It will be so awesome and fulfilling for these workers to come back and watch the race next spring after they're all finished. Great to hear some interviews from the crew on the ground. Really glad to see a repave without progressive banking too, just a straight up 28 degrees of racing surface. Gonna be exciting.

If you looked at the physics you'd know that a rear diffuser is going to pour all that concentrated dirty air on to the front splitter of the car behind. They're dumb enough to think somehow releasing it low will fix the aero push issue, problem is, it puts ALL the dirty air directly onto the splitter of the following car. That asphalt looked pretty coarse. I sure hope the top coat was much smaller stones.

R.I.P Atlanta. Can’t wait to see full throttle, garbage racing here. You’d think they’d see that Homestead, is the only mile and a half that doesn’t suck. Maybe try more of that?
@thedirtybubble9613
@thedirtybubble9613 2 года назад
Homestead is a cool 1.5 mile track and it is a very basic oval that almost reminds me of the old Atlanta before the dog leg. It needs new asphalt as that is the original surface from 2003 when they added banking to that track.

Wonder why they dont use that asphalt or concrete that doesnt hold water..? Where you can run a hose on it and just goes right through.. would think thatd be ideal for tracks.. guess the rubber and sticky goop would just clog up the works anyways..

It's going to be slippery and dangerous no matter what they do. Flat F1 circuits are problematic. 28 degree banking 🙄 Must tune in.

It will be slick with one groove. Passing will be hard because that new surface will not have the grip of that old worn pavement. But it will be exciting. Now if NASCAR could get the format right it could be good.
