Thanks. The path from being an amateur to a pro is a personal evolution. Just keep moving forward with your journey. There's not much a book could teach you about turning pro. You'll know you're ready when you know. Conducting yourself professionally is the biggest hurdle. Track everything; analyze your progress and your problems; be sufficiently bankrolled. Most of all, be realistic with yourself.

Listening to this guy you'd swear sports betting was a good career choice. Truth is 99% of punters lose to the house and that seems like pretty crap odds to me. And it is all stacked in the bookies advantage. It is a bad industry that has ruined far more lives than it has enhanced on the punters side anyway.
You have to shop for lines , you are exploiting the bookies mistakes rather than playing into whatever lines make are in their favour - arbitrage value betting - a lot of value on in ew horses these days made a couple grands
