How do I Know if APEEL Is On My Produce ? #goseechristy #apeel
There are 3 signs that your some of your fruits and vegetables may be treated with a colorless/odorless chemical formulation that you CANNOT wash off.
Many of the links that were in the ORIGINAL video I did no longer exist and they have made changes to their website addressing some of the concerns I have addressed in the original video. This makes me highly suspicious of what are they trying to hide?

Ethyl Acetate is on the Hazardous Substance List because it is regulated by OSHA, cited by ACGIH (American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists), DOT, NIOSH, HHAG, NFPA, and EPA.
It is also listed on the Special Health Hazard Substance List because it is flammable.
It also lists the heavy metals on page 10 the link above

Same with pesticides, which are required to disclose what they use. And if you go to Apeel's website and try to click on "Ingredient Standards" you get an access denied message. Just tell us what's in it? Not that hard.

This is what happens when private companies take control of a countries currency. The federal reserve was created in 1913 so this corruption has been slowly growing for over 100 years assuming you live in America. This is why one of our founding fathers said private banks are more of a threat to a sovereign nation than standing armies. This is also nothing new. If you are familiar with history than you also understand that history is literally repeating itself. This isn’t even the second or third time it is repeating. This has happened a multitude of times throughout history to some of the most powerful nations in the world. Take Rome for example.

I live in Western Tennessee. I bought 4 organic apples from Krogers. I cut into one, halved it. I ate one half and it did not settle well on my stomach. I put the other half in a sealed bag in the refrigerator. The other 3 I left in a bowl on the counter. A month later, neither the half in the refrigerator nor the 3 in the bowl looked any different than they did the first day. I confronted the customer service desk at Krogers and the clerk told me they have no control over what happens to the fruit before it arrives at their stores. So much for 'organic' produce.

I had a bag with a few apples that I had forgotten in the refrigerator and was horrified that they looked like they were just picked from the tree. I knew something looked weird about just how glossy and smooth those apples were. The damned things literally were spray painted with that Apeel crap and I didn't know anything about the additive till just a few weeks ago.

I wouldn’t trust Costco on most of their fruits and vegetables. They have an article in their magazine that is touting global fruits and vegetables with the name of Oppy. Look up Oppy and in the article the word Oppy looks similar to Apeel with a leaf.

Driscoll says they don't use Apeel. Yet I know that's not true, I see their berries and I bought 4 dual packages. After three weeks, not one of the berries spoiled. Not one berry with fungus, all looked perfect. All of my life I've never seen that happen in my seventy plus years. Thrifties, Costco, and others are using Apeel without labels, and deny they are. I bought strawberries from Costco. Left them on the counter for several days as a test because they looked too perfect. After two more weeks they were still perfect. I asked the head produce guy at my local Thrifties he claimed to not know what it was. He pretended the reason their Driscolls berries looked sp perfect was he pulled all the spoiled ones. He looked embarrassed when claiming that. When I asked to see an example of the spoiled berries, "they have all been tossed." At the same Store for the first time ever I found mince beef with water added to it during the mince. When I got it home I squeezed it and water poured out. It makes me feel the need for extra caution when shopping. I also found calcium disodium EDTA in almost every mayonnaise, and almost every brand of kidney beans, black beans, pinto beans etc. That's toxic as heck. They claim it's to preserve appearance. Then their is cellulose in many of the processed cheese products, basically that wood fibre. It's claimed to make pouring grated cheese easy as its anti clumping. It's on a lot of pizzas too. I don't know about you, but my ancestors were NOT BEAVERS so I don't digest wood. Then there are plastics in food items like McDonalds milk shakes, soft cookies, etc., etc. I've come to the conclusion that much of the food industry seems very organized in this assault on food. People think the FDA IS about protecting the public, the very opposite is the truth.

Our ancestors probably did consume a fair amount of cellulose. It's fiber that's in a lot of foods, and they didn't have the kitchen facilities we have. This is the least harmful. You could buy a block of cheese or mozzarella in brine. Be aware brine has a ton of sodium.

Cellulose is basically indigestible, thats why ruminants have multiple stomachs to digest grass fibre, and thrive on it. We don't do that, in fact cellulose just sits in our stomach, and bowels, and possibly will block up small areas.😝

In my country we have grated cheese in bags but it doesn’t contain cellulose and the product doesn’t clump. Someone is lying to you about the anti-clumping additive. Maybe what you’re getting isn’t even real cheese

@@audrablue515 The food companies claim its as an anti clumping agent being mixed with grated cheese. Besides seeing it listed on packages of grated cheese, I also find it listed on some brands of prepackaged pizza. I expect it coats the individual pieces of cheese so they can't stick together. My belief is that the food industry does not give a damn about the lives of people, but rather their bottom line.

