Somehow I've always thought it's got something to do with /cambio/ ; given almost all the circumstancial evidence supports it for the possibility one would, among their peers, shout out repeatedly their ruler's name instead of a formal greeting is next to none;excluding 1930's Deutschland with its madness and "Heil Hitler" but even that idiocy had a greeting (heil) in it, not like "Adolf Hitler"... Sorry for bringing up the best-ever country & system to compare with; my brain just couldn't find any other instance of aforementioned action of greeting by the ruler's name, for usually the ruler's names have been more or less of a taboo...
