Lauren! You're evolving quite fast, girl. You were like some bystander watching paint dry just a few months ago. Now, your smiles and gesticulation brighten up the screen like sunshine over a Pacific atoll. Anyway, to address your bewilderment regarding Filipinos' ability to sing like champions while sitting down, it's all about karaoke and karaoke bars all over the Philippines. There's a table with alcohol and snacks on it, a bench or chairs next to it, your friends or family members laughing and passing around a microphone, and ALL of you are expected to sing regardless of your ability... while SITTING. It behooves you as a vocal coach/ teacher to make a pilgrimage there. Go into a karaoke bar and jump in. I always tell friends who THINK they can sing to go to Manila and prove it. It's damn eye-opening! My sisters and one of my brothers over there can legitimately sing in any band anywhere in the world... but they're too busy living life. Thanks for supporting the Philippines! Marcelito should win. His talent is very much different from all contestants which their acts are already common to see and heard. Marcelito a singing talent is unique.and first time ever to see in AGT.

Very impressive yes! I am self teaching this song and The Prayer with 2 voices. I just need to polish my 2 voices and i will do a test recording. Marcelito is the best- he just inspired me. I would be happy to be heard as having pleasant voices/registers.

Of all the reaction videos, I think yours is the one to watch when it comes to true and honest critique. I like the way you analyze his performance in this video and of his "The Prayer" performance in radio booth -- from his voice modulation, to the way he opens up his jaw or clench his teeth, to how he takes his breath, then talk to your audience about it, point out mistakes and give advice like presenting a case analysis in a class. A couple of points for you. Marcelito defines himself as a tenor and he is used to being in a large venue. He does have a wide and well developed range though. It was not a new experience for him to sing in a stadium setting or a competition. Overall the international exposure was very good for him it was just unfortunate he could not capitalize on it very well as the world went into covid lockdown for a couple of years after it.
