#AskDave A. if only if Pogba leaving, but Ed can bring casemiro/kroos as part the deal.statistcaly which one do you pick? B. Statisticsly, which one is more urgent, New Winger or new striker or new CB ? Cheers from Indonesia.
Bruno can score, assist, has leadership qualities, tracks back to defend, is a set piece specialist.... He can literally do everything. He should be called the Johnny sins of football 🤣
@@StatmanDave absolutely. Dong understand why we arent in for him. I really think he would be insane on our right wing. The pace the control the work rate. I just wish we sign him Also an arsenal fan told me per 90 ozil has created more chances than bruno in premier league since bruno made his debut. I was like no1 bruno is miles better but is that true? He showed me some sqwawka stat
Bjornson The Small DJ at this point is at best a rotation player on either the right or left. For cup games or when we need to rest a forward/winger. He definitely is a crucial part to this team at the moment, but I can assure you that DJ is not in Oles long term plans for a starting lineup. I love James as much as everyone else but he just isn’t a starter at this point in his career. He is great against teams we will be counter attacking and pressing high up the pitch, but he is too inconsistent to be a starting player.
@@IAMLEGIT2323 agree with you man. However ole likes 2 holding midfielders. Wouldn't it be wasteful if pogba sat deep? I think we should change to 1 holding midfielders letting 2 advance?
So we've seen the impact of a proper playmaker which has massively improved our team. Now imagine a proper right wing which has been one of our weaklinks. So my question to you dave is . For next season, how can we become title challengers ? Imo the additions of thomas partey in the holding role will add more steel, energy and mobility into the midfield we've severely lacked . Also with a proper right winger like sancho . Just those alone i believe can help us make a decent challenge. However i dont believe this will be enough as we still have deadwood that needs to be shifted with a few quality acquisitions needing to be made. Thats me kind of answering my own question just wanted to know what you believe would take us to the next level ( even though bruno is starting to ) THANKS! And stay safe 💙
Agree on the need for a specialist right winger. If Pogba goes then we definitely need another creative midfielder as backup and to play in a midfield 3 diamond when at home. I would say we're good for defensive midfielders for another season. Another striker that can play as a lone striker like Ighalo would also be a requirement because i don't like Martial up there on his own.
@@StatmanDave statman manu weakness they don't have an right winger left footed just mata and greenwood remain there Manu should look for someone who has speed and is left foot but James should go the winger for left winger Manu should buy dybala or bale that's my say
Brono as a picture of play, not only a great set piece expert, his flicks and vision is outstanding. This fella is the catalyst for greatness 👍👍👍👍⚽️ Cheers Dave
Fred is box to box, not a natural CDM. I don’t really know if Mctominay is the man for that role long term. I think United still need a natural sitter that would take over from Matic because I feel Mctominay is not really a sitter but more box to box like Fred
@@ebeleobidiegwu5969 We are looking at Denis Zakaria. Partey is a better CDM but Zarkia is better on the ball imo. He is far more creative too so could be an outlet from deep as well as a someone that could break up play. I'd be happy with either of them though
@@HenSt-gz7qj Imagine a midfeild 3 of him Pogba and Bruno with Fred, Matic and Scotty as our backups. We could legit challange espeically if we get Sancho
Any player that's able to do what he did for Sporting would have a place in any team in the world. Bruno is a pleasure to watch, one of the smartest and most hardworking players I've ever seen play with my club's shirt. Gutted he left my club during such hard times but at least Man. United earned a new supporter.
a statman not lost in stats!good insight!..bruno is the iq of scholes, the character of robbo.way he drags everyone around him up a level....."4 or 5 players have the right drive, the rest need pushing, and they DO need pushing"..thats my captain.
Aadhil with that midfield three we will be wide open for counter attack with that midfield three you need one who sits to let the left back and right back go forward almost as a CB to make a back three
Our Midfield looks really strong at the moment with matic and Fred with Bruno ahead of them. Fred is more of the box to box, matic is the discipline defensive midfielder and Bruno is the creative and goalscoring playmaking attacking midfielder. To upgrade in the summer and keep this balance in midfield we need a better Defensive midfielder and box to box Midfielder, for defensive midfielder I'd love Ndidi but Thomas Partey is also great. For the box to box role, pogba can stay or we can replace him with milinkovic savic or doucoure or Ruben Neves or Saul.
Hey Statman Dave great content you have am always eager to watch your videos and excited whenever I get a notification. Just a quick one, could you do a video showing us how Pogba could fit in the new united team. Thanks a lot and continue making great content #GGMU
when we talk about great midfielders, mostly we talk about a technical perfection, but bruno's best quality is his inteligence. he's literally the second coach. thats why he lifted the whole team. some say its a psychological boost,a reaction to a new capable player, nonesense! all his effect can be explained tactically. other players like martial, shaw or fred, their performances havent changed at all,the difference is that now they have tactical support to execute their abillities.
#AksDave I would love to see a full team setup and demonstration if we went all out and bought Mbappe, Sancho, Grealish and Bellingham (and possibly Werner) I feel that if Woodward is looking for a big name goalscorer, Mbappe is the key. Mbappe's best next move is United and there is multiple reasons why. I'd love your thoughts on this. Keep the awesome videos coming.
Seriously, has there ever been such a complete player! More to the point he's consistent with it as well, something the players around him need to learn. Just shows you that performances are definitely more down to the players than the coach.
