People crying about the US doing this and that in the comment section, is a clear sign that tha US has to face a certain level of accountability. China can "reeducate" millions of Uyghur, Russia can "relocate" thousand of Ukrainian kids, but to the cave-dwellers of the internet, they are ultra based. Meanwhile the US is still suffering from the consequences of the use of *unconventional interrogation techniques* (let's call it like that to avoid my comment being removed) in Guantanamo, and the public learning about that.

Almost the entirety of Russian and Ukrainian FPV drones' critical components are made in China, and just at this moment, both combined assemble drones at a rate of 2M+ per year. Most of this R&D and manufacturing is done by volunteers. Can you imagine the sheer scale of Chinese effort if it gets invaded or even just goes to war overseas? The factories that make toys and small gizmos for the whole world now will be retooled for making weapons, while HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS of highly educated hard working people will dedicate their life effort to their design and manufacture FOR FREE. One or two luxury bombs won't save the US from getting absolutely bodied if it goes to war with China.
😂 Russia is getting destroyed by its small neighbor due to decades old US weapons systems. China would get smashed in no time. The whole PLA is corrupt, has terrible doctrine and lags technologically.
If a war broke out over Taiwan, the US would win, but at the cost of one or more aircraft carriers. This scenario, though, plays out far away from US mainland, where US supply routes are long, where China's are not. You're wrong, but not completely wrong. There is a reason why China is taken very seriously in that space. It is the only country that can match the US in economic and industrial output, and that has the determination to be as technologically dominant as the US is right now, as well as being determined to match the US military. A situation like this has never arisen since the fall of the USSR - a time that saw numerous devastating wars and toppling of regimes the world over.
This video lost all credibility when it made the unsubstantiated claim that China copied US drones. This journalist should follow journalistic ethics more closely.

China's way past what's presented in the video, all footage are on average at least 4 years old. - China is currently building the Type 076 drone carrier, and it carries GJ-11 stealth drones that can already act as wingman for two-seat J-20 fighter. - China's TB-001 is built by a civilian company originally designed for logistics, and just the militarized version of the civilian drone is already far more powerful than the Reaper. - Armed robot dogs are already integrated and standard part of all PLA exercises both domestic and international, and they already have integrated AI that can be given kill authority. - China has literally brought unmanned subs with autonomous kill authority to arms expos for export. - The JL-1 satellite constellation with 130 in space and 300 more by 2026 already has on-board AI that automatically track targets of interests in real time, you can even find videos on RU-vid where it id and track planes at Atlanta Airport. And even if the US can catch up to all of the above, the last but most critical problem is, China has the industry base to actually build the swarm, US don't.

In 2000, Silicon Valley was in decline as Russian brains that came after the fall of the Soviet Union started to return to Russia, disillusioned by American society and missing home, wanting a better future for their kids, with the millions they accumulated as professors, engineers, and coders for big U.S. corporations. Putin welcomed them back by making life easier, helping them to use their free enterprise experience acquired in the United States, and it helped the transfer of new knowledge that the Soviets lacked, especially in computers and automation. This Soviet brain drain started because Israel wanted Soviet Jews out of the Soviet Union, and they wanted to finance it with American contributions.

The U.S. often portrays itself as a responsible steward of WMDs, arguing that its democratic values, commitment to international norms, and transparent governance make it a trustworthy holder of such weapons. This stance is frequently justified by the idea that, as a leader in global security, the U.S. must maintain a powerful deterrent to protect itself and its allies. However, critics argue that this perspective overlooks the U.S.’s own history of using WMDs, such as the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, and its involvement in numerous conflicts around the world. From the Vietnam War to more recent interventions in the Middle East, these actions have often resulted in significant loss of life and destabilization. Moreover, the U.S.’s past support of regimes and factions that have committed atrocities adds to the criticism that its moral high ground is, at best, selectively applied. The narrative that paints other nations as unethical or rogue when they pursue WMDs can seem hypocritical, especially to those who view the U.S.’s own actions as aggressive or imperialistic. This double standard fosters resentment and distrust, as it implies that some countries are inherently more trustworthy or morally superior than others, based largely on political alliances or strategic interests.
