Lord I don't feel YOU around me like I used to. Please forgive me O'Lord if I'm lukewarm 😭😭 I repent of all my sins known and unknown. I do attend church. I've been distracted in my prayers because of the issues in my life. They are not as deep as they used to be. O'Lord I'd rather die than to be away from YOU. 🛐🛐 Draw me near O'Lord for that's my only desire. Jesus please be my side till end of time. I pray this in Your holy name Amen 🙏🏼

The fastest way is to eliminate things that your flesh loves and fill that time in the God's word and prayer and ask him for help. It is good and noble to seek God and earnest and you will find him. I've spent a great deal of my adulthood lukewarm and was only able to overcome it by getting rid of things that kept the old me alive like anime, genres of music, video games, etc. Those things were nourishment for the old sin nature. Before I would force myself to carve out time in my day for God. God is everything, not I have to carve time out for my day because I'm reading the word, praying or worshipping it seems like around the clock and I love it. You can do it

God's timing is always right - I read Revelation 3 this morning! "So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth." (Rev. 3:16) It seems so tempting to give only SOME of our life to Christ, to only trust him with PART of your day, month, year, only lean on him when troubles are rushing towards you. Give. God. Everything. All that we have is already His.
Thank you for this. It’s an excellent tool. I came out of a church that only taught cherry picked bible verses about how loving Jesus is and how you can be like Jesus by doing good works via loving other people. They were so light on the gospel I’m trying to recall if they even teach it. I praise God for opening my eyes that I was in an unbiblical church. It was through study of His word I realized I was being fed a diet of cotton candy not biblical truth. God bless your ministry.
I have people in my life I'd consider lukewarm at best. they claim salvation through Jesus. I don't want to judge but encourage them but it seems impossible. Great message, I pray im never again lukewarm (I was for many years)!

Remember once we believe in Christ we are made righteous, as it talks in Romans a believer has two natures: the flesh and the inner man (born of God, spirit)aslong as we live in the flesh we will sin but the inner man doesn't, it cannot . What if im smoking, time to time i get into body lust, but also i do alot of will of Father. By his word i try to live but i repent and i fail agien but i agree that i am a siner and without God and Jesus i cannot do something in this world. This is not about salvation ,it's about a lukewarm church. not an individual who is backslidden ,a luke warm church is useless.,Jesus is reproving that church for being luke warm Stop trusting in your work ; and start trusting in "Jesus's work" on the cross
"i know your deeds" and "you think you are rich" refer to a worksbased salvation - these christians switched their trust from Christ into their works. all things listed here are very important, but the "lukewarm" here refers (as far as i understand it) to not fully tristing in Christ's finished work - He did 100%, our works are just fruits of that.

But God tells them: "don't you realise your righteousness is like filthy rags? Come to me and take my Salvation". God would rather you trust Him 💯 (hot) or not trust Him 💯 (cold), & not be like what Costi is recommending here: be people who also rely on their works (lukewarm).
Lukewarm dont think their lukewarm, so it doesnt bother them to examine themselves. If your worried your lukewarm, that means ur still examining yourself and fear of losing your salvation, which is an indication your not lukewarm, but need to continue to take your walk serious, God will do his part to keep you focused on the narrow part, focus on time with him and his word etc..God will continue to strengthen you, convict you, deliver you, refine you, till you get stronger in your walk with him, etc.. Stay in a place of repentance too is the key, no matter how weak you are in certain areas, confess that to God you need his help and cant do it without him. Scripture says, work out ur salvation with fear and trembling.. so if your at this place, its a good thing, because the fear of the lord is the beginning of wisdom 😊 Ps: also its a Holy fear, not the fear that comes from satan that condemns you, hope this helps.
Lukewarm is pride and self reliant. means they are trusting in their own strength not rely on Gods power. Their work is dead. A dead work is any work that is done in an attempt to be right with or maintain our right standing with God. An attempt to clean what has already been cleaned, making the work useless. Christians your GOOD if you dont go to the Church in Laodicea. Like Luke warm christian rubbish is like woke people giving names to perfectly normal people. These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. If you love me, obey my commandments. You are saved by obedience alone through discipline. There's no such thing as a lukewarm Christian. Jesus used that term to warn people. "You think you're saved but you're NOT."

Lukewarm Christians look no different than the rest of the world. They are sinners. In truth, when Jesus died on the cross for our sins, he made a new covenant for his true followers. He was able to send the Holy Spirit to transform us to righteousness and conquer the flesh nature to set us free from the practice of sin, and it's desires. I think it is possibly even blasphemy against the Holy Spirit when people deny the power of the Holy Spirit to transform us to righteousness. The Apostle Paul said that we are not in the flesh if the Holy Spirit lives in us. 2 Corinthians 10:3 Paul also tells us that we have been set free from sinful desires: "For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh." Isaiah 53:5 says: "But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds WE ARE HEALED." Before Jesus came, the law that people lived under could not conquer the flesh nature. That is why people had to sacrifice animals repeatedly. The cleansing that God provides is not temporary. It is permanent. When he cleanses us from ALL sin, we are made righteous. Hebrews 7:27 says: "He (Jesus) has no need, like those high priests, to offer sacrifices daily, first for his own sins and then for those of the people, since he did this once for all when he offered up himself." When Christians repent of their sins daily they don't have the Holy Spirit. They are still living under the Old Covenant, because they can't get clean. Many Christians mock the Holy Spirit by saying it is impossible to conquer the flesh nature and stop sinning. They don't believe. They are watering down and diminishing the power of the Holy Spirit in their own minds & in the minds of others. They are mocking the miracle of transformation that brings us Salvation. People flock to false religion due to the corruption in their hearts. False Christians will dilligently search their bibles looking for loopholes to sin. 1 Peter 2:24 confirms that it is possible to stop sinning: "He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.” When we are healed from the bondage of sin, it is permanent. "If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed." Scripture describes false converts as continuing in sin, because they deny the power of the Holy Spirit. 2 Timothy 3:5 "Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away." Scripture gives a strong warning of eternal damnation to those who reject the New Covenant by sinning: Hebrews 10:28-29 "Anyone who has rejected Moses' law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace?" God's grace does not free us to sin. It does not cover continued sin or future sins. It does not forgive deliberate sin. It frees us from sin. Ungodly Christians reject the gift of righteousness that God offers. False Christians cling to a doctrine of demons that tells them they get to keep their sins, and there is no penalty. This is much more appealing to false converts than the thought of giving up their sins. John 3:36 jesus said, "Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him." If people can't understand the clear language that Jesus used, perhaps their hearts have become hardened. God, in his wisdom, does not leave us in a sinful condition, because over time, sin destroys the human conscience. When this happens, they are lost. We can see evidence of a darkened conscience and a hardened heart when people mock and ridicule the precious gift that Jesus gave up his life to bring to us so that we can recieve righteousness that is required for Salvation. When Christians reject the New Covenant, Jesus will reject them, and they will have to pay the full penalty that that the Law always required for disobedience under the Old Covenant. That means eternal damnation.
Is there Anything about heretical practices of other faiths like yoga and reiki and other self helping practices of foreign faiths my mother thinks it's okay because Jesus did Reiki or whatever bullshit she read online.