#AskDave. Thank you for this video. I have seen improvement in Manchester united since the appointment of Ole. In our running stats, clean sheets, goals scored. Yes, we've had inconsistencies in terms of results and beating teams with a low block defense. I have heard many fans want "Ole out" and a coach like "Poch In". However, I'm on the narrative that Ole has done a very good job with the squad his had and he deserves atleast 4-5 transfer windows to bring in atleast 10 players of his own purchases to resemble a squad of his personal DNA. Since his appointment only Pep and Klopp has had more points in the league. Could you do a video highlighting the top 10 positives Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has delivered at Manchester united? Especially for the impatient supporters because a rebuild is not a quick fix
Hi great video. Once pogba is back, how do you think he will feature in our midfield three? I can't help but feel he will disrupt the dynamism we have now with Bruno Fred and mctominay
Hi Statman Dave! Do you think ole can make Bruno fernandes as a supporting striker just behind Tony martial or ighalo? This can possible make ole play pogba at CAM and play fred as the box to box midfielder and matic or scott as the CDM. What do you think?
Dave, how do you think United's midfield would work if noone leaves and noone comes (with Pogba) and everyone is fit to play? Can Pogba and Bruno effectively play together? Then Fred or McTomminay with them? Thanks! @
I'm not sure which is sexier, Brunos class or S man D's gorgeous review?? Bloody lovely and what a signing, Ole can't miss with his transfers! Utd looking hot again thanx to him
Aside from his physical and technical side his other big strength is mental he knows he is good and tries to prove that every time he gets out on the pitch whatever the opposition.
@@StatmanDave we don't pray so bro, pls stay safe and healthy we still love you, or better still I have an unoccupied room in my house back here in Africa, the safest continent so far.
@@iwantgoals1566 That's true, there is a bigger abundance of portuguese players in the prem than in any other top5 league. But a lot of that is due to wolves tbf
Haywood Jablowme Yeah that’s true but even going back there’s players like Ronaldo, Nani and Anderson that have done well in the league and a few more that I forget to mention.
@@millymahinra3900Not in the financial sense. There were reports of Partey intending to extend his stay in Madrid and he has a great relationship with Simeone. Zakaria is similar to Partey in his playing style and convincing him to come to Manchester should theoretically be easier.
@@StatmanDave Thanks mate. You made some amazing observations as well. As it is Fred was growing into the season but he is now making those killer passes. The latest one against LASK that created the Mata goal. Now it makes sense why and how. Can you kindly throw some light on possible formations when Pogba and Rashford are back.
Tactically, Bruno is elite. That's just one of his strengths. Leadership cannot be emphasized enough. This is something that has been lacking since Fergie retired. Someone who can inspire, hold others accountable and lead by example has been the key to ManU success. Adding Rashford, Pogba and maybe Sancho to this team is the key for a good team to become great. I'd also like to see an additional creative MF like Havertz added. How quickly a team can come from mediocrity to amazing with adding Bruno.
@@StatmanDave All praise to Bruno aside, it was a perfect storm for him to join. The talent, although ridiculed because of poor performances as a unit, is exceptional, especially for one coming from the Portuguese league. I know many have been critical of Bruno not being brought in this summer, but I don't know that the conditions would have been as favorable for him to fit in so flawlessly as he has. We can speculate til the cows come home, though. Cheers.
Before this i didn't realize how smart his off ball positioning and his intelligent press. Thanks for this video, it make me more realize how awesome he is and how stupid woodward is for not finalized the transfer deal during summer transfer window.
I have seen a post yesterday it says united fans are being happy that Liverpool won't get the title if the league cancelled but they don't realize that united will still play Europa league because we were 6th in the last season.. Which made me feel like hell. 😭 what do you think they should do about the covid 19 situation??
I think Grealish would be better. Similar player to Sancho but PL proven, a leader just like Bruno, would play for the badge based on his previous comments about the club and is available for a portion of the price.
@@prabhu9420 we can afford both of them and a quality CB if we sell Pogba,Lingard,Pereira Jones etc.... But it we keep Pogba then we don't need Grealish...
Ole had a bit of a rocky period but i think he is starting to become better as a manager as the season goes on. He better hope Bruno stays for a while.
I think these players can build a strong midfield and offer a variety of options for the team With Bruno But This If Pogba Leaved CAM : Bruno , ( Cantwell ) , Mata Box To Box : Fred , Mctominay CDM : ( Partey / Ndidi ) , Matić And Garner
#AskDave 1.Do you think Pogba will fit in the team with Mctominay doing so well and Bruno and Fred linking up? 2.In your opinion,do you think that the Premier League should be cancelled? 3.Do you think Manchester United should sign Ighalo on a permanent deal
Can Bruno Fernandes and Paul Pogba play together as - 1) Box to box midfielders 2) One deep lying playmaker (Pogba) and one attacking/creative midfielder And which of the above two would be better in which situation?
A lot of talk about needing defensive midfielders to “unlock” Pogba and stuff but I always had a feeling Bruno coming in would be another important cog in the machine to get our parts moving. Have a feeling Pogba would really thrive with Bruno in the side, he’s the guy to truly “unlock” Pogba by giving him the space to work and do his thing.
#AskDave, what about Pogba and Bruno in the starting 11. No doubt on the attacking side. What about Defensively. We all know Pogba don't have the pace and work ethic to do that. Will you switch Pogba to a number 10? Make Bruno play as number 8? I knw Pogba played for Juventus as number 8. But Serie A is a slower league. BPL is super fast as you knw. What can be the solution? Unless United are very good on the ball like City. Right? Wan Bissaka is not great in possession same goes to Shaw. William is not bad. Lindelof is a little shaky, so is Harry. Maybe it will work with a small teams. I'm trying to mean the Big Teams. Like Barca, Real competing with the best? Will it work? I suggest getting in Jack Greenish. Let me know your thoughts. Will appreciate it.
