There are soooo many ppl who are at fault concerning Cecil's murder....and it's all about making money. If humans would just leave animals alone...that's all it takes...LIVE AND LET LIVE !! I love ALL animals! Not as many humans !
this story needs to have a happy ending, an ending where the dentist gets the death penalty. Lions are fast becoming scarce, life won't be worth living if there are no lions left. Why can't man let this animal live and be proud we are among a species that displays such power and beauty, natural beauty. It is my belief as God created the lion, it is His most beloved highest held animal and I hope He takes a tragic defense to all who have harmed and endangered this animal

Serengeti Lion well since this whole cecil the lion fiasco happened locals in zimbabwe and other countries nearby people have to kill 200 lions a year because people arent hunting them and those countries are losing money because hunters pay about 50000 dollars a lion

I hate the person who killed Cecil. IT shows how disgustingly greedy people are and how people want more and more. For this man, he wanted more and more kills and animals to claim he "Hunted." However all this man was being was a vicious murderer. He let Cecil suffer for multiple days before giving him the final shot. Some things are irreplaceable and Cecil was indeed just that.R.I.P. Cecil. Your legacy still lives on.

Red X Wild animals are needed to help save the planet. Of course there are problems with famine and diseases, but they all have a connection with wild animals. If you don´t care about this hunting issue, I think that you are a heartless human being.

I think hunters looks for famous lions and at least they take one or two from each famous colition of lion. I dont undertand why autorities from Africa permit this, the people that love animals need to do some
Where did it all go wrong humanity taking a wrong the turn identification with the ego with such destructive thought patterns no compassion or empathy. How can a human being kill such a majestic animal like Cecil with such beauty and courage. Humanity needs to wake up unless there's a inner revolution of consciousness it will be too late we going to destroy all the beauty on this planet earth.
Most people I know work non profit jobs with beautiful local people in Africa with little pay their whole lives to improve conditions there. I have to admit it dis not occur to me to ever specifically ask them but I have no doubt that most all of them believe that other spices have equal right to life on this Earth as homo sapiens.

They lured cecil out of the reserve so they could kill him. So the dentist isnt a good shot. And he let him suffer. It's really sad how people with money can do what they want without any consequences. I'm glad he doesn't work on my mouth.

You guys do realize that Cecil isn’t the only lion to ever be killed right? The tourism is just as bad as the hunting if there wasn’t tours then Cecil wouldn’t have gone so close to humans
It wasn't tourism that made him get close.cecil figured out humans made a easy meal by going into local villages and killing poeple. The tourist industry just wanted to protect this lion cuase he got so close and made them good moeny.
They had to lure him out with elephant parts. And as he was enjoying his last meal they tried to kill him. And seeing how cecil was below the hunter and he still missed his mark. So they let him suffer at least 10 hours. That is not professional. He needs to keep on doing what he does with teeth.

It was good that the lion was killed like he was. At 13 his number was up with younger, stronger lions coming along. He was soon to die a vicious death whereas by being killed quickly by the hunter the trophy fees and licenses paid did a lot to help the game departments benefit lion biology and habitat. He could have been wasted or he could have benefited his progeny and brethren. Good for that hunter. Bad for emotional people who would have wasted Cecil.
