This sound very healthy and spot on. The "writing a letter to your senator" part though... does that really still makes sense these days? How many senators are really working for us? I'd say that's part of the reason for the anger most of us are feeling inside of us right there.

I was kind of lost for the first minute of your explanation? But once you started talking about lashing out vs feeling it, that’s when it made perfect sense. Helped me understand my anger better

I also see it as productive but when I notice people push me or talk me into their wills and say my opinion then they insult me. It's weird how sick the world nowadays is and it's just because 70% out there are ot aware and reflective and d their own feelings. Call me aggressive but I respect the Nos of others they won't and they are the ones making these statements "you are .. " not me. I never had a feeling talking like this would solve any problem cause what would the other answer, yes your right I'm aggressive, stupid, thanks for telling me this, now I'm so much more motivated to find a common solution together with you. No way, projection is the main unawareness disease of our time. Oftentimes, anger it's a tabu, like omg it's all negative about it. Once more, they're unaware that they react so as they grew up with a parent acting inappropriately in a verbal or physical way towards them as children . I don't demand that all should do therapy but in a time where it's so easy to do an online course why not investing in yourself instead of constantly projecting your fears and attitudes towards anger on other people? I also have to find new ways, one would be to say just no without any explanations and further talks or sometimes I don't say anything at all. I want to gently point out that the fact of prohibiting an opinion is a narcissistic characteristic, but if I lose respect then I withdraw my opinion cause those won't change their thoughts no matter what I say I even tested that out, different approaches same resistance, same reaction from their side. To me, anger many years ago was a catalyst. I had unhealthy chronical habits I could not let go, but anger right applied helped me to set boundaries and change my life. I want to encourage you to allow to feel anger and learn to deal with it by respecful communication as it has the power to move mountains, much more than any other therapy form. Whenever I feel anger today, I acknowledge it and honour it as I know ok my boundaries have been hurt I need to change that. It's helping me to do self-care and take healthier decisions and this not even verbal therapy managed to do for me.

I believe it is helping you to express anger but anytime the other person is getting angry I am in shock and shut down

anger is always the refusal to accept what is, and thus, it is always a form of resistance

anger isn't that, it is a trauma response in some cases, you couldn't be angry as a child with a narc parent, in my view anger is helplessness

Those deep breathe shit only makes me more angry 😂 that deep breathe shit only works for people with controllable environment, if you live around people that anger the fuck out of you on a daily basis that deep breathe shit ain’t help, anger is good let it out verbally don’t kill that’s all 😂 sometimes some people can only respect you when you stoop to their level but make sure you stoop even lower to let them know you are conqueror of pettiness and not them
