Peachette being the final mariokart 8 character is the funniest thing to come out of the booster pass, such a Nintendo move.

You know, I feel like everyone was so confused about what Nintendo’s plan for the characters was that everyone forgot about Peachette, myself included. Looking back on it, she does make sense for Nintendo to add from their perspective (not everyone else’s, obviously), but the possibility of only adding two characters meant Diddy, Funky, and Pauline took the spotlight and Peachette fell into forgottenness until yesterday.

what a lot of people arent remembering about peachettes signifigance is that toadette is a MARIO KART ORIGINAL CHARACTER that got promoted to main series status and given her own powerup. Peachette being included in Mario Kart 8 is like a celebration for how significant mario kart has become to the series and how succeful their first original character has become.

I think the idea with Peachette is that since she’s so close to the preexisting Peach she didn’t take as much work to add in so they were able to squeeze her in as an extra. So it isn’t so much they chose her over including a different bonus character as it is we either got her as a 4th bonus character or we would only have gotten the 3 other characters.

love that we are getting Daisy circuit. I really didn't think they'd add it, since we just got Daisy cruiser. It is a surprise to be sure, but a welcome one.

we have desert tracks in the bcp actually: kalimari desert and sunset wilds. but obviously they don't look like "normal" deserts like dry dry ruins, mostly because of the red sand.

I'm actually okay with peachette getting some more recognition, all others have had their moment, let her get her moment too

I like to imagine throughout the last two waves Nintendo knew about the datamines and wanted to keep trolling us until Wii Rainbow Road's grand review.

We got Diddy, Funky and Pauline when we were just expecting two, Peachette is just dessert to me.

I wasn't expecting 4 characters to make it in the game. I was hoping for 2 characters but I was not at all. Expecting 4 how did this happen like? I think I'm gonna add more characters like the next 4. Like I would love that. Maybe they'll add new carts, maybe?

My friend said that maybe there’s even more characters that they haven’t revealed, and wave 6 will give us an entire new column. If so, then Hammer Bro, ROB, Chargin’ chuck, and King Bob-omb would be my picks.

I can answer this. It’s because Peachette was a mainstay in Mario Kart Tour. Characters like Hammer Bro, King Bomb-omb and Nabbit were added to Tour as an after thought only because Nintendo had to think up more characters to add as tour went on. Peachette however was there Day 1, meaning that Nintendo automatically believed that she had more importance in being added to the booster course than the characters that came after. To sum it up and in other words, yes, New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe is the reason she was added in tour from the hype she had in 2019, and it’s the reason she is being added to the BCP today.

Peachette is a pretty cool character within the Mario series (even though the Super Crown is NOT CANON and create it Bowsette) but we should be grateful that we got FOUR BRAND NEW CHARACTERS instead of two which is pretty cool ngl

My prediction is, Mushroom Bridge will get replaced by the confirmed track Wii Daisy Circuit. Because Mushroom Bridge in my opinion just doesn’t feel like a final wave track. Moonview Highway does, but we already have it in Wave 5. And in the final cups of the base game (Special and Lightning cups) there is a Rainbow Road to cap off the cup. And same applies for the far right cup, the Moon Cup, where 3DS Rainbow Road caps off the Moon Cup. So I’m still optimistic that Wii Rainbow Road has a very good chance of coming in, as the final course of the Spiny Cup to cap off the Booster Course Pass. Even if it means, we’re getting two Wii tracks. Nintendo definitely surprised me when they debuted Wii Daisy Circuit, but I also kinda knew Mushroom Bridge didn’t really stand a chance to be a Wave 6 track. That’s my theory.

