Try putting your system in service mode and drain your cyclone... you may need to open your drain line off your filter to relieve pressure. With your drained cyclone start your pool pump on high speed with the cyclone open and watch the dirt gush out.
Its fine to replace a standard with a Venturi when the break but at $70 a pop for the heads its not worth the upfront investment just for electricity savings.
Yo fellas, can you guys shoot me a number, or hit me up please. I purchased the same exact light and it just recently went out. If you can reach out, ill appreciate it. Thank you.

Wow.... trash... you’re lazy as fuck.. I have an idea. let’s replace things which are not broken cuz you don’t know shit about infloor systems.. that looks like absolute shit too. did one thing for... sure did use a shit ton of unnecessary martial. You need to get good at chip and peeling pvc and stop removal of parts which are still fully operational.
Interestingly, my Desk-clor does not have a standpipe. just a central hole. On the side of the pool, there are two holes, one just seems to go from the pool to the deck-clor chamber, the other has water flowing out of it when deck-clor is turned on. I wonder if it uses Venturi effect to suck water out of the Dek-clor compartment? Pool was built in the early 90's.
Thanks for posting! Been thinking about using these. Glad to know they wont have to be totally emptied to be good enough, and that they really do seem to be effective in catching debris.
Hi, I have the quickskim and the maindrain it's connected to the front port. The bottom port goes to the pump. There is nothing in the skimmer. Do I need a valve to pull from the main drain?
an OK video, does not help if you dont tell us the difference between the 2 heads, you might save some money by running at lower speed but you might also need to run it longer cause the heads dont clean as much as the previous ones, so tell us.. what the difference?
Did this actually work for you Chad? I've heard lots of stories of these not actually being connected to the main vacuum and only plumbed for water flow to create the venturi effect.
Remodeling the pool and coverting all the pop ups to a&a. What if the main drain flows into the skimmer before going to the filter. How do you set the pool correctly? How do you make sure the water is being pulled from the main drain?
I need to install something like this to an existing and full pool. Can I do it without dropping the pool level? Understanding it’ll be a little messy but is there a quick way of getting g a hole and pipe into side of pool.
I noticed my paramount PCC2000 popup cleaning system has not been running that well lately. I bought tools to remove the popup heads but they seem to be really stuck. You made it look really easy to remove. Do you have any tips for removed stubborn stuck popup heads?
You can turn the heads with the tool so they are unlocked and then turn on the pool filter which might push them out of their socket. Many are tough to pull out after being in there for a long time and getting sediment in there.
@@JJshimmyshimmy thanks Jimmy. I ended up draining the pool. While the pool was drained they were a lot easier to get out. I have them all replaced now and the pool is so much cleaner!
