I quit sugar and went low carb and did intermittent fasting. In one month I tossed my Lisinopril. I had been on blood pressure pills 25 years. Can’t believe sugar was the culprit for my situation!!! Good luck to all.❤️ I am 75 years old.

Wow that's amazing! I was put on Lisinopril in May and the first med was a combo with Hydrochlorothiazide. Had side effects from the Hydro. So now just Lisinopril. Feeling tingly in my feet yesterday and today and that's a side effect. Could also be lacking in vitamin Bs. I'm trying to find foods to lower my BP without counteracting the Lisinopril like the potassium. Can you please share what you ate/drank while on Lisinopril to lower your BP? I worry cuz I don't want it to go too low. My anxiety is actually making my BP high even taking it at home.

My blood pressure has been through the roof every time I go to the doctor.. they prescribed Lasix, Amlodopine, Valsarten, Carvedilol and Lipitor all together.. after taking them for about 4-5 days, I started getting unbearable yeast infections and had zero energy.. plus I was having extreme muscle cramps all throughout my entire body.. all of those were things I'd never had to deal with before taking those medications.. I told the doctors that I suffer from extreme anxiety and frequently have panic attacks and they didn't even bat an eye about any of that.. we seriously need a change in the way our medical care is operating because doctors should care more about hearing and helping their patients instead of simply pushing the medications that big pharmaceutical companies pay them to prescribe to people. . Thank u for making this video for all of us.. you're a true inspiration and a prime example of what other doctors should be following in their practices..MUCH LOVE AND INFINITE BLESSINGS TO U DEAR ONE ❤

You are so right. As soon as you mention anxiety most doctors basically roll their eyes and completely dismiss your concerns. You would think the doctor would have the sense to start me on a lower dose of a new med if I have a history of not being able to tolerate several others. I was given 30 mg of Nifedipine and within an hour of the first dose I was so dizzy I needed to lie down. These pills definitely engage one's anxiety especially if you have a anxiety disorder.

Check into a better diet that is what I am doing and feeling better no junk food no sugar and low carbs. sugar and and carbs creates insulin resistance your body can not do its work. My prior uppity skinny female cardiologist doesn’t believe me that metoprolol gives me diarrhea. She gaslights my anxiety and ptsd that sprung up 2018 craniotomy ( removal of a benign egg size tumor in my brain). My suppression of father abusing me in my teens and my narcissistic mother abusing me all my life sprung from the depths of my brain and surfaced as if I was living the moments in real time. It challenges my existence. The cardiologist said put the past in the past and live your life. I’m 70. So I poem my feelings to help heal my broken foundation. getting better at recognizing my triggers. I believe you. This doc believes you. It’s about finding a doc willing to think outside their bias western medicine model and whatever association they work for that controls or limits what comes out of their mouths. Many happy and peaceful days to you. I do have a large family I grew up with 5 brothers and me. No one believed me. Mother normalized fathers behavior. I finally walked away after brain surgery. Father dead at time of surgery and brothers couldn’t be bothered to check on me because I threatened their world that their father was a great man and ww2 fighter pilot hero. Mother thought I was crazy post surgery. I tell you these intimate details to let you know, I know what it’s like to be dismissed down to the toxic family. We work on validating ourselves. Nobody knows our bodies like we do. Again be true to you. ❤

Thanks for sharing all the amazing videos...you always calm down those who have issues about HBP, cardiovascular etc. I never see a doctor just like you...i had 170/90 HBp 2 years ago...my doctor gave me amlodipine 10mg...it didn't work on me and my body didn't tolerate..everytime i take it i start feel headache, muscle pain and begin to have fatigue. I can't sleep 24 hours and so many bad things happened on my body and really made me on miserable condition..i have told my doctor about that and she only laughed at me and said i am the only person who felt all those things. I cried loud and felt so stress..the worst thing was i started having anxiety...really bad.. One day i heard about d3 k2 and magnesium and how it relate to HBP... I come off the amlodipin very slowly and start taking d3 5000iu k2 90mg..and magnesium 300mg perday... Guess what!! All the issues gone away...i sleep better, my BP 120/80, the anxiety go..never feel better just like this before...it's been 6 monts..i hope never have HBP or metabolic syndrome anymore...

I want to just eat healthy, take correct vitamins and exercise. This Lisinopril has now started to make my feet feel tingly and I'm very tired even if I sleep well. Lacking Vitamin B could cause tingling, but I'll look it up more. Headaches too. My doctor said I can eventually get off this med, but if I can keep my BP down. Yesterday it was 121/88. Today 143/87 with a high of 160/94 after I got anxious about my tingling feet. Calmed down some and got the lower reading. I just wanna feel like myself again.

