INTJ with an ISTP best friends since highschool. Intellect is where we both shine, feelings is where we both falter. It's like we're both the others sidekick, Green lantern and Blue lantern.
This was funny. My mom is INTJ, I'm ISTP. We get along very well, though of course we sometimes clash. But usually our differences are more in a strengthening fashion, like me helping her to see details that she misses. Also, though I am ISTP, I'm pretty low-energy in general, so I don't tire her out. :)
I'm an ISTP. I made a humourous post about INTJs taking themselves a little too seriously sometimes. Big mistake... Bastards downvoted me like crazy. Guess they do take things too seriously after all.😆

what happens with me(intj) is that i end up admiring her(istp) hands on straight forward but skillful approach. Since i know my flaws i try to imitate and match her more. And since i tend to optimize things ill optimize the things that she likes. i may have limits since its theoretical but shell put it into practical use masterfully. The clash of ideas isnt much of a problem since we respect our differences. But the biggest problem is emotions we just sometimes dont understand why and how each other feels. Im trying to mitigate it by being as frank and direct as possible.
