I wonder to what extent the Netflix show did him dirty (hey, theres got to be a villain, of course they lean into it). But then I saw the swerve on WvA, and you realise nah ... that basically is how he is.

Bini simply cant push anyone around 😂 There were so many races in previous years where he was clearly the fastest man but got shafted in the battle for position ahead of the sprint (nothing illegal). Heck it almost happened today. If he jumps half a second later hes stuck behind Philipsen for sure.

What happened to MVDP? He was there in the pack but didn’t seem to be helping Jaspers

Bini would be an ultimate sprinter if he will incorporate Cav's sprint technique after he said that he idolizes Cav. He would be unstoppable.

Many more dead than those two. Riding a bike is dangerous. I doubt UCI can make all the races finish on the top of the hill because some people can die while descending... They could push for more security (airbags like motorbike riders maybe), but for example freezing the times between the top and the bottom of the hill seem a bit too much in my opinion. Some riders are descending within their abilities, some others are playing with their life. It is exactly the same for amateurs (watch them descend the Ventoux for example, cutting corners on open roads...)? Adrenaline makes you dumb in some way.

Can and should always look to do more when it comes to safety however I don't think it's possible to prevent all deaths in cycling without totally neutering the sport. Going down a mountain really fast is quite obviously risky.

De Lie is about to jump into the gap between Biniam & Jasper, but the space was not there. If it was flat Jasper may have been the Victor however it was an up hill finish. Girmay had the lead out by his team inter and jumped onto the train of COF and he was the freshest for the uphill finish

I doubt Bini will dominate. He is good though. But Phillipsen seems off, Van Aert is not in top shape, Pedersen dns'd and De Lie is also not someone to be trifled with. He hasn't even got it in the bag this year.