Peachette is a bizarre choice, especially because Wonder seems to prove that she wasn't going to be used again with Toadette not being a baby mode character, but I'd rather going forward they use Peachette as the "extra Peach character" than Pink Gold Peach

Peachette is not that bad guys. You're making Toadette feel sad too! About Wii Daisy Circuit, it has definitely replaced a GCN course and is not the Wii course that was in the Prefix. Even with all of the changes and rearrangements, that Wii course on the final slot has not changed. When you think about the models in the Booster Course Pass, they're all ripped from Mario Kart Tour with some changes. And guess what is happening to Mario Kart Tour... it is ending its content in the next tour - Anniversary Tour which is just all City Courses. So that means, no more courses are coming to Mario Kart Tour once this tour is over. Zero chances of GCN Wario Colosseum. The only GCN courses we got in Mario Kart Tour are; Dino Dino Jungle, DK Mountain and Mushroom Bridge. DK Mountain is the most likely to arrive in Wave 6 since it has had some changes since Wii and is a fan favorite. The reason why I think we will not be getting 2 GCN courses is mainly that we don't have great options. Dino Dino Jungle shares the same music with DK Mountain and Mushroom Bridge's simple layout DOESN'T WORK with all of these generally difficult courses. Wave 3 did had a course with a very simple layout with GBA Boo Lake, but when you think of Wii Daisy Circuit, it not only feels a bit simple, but when you look at what we got in Wave 5 - we got Wii Koopa Cape and Wii Moonview Highway BEFORE Wii Daisy Circuit and Moonview Highway replaced a Wave 6's nitro back when we originally meant to have 3 nitros. Not gonna ask but Wii Daisy Circuit was more likely a surprise addition... especially with our reactions, which is indeed good for Nintendo. Publicity can indeed work, even if it means people will meme Peachette as the new Pink Gold Peach. I respect her. She debuted alongside Pauline in Mario Kart Tour via the New York Tour (2019). Peachette exists because Nintendo needed to figure out a way for players to play as Peach for Super Mario Bros U Deluxe... while not affecting the story, cause how are you going to play as Peach when Peach has been stolen by Bowser... again? Simple, Toadette gets a power-up and become Peachette. It makes sense in their head. Toadette has become a main stay in Mario games, just like how Pauline is now. Besides, get more cute little girls to wear dresses... cause as we know with Disney Princesses, little girls dressing up as their favorite princess gets you more money in your purse. One thing I will say about Wave 6, we are all going to feel very bitter once the other courses gets announced and released. There is no escaping from that. We got the big surprises, now we will get the expected. Also, if there is anyone that still believes that Booster Course Pass 2 or a Battle Course Pass is happening, Mario Kart Tour is DONE AFTER ANNIVERSARY!? WHAT PART OF RECYCLING TOURS DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND!? THIS ERA OF MARIO KART IS DONE AFTER WAVE 6 IS RELEASED!? YOU GUYS WILL BE GETTING A... a new Mario Kart game as one of the Year 1 titles for the next console that Nintendo is working on and has already released dev kits of it this year. Rumored to be announced and releasing in late 2024.

Honestly Tosd Factory would inevitably look better stylistically and graphically in the next Mario Kart game than it would in Booster (Tour) Pass.

I hope Wario Colosseum is the GCN track. Mushroom Bridge is probably scrapped. So, that would explain what's gonna happen of how Daisy Circuit is gonna come with Wave 6.

Almost certain that Mushroom Bridge got cut. I just cannot see them ending it on Daisy Circuit. I think they realized that MKWii content sells and they went all out and basically decided to make Mario Kart Wii Deluxe. As for the rest of the courses, I think BC3 is a hard lock along with the Tour stuff. I'd also say that DK Mountain is much more likely than Dino Dino Jungle now due to the obvious bias towards tracks that were in MKWii, especially Wii Lighting Cup tracks (Mario Circuit 3, Peach Gardens), and the heavy Kong representation. (Also, I am the one who made that Wave 6 prediction graphic lol)

Well the good thing with Daisy circuit being added, we now have all 4 Wii Star cup Tracks: Daisy Circuit, Koopa Kape, Maple treeway and Grumble Volcano. In my opinion, the Wii star cup is the best star cup ever made

I think Peachette will be a Peach skin, and Funky Kong will be a Donkey Kong skin, freeing the final spaces for Diddy and Pauline.

i thought Peachette was super cute when the trailer for New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe came out, and when I pulled her in Mario Kart Tour, I wanted her to be in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, so I'm one of the 10 people who actually wanted Peachette in MK8DX

Daisy curcuit completely blew me away. My updated predictions are: Acorn cup: Tour Rome Avanti Wii Daisy Circuit GCN DK Mountain Piranha Plant Cove Spiny cup: Tour Madrid Drive Piranha Plant Pipeline SNES Bowser's Castle 3 *Wii Rainbow Road* At least that's what i hope. I don't think they are pulling a booster course pass 2, since all the tour city tracks are used up and no more cities or new courses are coming to tour.

