Does the gci still ignore mountains and terrain or have they fixed it? I just bought the 2000 thanks to your videos and watching tempests stream. Curious if its working proper yet
TAF is disabled on Tempest’s server, but when it is active it works on line of sight only. The Overlord bot on Tempest’s server supposedly works on LOS as well but I’m not sure I believe it based on my experience so far.
@@timothymorgan8254 Nowhere near as well, it just doesn’t burn for long enough, I think it would struggle to break Mach 4 and it’s a much less aerodynamic design.
I’ve never tried the auto-start, I prefer to go through it so I know what’s been done and what hasn’t. Like sometimes when I hot start certain things are set up, or nav lights are on or whatever and it’s a pain in the arse 😅
@@fiasco11 One benefit actually is that if you flick the switches and see the effect, if something goes wrong or isn’t working right, you’re more likely to know or be able to work out what the issue is and resolve it. I’ll quite often hover over switches just to see what they’re for, then sometimes I’ll end up using them in an emergency. Like in the MiG-19 there are cranks for the gear and flaps when the power fails, and a hydraulic boost switch that stops your elevator locking when you run out of fuel - would’ve never known they were there if I relied on the auto start.