I went from my bp being in a healthy range to suddenly going very high. At the time I had no health insurance so I would take magnesium when it went high and it would bring it down for a while. I stopped monitoring my bp because that alone would cause anxiety. Now 10 yrs later I finally went to a doctor for a checkup and my bp was 209/90. Since then we have been on the journey of finding a medication that works but doesn't wipe me out. Now, 6 mo. later I am on 3 and still feeling weak, fatigued, muscle aches and cramps and weakness. Doctor says it might take 2 months to adjust. I am going to do all I can to get off of these meds because I do not want to live like this.

Adam J. Story, here on RU-vid is a great channel to help with blood pressure. Try to start eating better and one of the things that he goes through is a breathing technique that works wonders for me to the effect of bringing my systolic pressure down by as much as 30 points and my diastolic down by about 5 points in about 2 to 3 minutes. It's only very temporary, but if you do it every day it does have lasting effects on lowering your pressure all day. Also Omega 3 fish oil and a high absorption magnesium supplement should help you out. Check out his channel you won't be disappointed.

What I don’t understand is that after awhile, I become intolerant to every blood pressure medication that I start taking, therefore spiking my blood pressure even higher. I’m to a point that I’m so tired of going to different MDs and specialists only for them to throw new drugs at me, which don’t work. All I know is that I have severe food sensitivities, to even chemical drugs that I react to everything that I consume, I have to consider seeing holistic doctor: acupuncturist, naturopathic doctor, etc, which my insurance will not pay.

Another fantastic video, not entirely relevant to me as I am on no BP tablets but I still love watching your videos. If your short of ideas, one that covers C-Reactive protein in relation to the heart would be fantastic ! Reason being, I have had a multitude of blood tests in relation to abdominal pain and each has come back with high CRP. I have a CT abdominal scan for this but I made the fatal error of Googling this and found the link with increased risk of cardiology problems / event. Thank you

I have had excellent luck with a combination of a beta blocker (Tenormin, i.e. atenolol, right now) and Olartan (olmesartan) for about 9 years, no side effects, blood pressure never climbing above 120/80. I understand that taking atenolol alone is not a very good idea, because it might give low readings of brachial pressure even when the central blood pressure at the heart may be elevated, thus I feel safer taking a combination. Thank you very much for your efforts dear Sanjay, peace of mind is very therapeutic!

Thanks Dr Gupta. You provide such great information. For me, it started with my doctor putting me on Metformin and insisting that I take it even though it didn't "feel" right. After a month I had drug induced peripheral neuropathy and high blood pressure. Then the high blood pressure medications also gave me drug induced peripheral neuropathy. After 3 months, I have higher blood sugar than when I started, high blood pressure and lingering peripheral neuropathy. But I've found a better doctor, so hopefully things will improve.

Great channel, thank you for the advice. Between July and October I was having 1000’s of ectopics daily. It may not be totally connected but since taking a low cost Magnesium supplement they’ve almost completely gone. The holter monitor I had on for 24 hrs recorded only 35. I don’t know but perhaps my heart reset itself. My blood pressure is higher than it should be, when I take readings it goes down generally from say 145/95 to 135/85 by the third reading. I find that alcohol has a large effect on both my blood pressure and heart rate.

After suffering three years with the effects from prescription blood pressure medicines, that destroyed my stomach acid, I had enough of that torture, and researched Ayurveda medicines. I found that one Arjuna and two Mukta Vati tablets did a better job at lowering blood pressure than the prescription medicine (with no side effects). I also rebuilt my stomach acid using Betaine HCl. I’m now able to eat and drink normally, with lower blood pressure and no more stomach problems caused by the prescription medicine. You can also lower your BP using Chinese acupressure points for quick changes in lowering blood pressure.

My husbands blood pressure is 115/73-130/86 during the day and night. I'm anxious my blood pressure is all over the place 90/70-160/89. My GP don't think I need medicine.

I heard blood pressure tablets deplete calcium, magnesium and some other necessary vitamins and minerals. My feet swelled with one and I was just given another. A 24 hour monitor will stress me out or however minutes in that time worrying. I want some natural treatments preferably as an alternative. I had gastric surgery because my stomach was 60-80% in my diaphragm and now i realise this might have contributed to side effect.

I have high bp and anxiety, have been on meds for both for years but still have occasional high bp. I’ve only RECENTLY discovered that’s the increase in my case is related to zero carb intake such as cookies😢. However, I can bring it down in short order by eating fresh beets or drinking beet tea with fresh ginger….I’m still experimenting but it appears to be very relevant and I am avoiding sugar and zero carb intake.

@@patriciadault8983 You need both minerals . One to eliminate the bad excess sodium and the second one to relax your blood vessels and your heart. Look for the daily intake for you based on your weight. It works for. Also there's a lot of research done on it bit regular doctors are not aware of it as this knowledge is hidden to them in school and once graduated as a medical doctor they are forbidden to even talk about it.
