IMO I don’t think he knows him already cause in that one clip Primal is getting ready to fight Prime. But I have a feeling Airazor will be the one to stop the tension between the Autobots and the Maximals cause in the second trailer she saves the autobots from Scourge and the Terrocons and then she learns who Optimus Prime is. Then she leads them to where the Maximals are hiding and then she tells Primal who Prime is
Lol I think that scene in bumblebee was in the woods not a god dam forest or like jungle because the maximals weren't even a thing yet in bumblebee also note the fact that the maximals were in Peru this whole time and not in California so this theory by Ed makes no sense (no offense) and besides even in the woods like in California people would be like all over the place there going for hikes and stuff and since the maximals are trying to be like low key until rise of the beasts I'm pretty sure people are gonna notice some giant ass robotic animals like roaming the area and a giant bird in the skies and probs post it on nukes top 5 or something XD

They are from the future but who knows what spin a director puts on a movie ...it's not a lock they take the same route, i'm hoping they do but movies are never 100% accurate to what we are use to
Primal as a character was established as a descendant of Optimus Prime so of course he knows who he is doesn’t matter what continuity it is that’s literally the lineage of who Primal is. The maximals only exist in the future so there is without any doubt that they time travelled. The lack of predacons and rattrap suggests they could still be in the future maybe rattrap is a prisoner and dinobot didn’t swap sides due to not meeting primal or the other maximals which wouldn’t be breaking the continuity they’re building with these new live action movies I will say though I do think you might be correct for Airazor scouting things out when bee was being attacked by the decepticon kill team it’s entirely plausible she was watching from a far but she kept her distance as to not directly interfere with the timeline. The only reason I imagine they’re going to help prime in this movie is because of unicron and not necessarily because of the terracons (who are decepticons who unicron galvatrond)
I actually like this theory. Besides we need some in canon connective tissue to bumblebee. This is the same universe after all. Just because bee looks the same as he did in his movie that isn’t enough
Or just because airazor meet the autobots in the musel scene? In the death of bumblebee and because In the clip Optimus primal will fight prime too was just airazor who stop them and she said Optimus may not be for prime but for primal and she talk of the autobots for them
I don't think so. If time travels are involved, the Maximals are the successors of the Autobots, so they know who they are because for them are like historical charcters, so they know their story.
Its a misconception primal never said prime "I am not the one to fear there's a darkness coming " is the actual quote this is "Luke I am your father" All over again
I haven’t watched much of beast wars but if not mistaken the maximals are from the future so they would have already known who the autobots are well at least the primes, so Optimus wouldn’t know who primal is due to him being from the future not saying your wrong about them spying on bumblebee but it would make more logical sense for them to know who he is before hand
I really like this theory and it makes a whole lot of sense, originally I thought it was time travel from the future kinda deal but I think this theory is even better
Hey Brother, I really appreciate your view that Airazor might have been stalking the autobots since BUMBLEBEE movie, but since Airazor was not aware till then whether the remaining maximals are alive or not ( as we can see in the movie that Primal and Airazor are both surprised to see each other alive), so I don't think that Primal was aware of the identity and character of Optimus Prime. Instead I think that Primal was already aware about Optimus Prime at the time when he was given the name "Optimus" at the name of a Prime. [Only a personal theory]
I liked this theory but I have a doubt.... in the movie when primal met air razor he said that he thought air razor had died.....so how come air razor is able to tell primal about bee? Pls clarify.
This theory doesn’t make sense Optimus. primal says that he was named after Optimus prime and even says, this is not what I expected him to be like. And razor literally says to Maroge the Maximals are from their past and the future. Optimus primal knows about Optimus, because he is from the future and so are the maximal’s.
they took it from the first beast wars how they went through a transworp and ended up in the past of earth so basicly they took that idea instead of the autobots in sleep mode they have to avoid them unless they have too when he said were your future and past basicly there futre went into the past hence the transworp
I think primal does know about optimus but does not know what prime is like and what he looks like so thats why in the extra scenes they were fighting in the other scenes

I dont even know of im gonna believe in this theory because if the maximals have hidden on earth for centuries why primal os alive because on the revenge of the fallen the fallen already killed all the other prime except optimus and some of the other primes that is killed litery hidded also for centuries
