I underwent an age regression therapy session in the early 80's, and it is what convinced me that hypnotherapy is real. Under regression, I recounted an event that I did not consciously remember, but when I told it to my mother and my brother, they both confirmed it was true.

What is the science behind hypnosis? Like how exactly does it work?

I love your voice ☺. Also your enthusiasm about your job and about getting to know your audience is great. I've often been told "if you find a job you love, you'll never have to work a day in your life". Its quite clear to me that you enjoy your job very much and that in itself makes me smile. :)

Hi Alicia. You are amazing. I enjoy your content very much. Ive been hesitant to ask my therapist about hypnotherapy. Your videos have given me the courage to ask next session. Thank you

Hey Alicia! Thanks for answering my question (The Age Regression one)! Just an idea for the next time you get hypnotized, what if you went through a past life regression? I'd personally love to see that!

That three part Q&A session was great. I just subscribed to your channel earlier today and I'm enjoying it. I have three questions I'd like to ask (better late than never): 1. Do people with an autistic disorder respond better or worse to hypnosis? (As in both inducing them and them responding to suggestions) 2. What is the finger snapping for? Does it empower or improve your hypnosis? 3. Is it possible to teach subjects a language while in trance, while they didn't have any experience with that language before going under? I'd really appreciate it if you could answer these questions for me (especially the first)! ^^

How effective or accurate can be hypnosis between two people with different mother language? (example, you with english, and the patient, with spanish in mother language, with or without english learned, the two examples)

Hi Alice! I have a question: when a person has just woken up from a long sleep and is a bit drowsy, is more suggestible to enter an hypnotic trance or not?

Loads of videos? Well I'm glad to be on board. I don't use RU-vid that much. Including yours, I subscribe to six channels. So know within the bounds of my experience online, and certainly for what can pertain to my needs, your subsmissions are highly valued. Thank you.

Sorry lol, another question: How is it that a suggestion actually works? Like why/how does hypnosis or being in that state increase suggestibility?

Can you do regression sleep hypnosis successfully in a format like these, or does it have to be in person. And any other criteria, pre or post session. If the answer is yes you can do it in this format, that is something I would be interested in.

I've noticed that I keep missing most, or all of the "Emerge", at the end of your videos. Your voice seems to fade out during longer videos, like the Approach Anxiety video. I am confused. Any thoughts?

It's not uncommon to lose conscious awareness of what the hypnotist is saying when you're deep for someone you trust with your mind. If you're zoning out but still following suggestions, that's a sign that the hypnosis is working well. If you're zoning out and no longer following suggestions, then that's a sign that you're falling asleep... Assuming Alicia's voice isn't actually fading out on the recording, it'll be one of those two, depending whether you're subconsciously paying attention to what she's telling you even after your conscious mind tunes out.

Hello..So when a person doesn't get hypnotised at all does that make him/her more mentally strong than ones who are easily hypnotised

Do you do one on one sessions online? I've found I've always had issues with fires and think age regression would help figure out why and how to fix it.

Sometimes I feel that I will listen to a sleep aid hypnosis file and it will work, yet other times I’ll listen to it and it will not work (even if I’m super tired). Is there a reason why sometimes it will work and other times it will not?
@ironcityed
@ironcityed 5 лет назад
Hi I'm Ed: I thought I might chime in here with a thought. the perfect sleep hypnosis has never failed me no matter how sleepy what time of day or night. I find, or should I say, I think you may be listening to it too hard. Turn it on, just get in bed, have your regular thoughts and it will sink into you subliminally. sometimes I can barely hear it but maybe just knowing it's there or knowing it's getting through, puts me right to sleep it hasn't failed me over a thousand times at least. I only use the one, I think it's 39 minutes 32 seconds you may have to find the one that fits you like a hypnotic shoe.
@ironcityed
@ironcityed 5 лет назад
It's called "the best sleep hypnosis" 32 minutes 42 seconds.
@mattedwards_
@mattedwards_ 5 лет назад
ironcityed yeah I feel that might be an issue, like I’m trying to much to make it work? I don’t really know how or what it means per se when you say subliminally.. like I have an idea but I’m not too sure? Basically like I hear it in the background so I’m hearing it but I don’t have to completely tune in on it? Idk. But yeah thank you, I think what you said makes a lot of sense to me
@ironcityed
@ironcityed 5 лет назад
@@mattedwards_ exactly what you said you got it and understand it exactly. No more explanation needed. Just relax don't even pay attention to it, have your thoughts, whatever you want to do, it'll get to you you don't need to try to get to it. You need to stay open to the thought you can be hypnotized... You can be hypnotized... You can be hypnotized... Get it ;)

Is it possible for you to do a past life regression hypnosis video?
@worthlesscrusaderuntilliha6943
@worthlesscrusaderuntilliha6943 3 года назад
If you naturally age regress ,to a trauma in your childhood this could be very dangerous and cause psychosis I know , the impossible of trying to change the past can become triggering and triggers childlike behaviour as an adult, if this happens more than 2 times a month it also could be a sign of schizophrenia, and ptsd revisiting that time can be too dangerous.

Here's some curious facts that pertain to my life. The 5th of November is 'Guy Fawkes Day' in England, the Catholic anarchist, who attempted to blow up Parliament and restore England to Catholicism. The movie 'V for Vendetta' is a take off on that day. Now, Guy or Guido as he signed his confession, was born in 'York', England. I was born in New York on November 5th (Guy Fawkes Day). In the American Revolution, NYC was the base for British operations in the colonies ! Maybe I was Guy in Elizabethan times, but here's the rub, I was thrown out of a Catholic confessional when a teenager, I left a Catholic minor seminary, I married in a Baptist ceremony (divorced now) and then became an Episcopalian (American version of an Anglican). So my life revolved around or should I say.... was in response to Guy Fawkes's misadventures and treacheries ! (lol). As for that day being notoriously political, consider that the US presidential election in 2024 will be held on that day ! If the 'Don' (Trump) wins in 2020, he will be considered what we say is a lame-duck president as in becoming 'Donald Duck' ! (lol)
