The Christmas episode where Tina left her play to see Louise recite her poem always makes me cry SO hard 😖 I love the bond all of the kids have together. ♥️
As someone who grew up undiagnosed autistic and was bullied and abused for it, this show really taught me to love myself and value my unique way of being when others around me didn’t. These characters are all so messy and unapologetically themselves, and they’re so beautiful and relatable because of that.
i wish this show was on when i was little, i was diagnosed at being on the spectrum when i was an adult. A show like this would've make my life so much better, like it does now as an adult!
Man I got into Bob's Burgers so late, like about the time the movie released. I love this show. It has become my comfort show, helping me through tough times and just being something comforting to enjoy when I'm overcoming a migraine, trying to sleep, or just want something funny to watch. I've seen every episode countless times, and I just love how wholesome and kind the family is. It's a wonderful breath of fresh air from the other more common adult programs from my youth, and I always look forward to seeing the newest episodes whenever they air. Your videos are really well done and explained how the show personally clicks with me and helped me heal as well, so thanks for making a great video. Edit: just realized how small your channel is! Omg I thought you were a bigger channel. Your editing skills and script writing are so well done! Keep it up, looking forward to your future videos.
This video was so inspiring! I’ve watched and loved bob’s burgers for a while, but now I’m seeing the show and the people around me in a whole new light. Thank you so much!
You are so right. I have used this show as my surrogate family since 3 deaths in a row, very close together of my closest family and best friend. I still use it obviously...thank you! 🙂
Oh my heart goes to you, I feel that. Thank you for the love and support! I'll make more videos so you can feel connected and grounded during your healing journey.
As a queer person, i love how casually queer this show is. It shows genuine acceptance without being performative or like an after school special. We're written and treated like real characters on the show, not just jokes or gags. Just another member of the community who's queerness is only one facet of their character
Thank you for sharing what Bob's Burgers means to you! I have a few specific shows/games that had the same type of impact on me, so I can relate to how a piece of art/media can become a method of healing in itself. As you mentioned, It's easy to forget how as adults we continue to engage in play as a means of organizing and interpreting our experiences. I'm glad you brought this up in relation to your overall point of healing; "Goofing off" is often frowned upon, but as the years pass those are the simple moments that end up meaning the most in my eyes. Thanks again and keep it up!
I've always lacked those communites. I was bullied for multiple reasons through my life. Whether it be my ears which stick out when I was a child and as I got older, the reason became my obscure interests or my social anxiety which makes it hard to me to meet new people in all aspects of life. I had asthmatic as a kid and I was soft spoken so I love Rudy in this show. I only wish I had his friends/friend group growing up. Your video explained my love for this show better than I ever coud've done.
I only started watching bob’s burger 2 years ago, till date i watch every single day repeatedly, during breaks at work, commute to work and back home.. the show always give me hope and see best in people. Thank you for this video.
I said this in another video about Bob's burgers but Bob's personality is similar to my dad's. He sometimes doesn't know how to express his feelings but when he does it shows how much he cares for us. This is my comfort show, I love it so much! 😢
For me is really simple, me and my wife were picking a show to watch during dinner, we used o watch Family guy, and it is such a nihilistic show... like really, we ended up desensitized about every character, as most of them are horrible people doing horrible things, but Bob's burger... was so wholesoe it became an instant favorite along with first seaons of the simpsons
Bob's Burgers is a great show, one of the few adult animations that's not only ground in reality but also one with well written characters that are for the most part, likeable.
I like this vid style, it’s super personal in a good way, I agree that the negativity and competition present in our daily lives is detrimental to us and feeds on itself, creating a feeling of isolation Keep it up
Genuinely so happy to have found this channel I'm really excited to see the rest of your videos. Bob's burgers and bluey are very oddly similar shows in concept. The two are shows that on the surface seem like your regular, adult cartoon and preschool kids cartoon The style The colors But in the end they actually bring a lot of life and healing through play, music, and dance. It's so strange to think shows like this can be so commonly overlooked and rubbed off for simply being children's cartoons. It's really beautiful what bobs burgers is doing and I will always appreciate the writers for making me feel like I am wanted and i am loved in this world
Im sorry to learn you've faced bullying that scale... As I have gotten older, I will say one thing is for sure. We are walking/living among A LOT of broken people. Even those bullies are bullying because they were hurt or are being hurt in some way. Learning this, in many different ways, during my life has helped me cope with human behavior on a different levels. Some of these people will come to a point of awareness of self and try to fix things--while other's will continue behaving badly. With that said, karma is a thing and it returns like a boomerang 🪃 in the wind 😵😵💫🥴 Bob's Burgers is my first love! The shows writer's always insert great life lessons into each episode. Your perspective was thoughful and enjoyable as well 👏🏾 👏🏾 👏🏾 .
I love this show because I can always find an episode that I can relate to. For example, the episode where bob cut himself and had to get stitches. I cut myself at work and had to get stitches too. I watched that episode while I was in the waiting room because I was scared of getting stitches.
With Spectrum's Disney+ deal and The CW dumping "Bob's Burgers," Cartoon Network's Adult Swim is the last "free TV" source for old episodes of "Bob's Burgers." The local Fox TV channel (KHON TV) DIDN'T broadcast "Colon-ly Drone," the third episode of the 15th season this past Sunday, 10/20/2024. (I found it here on RU-vid, without the usual blizzard of Fox TV commercials.;)
Have you done other stuff on a different channel I feel like I have heard you before! Keep up the good work bobs burgers also inspires me to make video essays
