Game 2 of 2 for our set. In this video Chris and I play War of the Ring + LoME expansion. This video has me playing the Shadow vs Chris the Fellowship.
This game might demonstrate what being too cautions looks like, and that you need to take some risks. Also enjoy the amount of times I call the Mouth the Witch King, even into the 35 minute post game discussion. You could play a drinking game on the number of times I do it makes you have to take a shot.
As always, no rules and just straight into the action, though that doesn't mean we don't make the odd rule mistake. This is mostly a raw recording. I cut some bits but otherwise its the whole thing - tech fails, thinking time, tactical genius, skilled dice rolls, questionable audio, and great fun play.

So my uinderstanding of things like immediately draw after playing a card is that you are still playing a card untill you have resolved its effects Same with dice, you haven't played it till the action is finished). This would mean at 28mins you shouldn't draw a card for witch king. Of course you are WAAAAAAAY more experienced than me so I could be off but either way its a learning point for someone (probably me).

I'm not personally sure on some of the cards either. Like I know base WK the immediate draw is actually after you have decided to press or stop. But I'm not sure of LoME WK or the Palantir of Orthanc card. Those matter less tho as you aren't often in combat for them. But if you play Grond or the Isengard triple siege, or already have Dol Amroth under siege and then play Corsairs of Umbar. They all trigger an immediate combat. I believe in these cases you do draw immediately before the actual action die is finished.

@@DanThorpeGamingWithIdiots The deeper you dig..... I guess as long as the people playing agree and its not obviously broken in some way then small uncertainties like this aren't that important. I'm sure witha suitable amount of forum digging the answers are out there!
