You'll have to equalize your ears as your sinking and not likely you'll be able to keep them equalized fast enough because your ear drums won't have time to stretch safely without damage, due to the car sinking so fast. Better go scuba diving a few times and hit 100 feet deep before the big day, ear pain isn't fun. And on top of everything else no guarantee the car wouldn't flip over while sinking. Definitely dangerous for sure.

@@katana258 Holy crap.. all I said was the guy is an ex Army Sniper which is 100% true. He was in the Army and spent a lot of time in Afghanistan with SEALs as well. I'm pretty damn sure this guy knows 1000% more about whar bullets do to humans than anybody making comments on this video.

This video caught my eye because I’m very interested in what firearms do to the human body, and ballistics gel is a fascinating way to study this. Shooting a gun actually makes me nervous. Call it fear, respect, or probably a combo of both! By far the best part of this whole video is the pure, child-like wonder and excitement of Rob and his friends. Everyone should have a chance to feel this way about something they love!

So cool! You got to find a way to keep the jell stable. That might help get a better idea of how far they will actually go in. The jumping of the jell must alter the trajectory of the round.

@@JellyDonutBoy2 i carry whatever hollowpoint is reasonably priced during summer. In winter i carry fmj's. I live in Wisconsin, so everyone is bundled up with lots of thick clothing. The fibers from clothing will get in the cavity and make the hollow point act like an fmj anyways, so why not carry something slightly cheaper, that you know for sure works in the gun? (Because you shoot that round at the range all the time)

That red plastic in the tip of the 44 bear round is to prevent the the hollow point cavity from getting clogged with layers of clothing / fur which can stop it from expanding all together or to optimally expand.

If you heat the outside of the gel slightly the surface will become glass clear and shrapnel and bullet paths show up way better. Great vid.

I'd love to shoot with you guys!!! I've only ever managed a .270 Sauer, 3 round mag, semi-floating barrel, expanding ammo, Swarovski crystal optics 4-12x48 scope at 500m- A4 classic target. I put 2 in the 10 and the 3rd clipped the 9/10 ring. If you flew me out, it'd be a little more costly - I'm in the UK.! 😂 Awesome video though, looked like hellishly good fun.... Had me beaming all the way through. ☺

The red polymer tip is to keep the hollow point from clogging up with clothing as it passes through the clothing the slits in the bullet help the round expand and keep it together to dump all the energy in the body and slow it down from passing thought the body.
