The Chinese New Year will soon be celebrated again. Chinese New Year is one of the most important celebrations in China.
The festival is not only celebrated in China, but also in many neighboring countries and of course by many Chinese abroad all over the world. According to the numbers, almost a quarter of the world celebrates the Chinese New Year. But why actually?
With this video we give you a simple, short overview of the most important Chinese festival, why it is celebrated and how it is usually celebrated. In contrast to many other videos and articles, we also mainly write about Cantonese customs and use the Cantonese language for all terms.