It may be the people at the top, or someone down the ladder somewhere protecting the bottom line in the name of profit, and loss. I know someone who used to work for a grocery store. She said the produce they put out was all the same, for the most part. If they ran low on organic, the produce manager would simply put regular produce out in the organic section. It's infuriating.

I checked into this chem a few months back and found a website that listed the stores that are using it and the ones that aren't. Unfortunately TJ was on the using it list. Then I went to two of my local stores Natural Grocers and the La Montacita Coop, both said they will not purchase from any supplier that uses it, and if they find out a supplier does will no longer purchase from them. Best thing we can all do, besides grow our own and support our local farmers market, is ask your store and tell them you won't continue to buy from them if they do.

I worked for a grocery store chain for 8 years. There is no plant in any store that has not been treated with pesticides if it has been transported anywhere for any distance and time. The only way you are going to get pesticide free produce is from a local farm at your local farmers market and only if they are growing without poisons.

Whole Foods buys their “organics” from China & Turkey. Lots of info about it online going back to 2010. Other countries don’t monitor or grow their version of organic the same way that we do. Their soil is often full of heavy metals.

A few years back there was a big problem with some mushrooms that were coming from China. Some of the Lions mane mushrooms were contaminated with radiation. Some growers products were perfectly fine, and they did periodic testing to insure safety. Others not so much with radiation, mercury, and some other contaminants.

It's all corrupt. I spoke to a guy who was stocking the fruits and vegetables, and I asked him if the organic fruit was coated with anything. He said, "it's all coated". I asked him if it was coated with appeal, he said he didn't know then rolled his eyes as if to tell me yes. LAWSUITS SHOULD BE FILED. There were stickers on all the fruit, but the print was so little I couldn't read it.

That may be Apeel. I have had luck calling (sometimes as I’m standing in the produce aisle) the companies that “produce” the food and asking if it’s coated with Edipeel or Organipeel.

By the way, when my husband picked up the lemons, he went to another store since it was closer and those lemons sat on the counter top looking picture perfect for almost a week and they never changed, when I looked them closely, I was suspicious and read the tag. Glad I took them back. I am now highly suspicious of Big Box stores and try to go to the Farmers Market...but that is not always possible!

I buy celery at Costco often and it definitely goes bad if kept too long. Earthbound Farms is located in San Jacinto, CA and they have said on their website that they don’t irrigate their crops with oil industry wastewater like some of the crops grown in the the Bakersfield area of California do. I don’t think they would go along with the Apeel coating since they won’t irrigate with toxic wastewater. I try to buy Earthbound Farms carrots because most of the other brands of carrots are grown in Bakersfield.

But if you don't know about Mayer lemons, the fruits have thin glossy skin naturally, therefore it have a lot of juice, I LOVE mayer lemons. I have a small tree planted in a clay pot. Citrus plants like to be in a classic clay pot, they do better than in a plastic pot. Thank you for this info.

About 12 years ago I used to be a produce manager for a company called Earth Fare while I worked there we used to regularly interact with farmers and take field trips to different places where they would distribute produce I actually was introduced to a man that worked on a farm for many years and he told me that even during that time they would regularly mix glue into the watering tanks at produce Fields so that you couldn't wash off the pesticides and other chemicals that they sprayed on produce so realistically from what I learned back then you can't even wash off regular chemicals it's not just something that's with apeel

I cant really remember any other specifics about that. I remember he also told me conventional spinach and conventional strawberries were the worst ones because they spayed them heavily. sorry I can't remember more.

Long ago, or maybe it wasn't so long ago, the BIG AG wanted to irradiate food in order to lengthen their shelf lives. Vegetables, fruits, meat. They wanted to make food more appealing longer on store shelves. The radiation did not stop the decay of nutrients, however. Pretty looking fruits and vegetables, but nutrionally questionable at best.. Meat packers then added nitrogen to packaged meat so that beef would not turn brown, for example, and would look attractive to customers longer, even though the suggested sell-by date was close at hand. Wonder why apples in June look so fresh picked, when harvest season is really in the Fall? Cold, chemical storage, that's how. As soon as a fruit or vegetable is harvested, an animal slaughtered, it begins to deteriorate and lose its nutritional value. Good looking fruits and vegatables are not the same as healthy, nutrious food. BIG AG and your neighborhood grocery store just want to fool you and have you pay more money for lower qualtiy products. If you can, grow your fruits & vegetables. I have one orange tree and one lemon tree. I grow cherry tomatoes, romaine, green peppers and cucumbers in pots. You don’t have to do a huge garden so you don’t get overwhelmed. Cherry tomatoes are the easiest and produce all summer.

