I am a descendant of the black incorporator Ulysses Grant Bell. I have information about he and his people if the Black Archive Foundation is interested. For starters, he was the son of a Union Soldier and free mulatto seamstress out of Greenville, NC. Ulysses went to Florida with 2 of his brothers General Pain(e) and Ashley Bell. He and one of his brothers worked as barbers and pool guys at the Royal Palm.
