Nope, 90 degrees would look extremely bad. That's actually a very big flaw. 115 degrees already produce a very squared jaw. Everything below 110 is a major flaw imo. There are studies suggesting that low gonial angles are not attractive at all.

its not gonial, its jaw angle. Gonial angle is mesured from the ear down to mandible, jaw angle is mesured down from your ramus to mandible. Hes right, in male jaw angle is idealy 90-97, which will in turn make your gonial angle 114-120 which is ideal

Your mandible should be infront of your forhead. Take a picture from the side and make sure your forehead is flat to see how far your lower jaw is set back.

This video made sense until he mentioned the forehead and didn't quantify how that matters. How can the mandible be in front of the forehead? You'd have a massive underbite

Because your chin is recessed you are tilting your head so that your chin doesn't look receced so you can have you face face forward and breeth you see ? Because normaly you forhead has to be perpendicular more or less to the ground. But your face isnt in idead shape so you have to tilt it to watch forward

Fix ur overall posture once ur posture is correct do mewing. Breathe through ur nose. Chew gum(don’t overdo it) do tounge exercises and regular exercise and good diet.

Right now I’m mainly focusing on correcting my posture and working out and always trying to catch myself if I have poor posture or tounge posture

U can, for example the lower chin, then it looks even more strange, trust me, I have it and an orthodontic doc told me about it

In modern humans, almost everyone, (even models) has some recession in both jaws, however people will have one more than the other. For example, if you have a class 3 or an underbite, you might have a close to 90 degree jaw angle, but your maxilla will be reccessed.

How are you supposed to fix gaps without braces?

@@mi8377 reduced in size mandible.. didn’t get to grow out to its natural size.. tong doesn’t fit in the roof of the mouth. Receded & continuing recession of gum line on bottom front teeth from the braces & fixed retainer. Excessive ground down erosion on the teeth all over when braces where in & also throughout life because of unnatural placement of the teeth. Discolouration on at least one teeth as food/bacteria got under the brace & now almost impossible to remove, would have to get veneers etc. Front 6 teeth are noticeably smaller & weeker than average person who never had the braces & fixed retainer etc, there is wobble even with fixed retainer, probably because they are not being used as they would naturally. All the teeth are crammed together so it is more difficult to to clean in between & also probably low grade stress etc that body has adjusted to but still not relaxed in the mouth. Has caused my nasal airwave passage to mostly collapse causing reduced air flow which is causing sleeping issues & general ability to breath more optimally through the nose is greatly reduced. Rubbing on the sides of the tongue also could be getting worse but manageable atm, caused by the jaw line being pulling in a recessed etc. Whole jaw is recessed and didn’t get to grow out to its natural position, size & length width etc. possible double jaw surgery needed to correct it, very expensive. These are just a few things I have personally noticed & written now off the top of my head. I would very much like to see Dr. Mike Mew & / father - John Mew , to see what can be done - implemented to help fix & improve quality of life etc , within my lifetime .
