This could set the standard for the way that asphalt is made for some tracks. Simply ingenious how it absorbes water like a sponge then drains it away. Of course it might be a different scenario for up north over time with bad winter months... something Atlanta doesn't get in the winter. Freezing rain could play havoc on it in northern states.
One of the few times that a reconfiguration put on some great racing for the past 4 races we've come to the plate track version of Atlanta. I can't believe I'm saying this, but good job SMI!
Thank you for planning to race here in night For the 3rd superspeedway I can't wait!!!!!!😊 But..... BAD START TO NASCAR!!!!!!! why?..... BECAUSE NASCAR IS PLANNING TO BROADCAST USA IN ATLANTA MOTOR SPEEDWAY I'M REALLY ANGRY RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!😡😡😡😡
Another move that will ruin nascar. They didnt learn from 2008 now woth this new gen car it is most similar to a gt3 car. Their not asymmetrical anymore hence is why their pigs to drive and the racing produced this year has been awful. The only thing that saved phoniex lastnight was thr late caution.
@@liltwizz_07 I wouldn't call it better. Having Daytona like racing on a 1.5 mile track is just... wrong. I don't want to see Daytona every week. NASCAR is continuing to go in the wrong direction
