Here are 5 (really 8) techniques that have helped my profoundly when dealing with grief. Give them a try for yourself and let me know how it feels.
And give it time. Practice these techniques consistently, daily for 4-6 weeks minimum. And see how it feels. And let the emotions out.

I keep searching for somatic movements to assist to release grief. i came upon your video. I will let you know how I get on. I am not doing great right now and pretty sure I have a ton of tears and stuck feelings to shift. I lost my mom and its a very hard time. Thanks for proving this help.

@@LisaChavesBeachDancer Hello Lisa I would absolutely like to , but sadly my situation is pretty dire - I am trying to stay out of the white coat docs but if they suck me in , I am in more trouble. I have not got the funds sadly FREE info is my only way forward, so thank you for reaching out.

Delghtful to watch - The movements are not only beneficial to the physical, but also emotional!! Wow!! Even at my age, I can do this! I am in the throes re-setting my body back to homeostatis and hope to spin and dance my way back to good health with power and grace!! Because of Post Exertion Malaise, I have lost the confidence to exert myself out of fear of crashing back to a vagal dorsal state, and can only hope that with gradual practise I will get my life back! To add, I consciously stopped dwelling on the things endured from past traumas, and this has also helped with alleviating chronic pain. However, I still carry trapped emotions and so grateful to know that there is a way out for them!! ... and this is it!

Somatic movement is about tuning into your body’s sensations and emotions, focusing on release and healing, rather than just following steps or getting a workout. With somatic movement, the focus is on releasing deep-seated emotions, like grief, by moving in ways that feel natural and healing to you. I hope these moves help you in some way.
