Just a couple things to add. 1)Yes you could technically just look at the team when you spawn to get an idea but this isn't always accurate since sometimes you won't have top tier tanks spawn in at the start. 2) I think the SP cost for SPAA may have changed slightly so the number I used might not be accurate 3)Mistake on my part I forgot to mention 190SP cost for a heavy. This is the same as 200 the cost is just slightly different since this applies to vehicles with a BR ending in .3 since they get uptiered slightly more than ones with .7 due to how the MM works
For Heavies : 220 = Top BR : Tiger E in a 5.7 game 200 = .3 uptier : Jumbo 76 in a 6.3 game 190 = .4 uptier : Tiger 2 P in a 6.7 game 180 = .6 uptier : Tiger E in a 6.3 Game 170 = .7 uptier : Jumbo 76 in a 6.7 game 150 = 1 full uptier : Tiger E in a 6.7 game
Thanks for the tip, and to go around the trying to remember the numbers, i just screenshoted the numbers when they were on the screen. Again thanks for the tip, have been looking at the team list to find the br. I've been looking for the higest tier on the team and take a standpoint from there.
But what always happen is that... when you're playing 9.0 and you see your spawn points. 100. "Oh well... max uptier as always." Then you press tab and see the player list/statistics and oh... we only have a single 2A4 on our team... and 5 minutes into the match, you see the kill feed is filled with loads of T80B(s) and T72B(s) unleashing havoc resulting in a one-sided landslide victory. Pfffffffft. Oh and half your team has left after one-death syndrome because premium. XD
That's almost what happened to me a few days ago, activated 2 super boosters ( 500 xp, 300 sl ) and entered a match, a map that I have never seem before coupled with one of the worst modes (in my opinion), which is Battle. Less than 5 minutes in we lost because my brain dead team couldn't do shit to recapture our base, while I somehow managed to find no one and enter their base a few moments before they won.
@@Commander_35 is not all of them , but you find those guys who think they are superior for playing WT over WoT, VERY VEEEERY frequently I don't have a graphic with me but if dare to say is more than a third of the player base

Back in ye olde days when heavy tanks cost 450sp I had the knowledge of the gods, and the speed of lightning. But now I'm just lazy and dont have a drive to play anymore so I haven't learned the new SP costs

Excellent video; glad to see someone actually make it. The ranges on BRs are a little wider than 1 static number for +0.3 and +0.7 -- heavy tanks can cost 190/200 in a +0.3 or 170/180 in a +0.7 match. Likewise, mediums can cost 110/120 in a +0.7 (I've never seen 140 for a medium).
How you really know is ... if your lineup has a single tank that’s awesome at its own br and a seal clubbing one if down tiered but there are multiple better options if you get a slight up tier. That my friends is when you get a full up tier on all your matches.

When you check the spread and see the deep hell that is the stacks of 6.3 HEATdog/Tiger IIP/Panther and Jagdpanther/Fedinand players... yeah, you're never getting a good match when every Brit is spamming APDS two plane stabilizer tanks at 7.0, every German wants to play the 6.7/7.0/7.3 BMP Patton RU Tiger cancer, every Russian is 5.7 or 6.3, and Americans now have to play 7.0 to have their T29 up against 1966 mod HEAT slingers, then there is the Pasta bois and their 1970's+ YEET cars with the only true drawback being horribly implemented HuLLjOke mechanics, and the Swedistani bois br stradling lineups dead spacing being 5.7 and 6.7, France with it's post war/coldwar auto-clickers fully kicking in at 6.7, and Japan that has HEAT-FS starting at 6.3. You can't win with deaf devs diabetically clinging to a garbage br system. Seriously WTF, they only moved the R3 up by 0.3br. So everyone gets to be destroyed by them still.

@@5peciesunkn0wn I disagree. It's pretty dope AA, but... You have to be extremely good to kill tanks with any kind of consistency. Not to mention that due to the fact that the Italian lineup is so thin at that BR, you're either sandbagging the rest of your lineup or using it at a significantly higher br since the change.
For Arcade bois: You can also figure it out but it will take a bit more researching, the general tip i have is to look for the highest BR tank in the game, for instance, if your line up is 1.3 and you see a B1 Bis, the game is a 2.3 game. If you can't find a tank with higher BR than your own, you're probably downtiered or are playing the same BR as your tank. Personally, I'd reccomend looking at the French tree since they have some tank names that i personally find easier to remember when i'm looking for the top tiers.
It's definitely underrated knowledge for the uninitiated. Full uptier in your German 6.7 lineup? Leave your heavy armour at home, it won't save you from HEAT. Full downtier in with a Jagdtiger? Park up watching a high traffic area or capture zone and radiate big dick energy all game. Then get nuked by the entire Russian and allied Air Force lol
I have learned SPG / Heay Spawn costs 130SP/220SP = full downtier; yay 110SP/200SP = ok downtier 100SP/180SP = meh uptier; bring out a light tank. 90SP/150SP = full uptier; quit the game and wach RU-vid
Some War Thunder boomers like PhlyDaily still memorizes all of the vehicle’s BRs, checks the scoreboard after spawning in and looks at all of the vehicles that his team’s using to see which one has the highest BR.
For me using the Maus, doesn't matter what BR. I'll just get bombed in the first 5 or so minutes. Hell, a few matches I literally spawn, move maybe 50m and get bombed instantly.
Well meanwhile they changed the System. When you need 150 Tickets for your highest BR Vehicle YOU are Toptier. If you only need 100 Tickets YOU are fully uptier. And you can see where you are in if you need 120...0.3 up 130-140...0.7 up. At least so long till they change it again. All over what is your opinon about the MM. For me it would be cool if they only Match you 0.7 up or down. 1.0 Uptier means in many BRs worlds between the Tanks. Epecialy at 6.7 or 7.7 when they only use BMPs these days and kill you from spawn to spawn with their missiles.
Also jsut as a P.S in single cap gamemodes where you are top BR your mediums/MBTs will cost 130 SP (not sure about HT) nut that's a handful of gamemodes.
As another note, tanks below your lineup's maximum BR end up with even lower spawn costs in an uptier. I'm at the point in the US line where there's not a lot at the same BR, so I tend to see spawn costs of 80 or 90 on the lower-BR tanks (because I almost always get uptiered).
That's actually false. The minimum SP for a full uptier is the lowest it will go. As I said in the video not every vehicle has the exact values I mentioned and I think some of the values may have changed slightly in recent patches but I was just aiming for a general video on the topic
Are you saying you can't get downtiered past your own BR? What's the SP for that? Or do you mean 5.7 is the top BR for the highest SP cost in that battle.
You can't have a 5.7 in a 4.7 game technically speaking. If you're encountering a 4.7 in a 5.7 it doesn't mean you're in a 4.7 game it means the 4.7 is in a 5.7 match.
I just use the scoreboard and still do well to figure out if I've been upteired or downteried and it works for me just fine and I get the BR right most of the time. As well as there can only be a few high BR tanks in your game so at that point I'll called it eg: playing 6.7 but being in a 7.3 game but there are only a few 7.3 tanks I'll call it a 6.7 game because most of the tanks are that BR level
