On 24th of January, 2023, the Hindenburg report came out with some serious allegations about the market cap of the Adani group companies!! And then we all know what happened!!
In just 10 days, the Adani group lost $110 billion in value, Gautam Adani’s fortune went down from $121 billion to $61.3 billion, and the stock market of india was in complete chaos!!!
But, you know what? In the next one year, something magical happened and Gautam Adani’s total wealth from $37.7 billion a year back reached $100 billion again. And while most people think that the Hindenburg report harmed the Adani group, when we looked deeper, we realised that this short selling was perhaps a great thing for the Adanis. Today, their cash balance is the highest ever at Rs 45,895 crore which 5.5 billion USD, on top of that, if you look at their 5 year EBITDA it was just growing at a CAGR 26.3%!! But now their portfolio level EBITDA has jumped by 47% you in the first half of FY24, which is their highest ever half year growth in history!!

@@nakulmayoor4635 thing is likely i suspect they sell their stock to increase value of their company while they use that value for their debt which also increases their trust with investors because again investors are connected with transaction activities so once they win the trust of investors they just got off the viscious cycle guess the answer money as money solves problems

Being myself tamilian … I’m very much disappointed when sterlite copper was closed because of dmk party politics…and courts were even dumber than dmk that they upheld the closure… they could have atleast given guidelines about pollution control management rather than closure … tamilnadu being the second largest industrialized state cannot prevent the closure of the plant … hope adani balances this loss in gujarat

Before Hindenburg report, Indian people, including stock investors were not fully aware of Adani, forget about his massive strategic businesses. There share prices were out of small investors budget. Only FPI's and big Indian institutions, investors holding it. Allegations were serious for media and foreigners, but not enough for regulators and the government. Suddenly opportunity came for good investors when prices fall down within their range. Also court also didn't give any value to invalid outsiders reports. Now most of the Indians realised geopolitics behind it. Number of stock market investors also rising. Big businesses always have plan AtoZ. Just my opinion.

@@VALAR_Morgulis. why can't brother. because according to him, he is unbiased in politics. Then he should have done a video on the black paper and present his take on it. One of major things that i can defintely is that no government is perfect and as citizens we need to be aware of the shortcomings of this governent. Please don't take this in a way that i am a congress supporter or something. I am not but we as entitled to hear two sides of the story and be able to make a suitable decision. If ganesh sir prefers praising the current government and not looking down at the other end , then this is not a business channel, this would be a political channel in my opinion.