The real answer is they added Peachette because she was basically free from a development cost. They took Peach's model and added a slightly different outfit. We didn't get Peachette instead of a new character, we got 3 new characters and a new outfit for Peach.

From the looks of it, Daisy Circuit’s most certainly replaced Mushroom Bridge. Every wave’s also received 1 GBA course, so that’ll replace either one of the non-city Tour nitro tracks (my money’s on Piranha Plant Cove staying over Pipe Canyon IMO, due to its distinctive environment and mostly underwater track design). Maybe because of the lack of BC courses GBA Bowser Castle 4 will be in it. I still reckon Wii Rainbow Road’ll be the last course of the Spiny Cup and DK Mountain will prevail over Dino Dino Jungle purely from popularity.

I think more than likely Daisy Circuit replaced either Mushroom Bridge or Wii Rainbow Road. I’m leaning more towards Mushroom Bridge since I think it’s obvious that from the start that Nintendo wanted the DLC to end with Rainbow Road. Unless Rainbow Road had difficulty in development for 8 Deluxe, I can’t see Daisy Circuit being the last Wii track and have Piranha Plant Cove end the BCP. I was a Mushroom Bridge believer but at this point even I think Daisy Circuit now replaced it. More than likely I think the tracks are: Rome Avanti Daisy Circuit DK Mountain Piranha Plant Cove Madrid Drive SNES Bowser’s Castle 3 Piranha Plant Pipeline Wii Rainbow Road Again anything could happen and we’re about a month away from a Wave 6 trailer so expect the unexpected even if we think we know what’s coming. Daisy Circuit proved that.

I am SO FREAKING SICK of everyone hating on Peachette!!!!!! From the very first moment that characters were confirmed to be coming MY BIGGEST HOPE BY FAR was Peachette!! I like Peachette.. she even has lore. Toadette finds the super crown in the Captain Toad Treasure Tracker Switch port, and brings it with her at the end of the game

Nintendo normally wouldn't settle for having a character select that wasn't a perfect square/ rectangle, so either they'll make some changes like putting all the inklings and villagers into one, put funky and peachette on top of funky and peach, or add another four characters.

I think R.O.B would've fit better in the last row ngl. Diddy, Pauline, Funky, and R.O.B probably would've satisfied most of everyone.

Maybe we will get 2 Wii tracks in Wave 6. In Wave 5 we got 2 Wii tracks, so it could be the same with Wave 6 Maybe the 2nd one could be Rainbow Road wii

I actually wanted Daisy Circuit to come to the Booster Course Pass. With Diddy Kong and Funky Kong coming, DK Mountain as one the two double dash tracks makes the most sense. I'm pretty sure we're getting DK Mountain. I think that Peachette and Funky Kong could be alts for Toadette and Donkey Kong. That makes the most sense. I was not expecting to see Peachette. I'm not complaining, I'm gladd that she's coming. Other than Mario Kart Tour, New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe is the only game she's in. Nintendo decided to show her more so people will love her more.

We should have gotten King Bob-omb or Nabbit instead of Peachette. Or if they were going to add easy to develop characters from pre existing assets, why not add Paratroopa or Captain Toad alongside Peachette? They’re far more popular and it would convey the message that they’re bonus characters more clearly.

That's not true. The datamine showed two Wii track for Wave 6 but we ended up getting a Wii track in Wave 5 and prior, when we weren't suppose to. People assumed that "they changed the order of the cup/wave the Wii tracks were going to appear" but because of this it seems like the datamine is no longer accurate and we may still see tracks from other games. According to the datamine leaks people assumed we would NOT get any Wave 6 Wii tracks due to the order change.
