The cyclone takes out debris down to 30 microns...essentially the same amount as the larger debris a sand filter removes (which is 20-30 microns). Thanks for the great video!

It acutally takes debris down to 5 microns, with the average about 20 microns 🙂

Thanks for posting! Been thinking about using these. Glad to know they wont have to be totally emptied to be good enough, and that they really do seem to be effective in catching debris.

Try putting your system in service mode and drain your cyclone... you may need to open your drain line off your filter to relieve pressure. With your drained cyclone start your pool pump on high speed with the cyclone open and watch the dirt gush out.

My Cyclone has dirt/algae in the bottom that won’t wash out. How do you take it apart to clean manually?

Try putting your system in service mode and drain your cyclone... you may need to open your drain line off your filter to relieve pressure. With your drained cyclone start your pool pump on high speed with the cyclone open and watch the dirt gush out.
