jules videos are the only WhatCulture videos I can ever watch, anymore.
I mean here Green Arrow, I'll make a quick one for you: "Cut off an arm" There, happy? We've planned for when you try to destroy the worlds with arrows.
I like to think the reason that batman didn't make a plan for green arrow is because he trusted him not to go crazy with power, since he didn't really have one to begin with
Well it was said that the plan to deal with BatMan made by BatMan was this “While he is a great detective, he is only human, his constant need to serve justice is his weakness take hostages especially those close to him, it will cause him to prioritize then over himself letting whoever deal with him”
you should check out the video for the agamemno contingency its awesome its narrated by batman and its exactly this batman describing how he can take down the other members of the JL
plot twist: Bruce's parents were becoming evil and he had a plan to frame their deaths on a random thug and become a buff superhero with their inheritance money if they did become evil.
"If you know yourself and your enemy, you need not fear the result of 100 battles. If you know your enemy yet not yourself, for every victory you also suffer a defeat. If you know not your enemy and yourself, you will never win a battle" -Sun Tzu, "The art of war" (Also sorry if that's not the direct quote I'm copying from memory lol)
The cool thing is that you can look up audio for his contingency plans, where he goes over potential ways to beat a rogue JL member. For Green Arrow, he suggests that immobilizing an arm would be enough to get the upper hand
Batman: Hey cyborg, can you lend me your arm so I can do some improvement to it. Cyborg: Whatever you say, batman. *Take off arm and gives it to batman*
And here's how almost every other member of the JL would kill Batman: just reach out and snap his neck. Batman may need elaborate plans, but no one else does.
