diversity and inclusion is so important even more crucial today, counsellors, tutors and professional cannot be in service of the public by dismissing the reality of diversity or brushing it under the carpet because they think it does not concern them. Multiculturalism within the counselling realm is expanding rapidly as people from all places and background need the core conditions to thrive

I don’t think there should be a substitute for meeting people where they’re at.

4:14 A fraud??? Flipping heck, being older, having XY Chromosomes, and pale skin, does not invalidate your point of view. And to suggest that your point of view regarding culture, inclusion, and diversity is less worthy than anyone else's, kinda, sorta, completely negates the entire point of this video. Would a Bi-Racial child with pale skin raised in a family with darker skin siblings have any less right to speak about diversity and inclusion than the rest of their family? You can (and should always) be compassionate to someone's plight without having to buy a slice of victim pie from them. It is clear we don't all start off with the same amount of marbles, and some people do have certain advantages, but no one is ever helped by reinforcing a false narrative that is telling people they're a helpless victim. Inclusion/diversity quotas are not a reasonable solution. Assisting people in achieving their goals is. Edit: So you're not English because your DNA test says you are not? Using this rationale, a third generation person of Japanese descent, who was born and raised and currently lives in London, speaks only English and hold a British passport, is not English either?
