No idea why people ask me to smile. I think it has something to do with their inability to be happy just as theirself so they trying to 'feed' off of seeing someone smile, idk man its weird. I can't even rationalize that level of stupidity
You can be an intj with good fe and You can be mature enough to know that small talk is essential to achieving your Ni goal, don't talk about types in this Shallowe way, this is your own opinion and you have no evidence for it, you are not even using cognitive functions! Hi Joseph. I'm an INTJ-T woman who's dating an ISFJ-A man and I truly feel that he is the missing piece I've been searching for all my life. We are polar opposite, true, but because we are both matured in mindset so we view this as complement each other's weaknesses. My big-picture planning + his attention to details = flawless plan. His assertiveness and care of others helps me diffuse my stress when I'm always too competitive and perfectionist. His empathetic ability makes up for my lack of emotional expression: he understands me perfectly even when I can't convey my feelings openly. My analytical mind can tell what he feels through his subtle act of service, even when he doesn't say anything. I think it's about perspective and the maturity of both parties. It's a miracle that we found each other, because it's also true that I conflict a lot with other ISFJs at work and at school
My best friend is INFJ and he is the only reason I have checked out my MBTI (INTJ). All that you said is true, the best part for me is that I can start talking about some abstract things out of nowhere and he will never say "dude,, wtf?". It's priceless for someone like me. Also he will always give me some perspective that I missed, which is fun.

Legit as an ENFP we really wish the INTJ would tell us when they want to be alone so we can recharge. We literally cannot relax if you guys feel quiet, the instinct is we have to entertain ya or something because you stare funny 😆.
My INFJ, male, platonic friend of 18 years has from time to time annoyed tf out of me with their low emotional IQ level. I'm a female, much older, INTJ. Don't get me wrong, they "take care of" me in important ways, but really don't get the more subtle stuff at all, like what birthdays and certain sentiments in my life might mean to me, his lack of follow-through on comittments, going MIA and too much justifying this behavior. He shows little to no response to gifts I have given him, will lose or misplace items I have sent him and take an extrodinarily long time to retrieve packages at the post office that I have sent him. I take none of this personally, as I think there is something lacking emotionally and/or mentally in him, but, it certainly doesn't do wonders for my sense of value to him as a friend. He tends to "politicize" almost everything in life, giving him a false, simplistic understanding of people and situations, and has personally suffered greatly for this. This politicizing and catagorizing people gives him a sense of control which has backfired on him because he assumes too much, and incorrectly. Btw, he is well aware of how some of his more negative behaviors have affected me throughout the years, in our friendship, including how sometimes his procrastination has resulted in my being stonewalled. I have considered ending this friendship multiple times due to the havoc it has played with my self-respect and self-esteem, and. at times, actual functioning. When he was a child,he was suspected as having either ADHD, or, autism. His parents never followed up on these tentatve diagnoses. I can see, though, why people might have thought this about him as a child, as he still displays these possible symptoms as an adult. However, today he is a successful professional in a highly competitive, demending field, a field which requires some highly developed grey matter to be at the top of one's game. My point in all of this is that I am not happy in what is an intellectually fulfilling friendship, but, which, at times, lacks the common, natural, instinctive responses that I find present in my other friendships. Some of my other friends are not as bright as he is, but, their emotional IQ is much higher, so I'm not frustrated. Some things shouldn't need, "explaining", except for once in a while, regarding what's to be expected in a friendship. Maybe our values aren't aligned, or sense of etiquette, because sometimes this is simply what his poor behaviour boils down to, a lack of etiquette. I know usually its the INTJ that's considered the "colder" of the two, but, perhaps because I'm the female and older, this might change the dynamic. He has proven to be invaluable in certain circumstances, especially, crisises; however, in the average friendship functionings, not so. He just doesn't "get it". I don't think its a "male" thing, as I've had plenty of other men in my life who respond/react appropriately to the personality of a female friend, I thank anyone who has taken the time and interest to read this very lengthy comment. I needed to vent to get a perspective on things and thought it would be befitting to post my thoughts under this youtube topic. The specific, "INTJ/INFJ", compatability my friend and I have had for so long has been a mainstay in our friendship. Thanks again!
what happens with me(intj) is that i end up admiring her(istp) hands on straight forward but skillful approach. Since i know my flaws i try to imitate and match her more. And since i tend to optimize things ill optimize the things that she likes. i may have limits since its theoretical but shell put it into practical use masterfully. The clash of ideas isnt much of a problem since we respect our differences. But the biggest problem is emotions we just sometimes dont understand why and how each other feels. Im trying to mitigate it by being as frank and direct as possible.
I had to re-listen #8 because I didn't get it at first. I realize now I do this often, but I search Google or bounce ideas off my husband. For example, I am unable to write a heart felt message in a greeting card and have to search Google for examples. Another one is, I am unable to journal or write a 'so sorry' letter. I 'think' my feelings, but with age/practice, I am getting better.
I'm INTJ and my husband is ESTJ. We experience feast and famine. Now, we have a plan for intimacy and schedule it, because if we didn't, we wouldn't :)!!!!!
I have that on top of being an architect. I know one ENFP and he's their poster child. 20 texts a day, no predictability, chaotic and yet oddly hilarious and adorable. I like him but I dont know why, he just seems like good television.
The one thing I hate is when someone asks me what something is. I hate explaining something simple and obvious. Nowadays I just tell them to google it. If its something not well known, sure. Ive had 2 lifelong friends. One passed away so I have one...and my therapist. And...my dark humor is my downfall.
Hi Im starting to really like your channel. Ive only knew one ENTP and I hated him because he wouldnt shut up, ever. He would zoom right in on the most sensitive topics, annoy everyone, and just be an all around shit stirrer. When not in the area, there would be emails...and lots of them. They know how to push every button.
I'm an INTJ woman and he's and ISFJ man, and man, its has been a rollercoaster but we're figuring it out and it's the most wonderful adventure with someone ever. I love him so much.
The 5 reasons: 1. Enfp like to engage with other people 2. Enfp have Ne which is an idea generating machine and promotes good conversation 3. Enfp's Ne is great paired with Intj's Ni. It's mutually beneficial. A meeting of the minds 4. Enfp has Fi in their 2nd function + Te in the 3rd. Intj has Te + Fi in the reverse order which promotes balance between emotion and logic 5. Enfps know how to have fun and are able to get close to Intjs
When I was getting my braces on i wne tot the same place almost evey two weeks for two years. I don't remember the name of anyone who works there other the guy who owns the place becouse his name is on the sing in the parking lotl.
My memories are more emotional and conceptual as an INFJ. I do remember details that are especially meaningful, but honestly I have a pretty terrible memory for sensory things.
I'm an INFJ. I honestly hate it from a sensory standpoint, but because I don't want anyone else to have to do it, I scrub them to best of my ability and just try to get it over with. ^.^
As an INFJ, I feel like an INTJ in my head, but Fe compels me to care and try to make people feel comfortable. But I often feel like a thinker otherwise. lol
Same, I’ve been trying to figure out which I am for a few days. I think I’m an INFJ but I’ve always really valued logic and heavily enjoyed math, science, and computers since I was a kid. Was also very detached from my feelings. All of this made me seem like more of a thinker. But I still have always been smiley and empathetic.
