Elliptical trainer. ARC trainer. or other one thanks
Hey There, Because do the target areas which you have outlined as well as sounding very busy women. I would think a cross-trainer would be the best piece of cardio equipment for you. With a cross-trainer you have the pedals moving which will target your lower body and if you hold onto the handles you will be able to target your arms and back muscles. I have listed 3 cross trainers which we have in stock in case you would like to have a closer look: Marcy Azure EL1016 Cross Trainer: www.exercise.co.uk/marcy-azure-el1016-elliptical-cross-trainer Marcy Onyx C80 Cross Trainer: www.exercise.co.uk/marcy-onyx-c80-elliptical-cross-trainer Marcy ME-704 Regenerating Cross Trainer: www.exercise.co.uk/marcy-me-704-regenerating-magnetic-cross-trainer
Elliptical is one way, as it works most of the muscles in your body, so it will definitely help. If you want a more targeted approach we have some core workouts over on our website: www.exercise.co.uk/learn/ Hope this helps, please let us know if you need any more help :)
If you are playing a lot of football, I would advise low intensity cardio work because the football you are playing will providing you the high intensity cardio workout.
Can you do a review on cross trainers ones that are the top quality they don't shake around make noise and good for knee and joint feet pain as well the one you're using doesn't look very sturdy seems to be shaking a lot
Hey, Always take it slow and build up your workout routine slowly otherwise you will run the risk of burning out and losing complete motivation. I have included a couple of workout plans below to help you out: www.exercise.co.uk/learn/4-week-cross-trainer-workout-plan/ www.exercise.co.uk/learn/20-minute-hiit-cross-trainer-workout/
Thank you for the very informative video. Is there a position while using the elliptical that can cause knee pain ? Or knee pain could be caused by other factor like improper shoes or even the duration of the exercise? .What is the maximum duration do you recommend ? Thanks.
Cross trainers can cause knee pain just because the movement is not one people would do naturally. Generally, just try and keep your knees bent slightly, so you aren't jarring them during your workout. Definitely wear trainers, though, as they will keep your ankles and, as a result, your legs supported correctly. The duration of the workout depends on the type of workout. If it's just a leisurely workout to get you moving, 30-45 minutes is good. If it's HIIT, maybe keep it to 20-30 minutes. Hope this helps.
Ideal for Toning, use your diet to maintain your weight. The machine will give you a rough calorie burn so you know what your intake needs to be, it will also benefit your cardio fitness, my wife has noticed increased toning on her bottom, thighs and backs of tops of arms, (triceps) also back fat (sorry no nice way of putting it) i suffer knee pains but can use the cross trainer no worries, I have noticed chest (moobs) reduction and toning of tops of arms side belly fat, not much difference on front belly fat but our change in eating pattern has started to work in that area, we do about 50mins 3 times a week, feel much fitter, healthier and starting to see fair results. It really has changed our lives, we don’t have set days or times just do 3 times a Week and encourage each other to stick to it, 3 months in and 20lbs lighter by choice but could easily maintain weight by eating more and stay fit and toned.
@@didim9863 🤦♂️😂 yer probably not the best wording, joys of dyslexia I’m afraid. That said how would I say that it has really helped to tone hers and my shape ? Guess I just did 😉
A cross trainer provides low impact exercise which is advised if you have sciatic nerve. When exercising you may feel discomfort at the beginning but what we would advise is, to begin with only 5 - 10 minutes of exercise at the beginning and slowly build yourself up to avoid overworking and causing any issues. Please note this is only an advisory and would suggest contacting your doctor for a professional opinion.
@@ExerciseUK tku for the information. May be I must take the opinion of an orthopedic doctor. I walk regularly for 6 kmts n this has actually reduced my pain. But has not reduced body weight n tummy. That's why I want to purchase a cross trainer.
I have a sedentary lifestyle, got a cross trainer recently and my legs got fatigued after 5 mins of use even with LISS, I want to do more but my legs can't keep up, is this normal? Is this a gradual thing?
If you're not used to exercising, it is common. It will just be a matter of building up fitness over time. If you do 5 minutes every day, you'll build up your endurance gradually. It could also be worth doing some bodyweight leg exercises off of the cross trainer to build some strength. I've put a few articles below that might help: www.exercise.co.uk/learn/6-move-leg-workout-to-build-muscle/ www.exercise.co.uk/learn/6-leg-and-lower-body-toning-exercises-you-can-do-at-home/ www.exercise.co.uk/learn/7-bodyweight-leg-and-lower-body-toning-exercises/
@@marybalisado1583 Thanks. I was after the specification/more specifics. I have just bought the Nordic Elliptical Trainer 14.9 Commercial grade. Awesome bit of kit with iFit.
The cross trainer used in the video is the Marcy C80. I have included the link below in case you would like to have a look at the specifications to compare against your Nordic Elliptical Trainer www.exercise.co.uk/marcy-onyx-c80-elliptical-cross-trainer
All our cross trainers have control panel/nob which you can control the resistance but yes you can use a cross trainer to trainer to lose your leg muscle mass.
Cross trainers are a great way to burn calories, that's for sure! Sadly though, targeted fat loss isn't actually a real thing, and your body burns fat from everywhere at the same time, largely starting where there's most of it. If you need more advice on that, check out an article we have here: www.exercise.co.uk/learn/targeted-fat-loss-myth/
If you are looking for a cross trainer, I have provided a couple of suggestions for you: Marcy C80 - www.exercise.co.uk/marcy-onyx-c80-elliptical-cross-trainer Marcy ME-704 - www.exercise.co.uk/marcy-me-704-regenerating-magnetic-cross-trainer
Performing low impact but regular cardio work is good for women who have PCOS. but please if you have any concerns contact your doctor before exercising.
There isn't the "correct Tension Level", it will be different for everyone as it depends on your level of fitness and how long you have been working out. If you are just beginning to work out, what we would advise is to start on a low tension level and slowly building the level up. This will ensure you adjusting the tension level according to your fitness levels but also make sure you don't injure yourself whilst working out.
I can go hell for leather on a cycle or cross trainer with no perceivable increase in heart rate even though i sweat profusely.I honestly don`t get it.
Try increasing the resistance level on your cross trainer to provide you with a challenge. Also make sure your hands are on the heart rate pulse plates on your cross trainer to ensure the cardio machine is measuring your heart rate correctly.
Yes perfect for that, tops of arms and thighs bottom are it’s main areas. (If you thinking of getting one, get a magnetic resistance not belt, as they are far smoother)
The cardio machine used in this video is the Marcy C80 Cross trainer: www.exercise.co.uk/marcy-onyx-c80-elliptical-cross-trainer But we do have the Marcy ME-704 Cross Trainer which generates it's own energy and is higher quality. www.exercise.co.uk/marcy-me-704-regenerating-magnetic-cross-trainer
We are sorry to hear that. Why not try this video from our brand ambassador Curly Chlo: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-to8tok8NPtI.html
Actually, he was spot on with the benefits of using a cross trainer and different beneficial workouts. I found it highly informative and there was no excessive talking.
