Fantastic work. My only problem is with the coffee 😂. Be sure to watch James Hoffman's guide about making coffee with the French press. After you taste it you will understand why 😁
Maybe a 'cut list' and computer graphic of the assembled project? You guys are young, computer/computer graphics literate enough where your eyes are good and your vision sharp . . . us old guys not so much! Love the videos, your projects and the humor . . . keep up the good work!
I like the build and the fact that you made mistakes but fixed them, inspires me to try too. But the husk knife…it’s not made in Japan, it’s Chinese, made in China, they add Japan because it sells better (it used to be called a Viking knife), it’s made from 18/10 stainless steel, that’s not knife steel it’s pot steel, it is rust and heat resistant but it can’t be tempered, it’s too soft to hold an edge, it will sharpen quickly but because it’s so soft the steel will roll over at the edge before you can get a decent edge, then it will collapse and the edge deform when you go to use it, because it’s the wrong steel for Knives’s. Basically it’s crap. But the chuck box was nice!
I seen someone in vancouver with the brobuilds logo on the back of a hat I was going to say something but i didn't remember where the logo came from. Now I wonder if it was you I seen🤣
So, my problem is weight. I have built 2 chuck boxes. The first was super heavy long before I put anything in it. The second was still too heavy. The second was 18x18x 16 plus removable legs. It weighed in at 23 lbs empty and 47 lbs when full. The first was much bigger and I used mostly 5/8 plywood and the second one I used 1/2 inch plywood. What I want is a chuck box when full only weighs about 30 lbs bu sturdy enough.

This is awesome guys! I actually had my father build basically the exact same design. I have a video about it on my channel. I used melamine for the top flaps so I have a nice work surface as well. Best chuck box I ever had!

I love it, great idea for car camping, or truck camping, or van camping, or…………😂. I would would definitely carry that Husk knife with me if I ever make it out to Yellowstone and do another 100 miles in the back country.
