Christine upgraded to the new X-TERRA ELITE metal detector with Multi-IQ technology! This is our first outing with this detector. The real question: Was it worth upgrading from the X-Terra Pro?
My first thought... Minelab should have had the Multi-IQ technology in the Pro to begin with. That makes too much sense! In addition to the multi-frequency, the Elite can use the Equinox coils.

Great hunt guys. The Xterra Elite looks like a great detector for beginners and also for a back-up to the Equinox and Manticore. I think it's going to do great at the parks too. You have the Expedition Pack, which has the wireless headphones and extra coil, so Christine is set for almost anything you hunt. Congrats!

Who would have thought an ice cream scoop would send Christine into Nirvana? Lots of neat stuff on this hunt, but I'd really like to know the story of how all those foreign coins got there! Just upgraded my Xterra Pro to the elite and you're going to like it. But if you are searching in the soft sand and not the wet sand don't put it in beach 2 as you're losing sensitivity to small jewelry and you don't want to do that in the soft sand. You can probably run it in park 2 in the soft sand for best results.

The clippy spoon is for using with coffee. Use the clip to seal the bag of coffee, then use the spoon to measure coffee granules/powder.

In 1988 I went to China for three weeks and still have a handful of coins. If I lived anywhere near a So. Cal. beach I would bury all of them for the detectorists to find. Perhaps that’s what happened to you on this hunt? Great show today. 😂

Tnx for introducing the ELITE. Hope to see it in action w/VDI in view - to compare its stability Vs. the PRO & to confirm whether the #'s coincide with the Equinox/Manticore.
