Friend did the same thing in China but his way of teaching was unorthodox, rather than make the kids study or do homework he would play with them. The school hated him because of his methods but it worked and the parents loved him so the school kept him. One family was so impressed that they took a photo of him and made it a family heirloom which he finds hilarious cuz he's black and the thought that after a few generations the family would still have a picture of a random black guy and not know why makes him laugh

I actually did the same thing part time when I was a high school kid actually😮 The job itself was not that hard because the young ones learn very basic things. The mom was very nice overall and didn't breathe down my neck while we were doing things, the thing about a tutoring job is the parents' attitudes differ. It was like two hundred yuan an hour, although I usually had to leave a bit later due to them not completing assignments and stuff.

English teacher jobs usually start at 10'000 up to 30'000 rmb a month if you have an actual education to teach in a university. He must have decided to not work full time but that's on him.

You alternate the seasonings between the two sides as well, so one may be salt and pepper, one pepper and garlic, one salt and garlic, etc. My favorite way to do this is with a 7 pepper blend, and a salt garlic powder blend. Gives you some nice char while also keeping a cool zebra pattern lol