I wrote to the company yesterday to ask how do I use oranges or lemons peels, how to get that coating off, if covered in this stuff. Here is there early morning reply: “Hi David, Thanks for reaching out with your questions about Apeel! No worries, you can remove the Apeel coating by washing under warm running water and scrubbing - either using a vegetable scrub brush or by rubbing with your hands. Peeling is also another good option for produce like avocados - but we haven't seen many recipes calling for "zest of one avocado" lately! 😜 Just let us know if you need help with anything else. Have a great day!” PS: did not others say studies showed with scrubbing and washing not all of it is removed??

Why would they have a representative tell me something that goes against what the website claimed and what others have stated was shown in studies that not 100% of it comes off in washing? If they changed the formula they should say something. Since I do not own a house I am forbidden to grow fruit trees. So since I must depend on farmers markets, organic sections of grocery stores, or specialty natural stores to get any fruit, how can I be sure they are not providing unsafe foods to me unbeknownst to the seller or grower?

Have y'all never worked at any store? Managers and employees have no clue what's going on. The only way they will know is if someone tells them. They receive the product and just get rid of all the bad items and put the good and working items on the shelves for customers. The only way employees will know something like that at the store is if they know themselves from hearing off the internet or TV, orrr if someone tells who actually knows from the companies who packages the items would tell managers who just work at the stores we shop at about any of that. Small time employees don't know any of that

I appreciate you letting people know this. I have been trying to sound the alarm on toxic chemicals being introduced into our fruits and vegetables as well. I am from Florida and I live here, and I can tell you from being raised here around the citrus industry that they’ve been doing this kind of thing for a long time. They sent the trucks full of fruit into fumigation station where they gas it before it even goes anywhere. Because they pick unripe fruits and then put it in gas and it makes the fruit blush. I used to work right next-door to the fumigation station.

Not just Apeel, but it is hard to find even orange juice that is only from USA oranges. Mexico, Brazil and Peru are importing soft berries (raspberries, blueberries - Driscoll) USA has strict guidelines to be followed for organic, but no guarantee that these other countries are following the same guidelines. Do they put Apeel on raspberries? Makes you wonder when you hear increasing number of young people (under 40) with colon cancer or gut issues if this Apeel is possibly causing this? In the summer I do have a vegetable garden.

My search a few months ago found this. Purified monoglycerides mixture of diglycerides food grade glycerolipids plant derived oils. Best I could understand is Apeel's code of conduct is to conform to specifications by the Food Chemicals Codex, FCC Joint FAO/WHO Expert committee on food additives, JECFA*EU and is GRAS (generally recognized as safe). If my notes are correct as a claim Apeel is exempt from premarket approval and 218 mg per day could be consumed. The dispersing emulsion stabilizer agents is where I have an issue. The 2 lubricants/dispersing agents are; 2,3-dihydroxypropyl palmitate and 1,3-dihydroxypropan-2-y-l palmitate and can range from 0 to 100% in final Edipeel product. The first one is used in personal care items, is not soluble in water, biodegradable and may be a hazard to the environment. At the time of my search, I did not find it on the NIH site. No, I do not want to consume it.

… and check the ingredient list for the production of Apeel … it says something like “… 0,6 (or so) % citric acid… and 99.4 (or so) % “other ingredients” .. it’s the citric acid that is used to argue it’s natural/plant based !

3:50 correction: Organic actually lasts _LONGER_ than pesticide treated fruits and vegerables, not spoils faster. Studies are readily available.

Not when I put the apeel fruit next the organic fruit. Remember, this is not pesticide...this is another type of chemical.

@@GoSeeChristy Yes, with that film crap. But without it organics outlast pesticides. This is one of the clearest displays pesticides are biotoxins. Organics are fine, we don't need artificial coatings on natural foods.

@@suekennedy883 The Weston A Price Foundation have stated Apeel Sciences currently offers two different products for application to crops at various points in the growing and harvesting cycle. The first product, Invisipeel, can be applied by growers to crops in the field. Second, growers can apply Edipeel after harvest. With Edipeel, the growers wait until crops are ripe before harvesting them and then place them on conveyor belts to spray or simply dip them into the Apeel solution, so they are growing crops in it as well

Trader Joe's does sell GMO apples. Be careful when choosing.

I find this hard to believe. I shop at Trader Joes and know the produce. The bags of greens used to spoil within a few days. Now they never wilt or spoil, just harden. Trader Joe's is owned by Aldi BTW.

Thank You. I knew something was off with the peels on my fruits and vegetables, especially lately. They feel thicker and have a different texture. They have a different taste too. They are more concerned about what the produce looks like than how healthy or tasteless it is.
