How Bruno Lage TRANSFORMED Wolves Into European Contenders! | Explained 

Sorry but this video is really missing the mark and screams of people who don't actually watch the games, the football has been the best its been for a very very long time. We win the ball back 10 yards further up the pitch too limiting chances created by missed placed passes or a second ball. Neto due back will help our chance creation and Chiquinho, Trincao and Silva showing promising signs and improvement respectably means our goal scoring capabilities should increase. A major factor for our success has been our unsung little hero Dan Podence. His ability to hold onto the ball and create pockets of space means that the team can set the pace and break a press, prime example being Semedo's goal against Sheffield United. Podence's ability on the ball and ability to find space is matched by Neves' artistry, the man playing 20 yards further up the pitch means he can really show off his ability to set the tempo. In possession a WB will bomb on leaving space for either moutiniho/Kilman/Donk and now Cundle to fill creating overloads and triangles between WB, L/RW and CM thus keeping more possession and creating more chances to hit the front men. Our problem has been sticking it in the net, coming away from games with decent enough XG but 1 or no goals especially with a wastefull Traore spurning our biggest chances. Our success is more than just defending alla Nuno style, it comes from controlling games and tempo meaning we usually only need one goal, but as Bruno says: There's still work to be done.

Jose Sa has been sensational. He is a upgrade on their previous goalkeeper.

Bruno has created dimension, wider playing field and confidence. Mentally,he made them hold their positions and aggressive on counter attacks.. He has created width and opportunity. But,i seriously miss jota..But, podence can fill that void and fabio and neto can be that magical factor to creat another angle to their game. Mats killman and coady are rocks!! Under Bruno Lage, Wolves are much harder to beat than under Nuno. Unfortunately still blunt in attack but build a solid defense with Jose Sa and Max Kilman. In a few years time, Wolves will a threat for the Champions League places.

Wolves fan since 1988. For a neutral that's the best summary I've seen/heard, good job. @Joe Hill beyond his first sentence, which I don't agree with adds a few more good points omitted in your analysis. I felt Jonny LWB made a disproportionate positive impact to team performance and results (Nuno suffered even more so when Jonny was out, than when Raul was out). Losing Neto also was significant after losing Raul. When it all clicks with all the first choice players in form at the same time, I'm sure wolves will go from good to great. Loving the journey, even with all the enviable bumps in the road.
