Yes, there are expert Croc handlers out there now, but how many can or could do it the way Steve used to??? 🤔🤔🤔

That is actually a great idea for a crocodilian enclosure. Rather than having a walkway outside of the enclosure with the water level raised up for people to view under the water level, you can swim next to the animal, and still be completely safe. Fantastic, and such an intimate experience!

the three crocs they sent up there were Digger, Al, and Ton and in their place will be Bosco, Ripper, and Casper. The older crocs Acco, Agro the Lawnmower Eater, and Wyppa will not be moved and will be sent to the Australia Zoo Wildlife Park where they will live.

Wish that we could see more diversity(race-wise) among the workers. Representation of different races, encourages younger children from different racial backgrounds to dream of working in such wonderful environments, and teaches them that, wild life conservation projects are not designated to specific races only, but we all have a role to play. Loved the black mamba episode, with the young black females. Overall love Australia zoo!

Why has Australia Zoo reneged on taking Burma the elephant from Auckland Zoo as of today 19th April 2022. Burma was due to fly out next week, crate trained, cargo plane sorted & Burma team all organised to go with her. The other elephant 'Anjalee' has already been shipped to Taronga Zoo for breeding. Now Burma is all alone yet again. How can you do this to a single elephant that needs a herd. Aussie Zoo (Irwins) agreed to have Burma, all paperwork all signed off. So much for this Aussie Zoo being a sanctuary... !!!!!!
